Ah yes, because (((they))) are coming for you 🙄

copied from one of the replies:

This comparison is deeply, offensively ahistorical and incredibly harmful, both in understanding the Holocaust and the I/P conflict. The motivations, the actions those motivations inspire, and the effects of those actions are all deeply different. And if you are mobilizing people around the idea that they aren’t, you are spreading misinformation that actively impedes the ability for us to create a path towards solutions that lead to peace and the safety of everyone involved.
The Nazis aimed for endless expansion (Hitler was very explicit about the fact that he did not just want to return to the historical borders of the German Empire) & total extermination of Jews, and as such rounded up all Jews & dissidents in any territory they occupied & placed them in industrialized labor and extermination camps, and took over most of Europe and much of the Middle East. Whereas the worst of the worst in Israel are irredentist & revanchist—they want a specific piece of land historically occupied by Jews & they want collective revenge on Arabs & Muslims.
This is racist, reactionary, and violent, but it is not Nazism. Israel isn’t rounding up every Palestinian & dissident they can get their hands on in any territory they occupy. The nearly 2 million Palestinians in Israel are still Israeli citizens with full legal rights. An entire tenth of Israel has been openly attending protests of Netanyahu’s, and haven’t ended up in camps. They’re not an ever-expanding Empire with no end in sight; they’re a tiny country the size of New Jersey, surrounded by multiple factions that have made no secret that their goal is to wipe Israel off the map and chase Jews to the ends of the earth to kill them.
Netanyahu & Likud’s disregard for human life in pursuit of preventing Palestinian statehood & destroying IRI proxy groups like Hamas and Hezbollah (whose existence are existential threats to Israel & Jews living in the region) is more than “regrettable”. It’s unacceptable. But there is no “when they come for you”. And hyperbolic Holocaust Inversion like this, shouting about how the Jews in a little tiny country in the Middle East is like the Jew-killing Empire bent on World Domination, and how it’s “coming for you” wherever you live makes you sound like Alex Jones.
You can easily criticize the Israeli government’s action without rhetoric that amounts to Holocaust Revision/Distortion and weaponizes the memory of the industrialized mass-slaughter of millions of Jews against people still living with its impact—people whose motivation in this war (however brutal & blinded by hate) is heavily informed by a desire to ensure it will not happen to them again.

Also I need to remind everyone that the poem in its original form is also really shitty, insulting, and ahistorical.

The Nazi did not come first for the Socialist and the Communists and then trade unionists and so one until finally they came for the Jews as the poem puts it.

No they started first with Jews and the Roma.

Jews have a long history of being politically left so because the Nazis came for the Jews this meant that any Jews who were Socialists, Communists, members of trade unions, and even anarchists all taken.

The Nazis also came for the disabled and mentally ill.

The purpose of all that they did and their number one target in everything that they did were Jews and the Roma.

That is why our children were in Concentration Camps, that is why our people including children were horrifically experimented, and that is why there men, women, and children from our peoples that were forced into sexual slavery.

Not the Catholics, the trade unionists, the socialists, the communist, and whoever else gets listed on that fakakta poem, no it was Jews and the Roma.

There is a reason why our people have intergenerational trauma from the Holocaust and why each have specific days to remember our victims.

The damage that was done we carry the scars still.

So that poem I hate it with such passion and I need people to understand that what Niemoller wrote is such an insult, it is slap in the face.

when put like that it's almost like the original was meant to appeal to the tankies

Anonymous asked:

so you claim that 90% of jews are zionists then get mad when someone assumes and treats you accordingly?

Let me write this out piece by piece so hopefully you can understand even though I know this is in bad faith.

The Jewish definition of zionism is that we deserve self determination in our homeland.

Self determination can look like a variety of different things. Hence why there are many types of zionism.

Most zionists want peace, we do not want jewish self determination at the jeopardy of Palestinian self determination.

The western definition of zionism tends to focus in on one unpopular form of zionism, Kahanism, which is a fringe far right ideology, and is unpopular amongst zionists.

