15-20 years from now, everyone will be calling this “aesthetic” and “gamer-core” or something of that note. The exact same treatment that old windows computers and fruitigo aero are getting today. You’ll find blogs online dedicated to this, stimboards and all. Young people will be saying “take me back to when technology was actually good”. There will be hundreds of playlists with things you never even considered to be related to this. Mark my words.
Except the majority of that stuff came from the same era as frutiger aero stuff. The main difference is that it’s persisted. That Toshiba Qosmio was from like 2008, the RAT was from about the same time, though sold right through the dissolution of Mad Catz, the “gaming chair” was first sold in the mid 2000’s and continues to be sold today.
Frutiger aero had a distinct time period that people can look back on. Edgy red and black for gamers has been a thing for at least 2 if not 3 decades now.
