Lady, This isn't a special treatment. This is who the man Voight is. Once he considers you a family or a friend, it becomes his duty to protect and help you. He protected kim, Roman and Atwater as patrol officers and Benny Severide any many survivors too.

And he never ever dictated how any of his unit's members act. They have their own voice and from the beginning different opinions than him. The difference between Nina and them, they voice their ideas and talk things out with Voight to reach a compromise, a solution even when they were in trouble, he advice and support them but never force them to deal a certain way.

I think the right woman for Voight is someone that follow her moral and respect what Voight loves that people been thenselves and alone that action proves she is broken morally.

Hank was clearly struggling the whole episode with not just the case, but the memories it brought up of losing his wife. Nina knew this by the end, and still was like "I have feelings for you".

Like what the actual fuck.

That's why I think there's something really bad about her... she pick the worst cenário to say " you know, I have Feeling for you" 🤢🤢🤮

This is low move woman, no empathy

Nina lied for Voight (and the case too) .

That alone proves she isn't the right person for Voight.

She lost her objectivity with her developing feelings. Voight needs a person who has their own code, not sb. who bends their morals to appease him.

They will be the most forced pair if they end together...

I am not convinced

Voight's unwavering love and devotion to his wife, even after all these years, is rare, admiring and deeply touching. It's a beautiful yet bittersweet proof to the depth of his feelings and the bond they shared.

As much soo many people want a love for Voight, but I also know that maybe he should remain loyal to his wife, maybe if he retire he could leave chicago and move close to his grandchild