When I get presumed a zionist and harassed or as you put it get "treated accordingly", the harasser is not harassing me because of my branch of zionism which is wanting peace and coexistence, they're harassing me because they're assuming I'm a kahanist and want all Palestinians dead which is simply not at all what I believe.

The issue isn't "wah they're assuming I'm a zionist" it's "they are assuming I want to kill Palestinians" which as we've established is not what the majority of jews want. Assuming that either all or the majority of jews want Palestinians dead when that's not the case is in fact antisemitic.

Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here and make what is apparently a radical ethical statement.

If someone's response to hearing of the October 7th mass murder of Israelis was to celebrate or applaud or otherwise express joy, they're an antisemite. Period.

If someone's response to 10,000 dead Gazans was to celebrate or applaud or otherwise express joy, they're an Islamaphobe. Period.

In general, if you hear about thousands of people dying for being in the wrong place at the wrong time or being born to the 'wrong' group, and your reaction is "HUZZAH!", you are a horrible person.

I need to talk about these tags. and this is not about any specific person, this is a really widespread view. which is why i'm talking about it.

I did not know any of the following info before Oct 7th. Like, just to be clear, this was news to me too.

Hamas's attack, Hamas's history, Israeli history, Palestinian history, and Jewish history, became a sort of bulk combo special interest for me really quickly.

The short version is: Hamas is not Palestinians retaliating.

Hamas was created, almost 40 years ago, specifically to violently destroy Israel and take the land. Not because oppression. Because Jews are Bad.

After years of terrorism (mainly a LOT of suicide bombings in Israel), Hamas put a bunch of people up for political offices in what ended up being the last Palestinian election, ran a VERY smart campaign, and took over Parliament.

Two years later, in 2008, it staged a violent coup and kicked the Palestinian government out of Gaza by force.

Hamas has run Gaza as a dictatorship ever since.

No one in Gaza is allowed to speak out against them. Journalists have been imprisoned for mentioning criticism or protests against Hamas. People have been imprisoned for speaking against Hamas online.

This is a vivid description - by Hamza Howidy, an activist who used to organize "We Want To Live" protests against Hamas, who fled Gaza last August - of what life was like there.

There are many, many Palestinians who work directly with Israelis toward peace, against oppression, toward two free countries side by side. Like these folks, who Hamas imprisoned for it.

Or like Bassam Eid, who quit working with B'Tzelem (a Palestinian human rights org in Israel) because he was frustrated that they weren't paying enough attention to how Palestine treats Palestinians.

He founded the Palestine Human Rights Monitoring Group. I think it's now defunct, but his current writing can be found here:

The other reason that what Hamas did was not Understandable Violence In Response To Oppression, as its leaders like to characterize it, is... well. Graphic.

As in, what it did on Oct 7th -- what it planned for two years to do, what it did in just one day, across 22 towns and a music festival -- is nightmare-fodder, literally nauseating levels of graphic.

If anyone wants to just accept that at face value and not read on, I won't mind.

Anyone who thinks Hamas and its attack might be justified, however, should just fucking read on.

An addition... And one correction to @autismserenity it was the last election in Gaza, the Palestinian Authority still hold regular elections.

-

One thing people should keep in mind is that there is no monolithic entity called Palestine.

Prior to the formation of the state of Israel there was the British Mandate for Palestine, which is the name of a British Administrative District. Before the British it was broken up into multiple districts under Ottoman rule and colloquially referred to collectively as Filistin.

Up until recently the areas of the West Bank and Gaza were occupied by Egypt and Jordan, until during the 6 Day War they were Captured by Israel along with the Sinai Peninsula. Israel offered to Return the Sinai and Administration of Gaza to Egypt, and Egypt refused Administration of Gaza but accepted return of the Sinai. Israel Offered to return Administration of the West Bank to the Kingdom of Jordan but this was refused. This left Gaza and the West Bank under the status quo of Israeli military administration.

