What if Skybound, but Jay was the one who opened the teapot in the first place, so that he could wish for Nya to be in love with him
OK THOUGHTS!
One of Skybound’s problems is how Jay thought it was OK for him to wish for love. Which completely disregarded NYA’s free will and choice because we never really get to see him realize that thinking that way is wrong.
I like how this could force him to see that Nya is a PERSON. Also more obviously frame him in the wrong here.
“I wish I never opened that stupid teapot in the first place” Would be a banger line not going to lie.
(Also if you do a rewrite…. Nya’s ark is really good in Skybound but is unfortunately paid little attention to. In canon)