Since then the creation of the Palestinian Authority with it's official armed wing the Palestinian National Security Services, and the PA sitting as an observer to the UN.... is the closest we have come to establishing an independent state for Palestinians ever in History.

The Palestinian Territories are those Administered by the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, and Gaza formerly administered by the PA and now administered by Hamas (since the 2007 Hamas PA War) who are a part of Iran's foreign Proxy Network and a radical excommunicate offshoot of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood.

But there is no distinct entity called Palestine, "Palestine" is a term that you need to specify your meaning.

-

Also, this is the flag of the Palestinian Authority, and the Flag that represents the Palestinian National Security Services.

-

This is the flag of Hamas, who despite attempts by the Palestinian Authority at political normalisation are not affiliated with the PA.

Repeating this extremely important fact:

Up until recently the areas of the West Bank and Gaza were occupied by Egypt and Jordan, until during the 6 Day War they were Captured by Israel along with the Sinai Peninsula. Israel offered to Return the Sinai and Administration of Gaza to Egypt, and Egypt refused Administration of Gaza but accepted return of the Sinai. Israel Offered to return Administration of the West Bank to the Kingdom of Jordan but this was refused. This left Gaza and the West Bank under the status quo of Israeli military administration.

If you're all so "indigenous," then why don't you all just go back to your homeland and stop subverting the rest of the world. If you did that, we really wouldn't care so much about the ongoing genocide.

Honestly I’m very confused. Many of us DID go back to israel, and you get mad at us for that. Now that we don’t, you get mad at us. If we went, you would still care about the “genocide” because we’re white colonizers now. You just hate Jews.

Avatar

"In the end they told us to go back where we came from, so that's what we did."

I'd love to ask the anon: where EXACTLY do you think the Jews came from if not Israel? Please, where is the Jewish homeland if not the Levant???

"From the river to the sea", where do the Jews go?

Maybe they go back to where they came from?

Oh right!

Let's go back to Algeria

Where they cleansed us like bacteria

We still got 4 Jews in Syria

We should start checking Expedia

I hear 1% of the community, still managed to stay in Tunisia

And if we're really feeling introverted?

There's 0 Jews left in Libya

I mean maybe like

Maybe the canceled their anti-jewish laws?

Maybe they're down for the cause?!

Maybe to Egypt? They got 3 Jews, give 'em a round of applause

Maybe back to Sudan? Where there's no evidence of Jews alive

Or Iraq, where there where 140,000 once, and now there's 5

Wait, they probably left out of their own will, it was their choice

And probably not because somebody flipped and then drove em out, like a Rolls Royce

They squeezed them a little, but in the right places, like tights

Where they couldn't work? Or go to school? Or own property? And had no rights?

There were 55,000 in Yemen! Now there's 10, maybe they'll want us back?

In Uzbekistan, they're at 5%, cause they ran us out like a running back

And Lebanon became Lebanon after most of them chose to flee

From 20,000 to 30, and they can't even practice publically

The Jews in Iran left the driver door open and skirt'd that shit like a murcielago

So did the ones in Bahrain, Afghanistan, 99.2% of Morocco

What about Krakow? In general Europe seems pretty tight?

Last time we were in Europe they killed 6 million of us?

Right..

And that's what ethnic cleansing looks like And we're not out here making a scene

And Meanwhile in Israel the Muslim population multiplied by 15

But the Gazans couldn't have 5x under "genocide" or else god forbid

In the end they told us to go back to where we came from, so that's what we did

“stop subverting the rest of the world” makes me think of this comment I saw yesterday. it was a reply to a woman saying there are only 16 million Jews in the world.

“+ USA + Europe not even enough for you” is this dude believing that Jews actually secretly control the US and Europe and are thus trying to take over everywhere. in reality, this is nonsense, and very old antisemitic rhetoric. to him, it’s an obvious truth about Jews’ unfair omnipotence. that’s how conspiracies work.

“stop subverting the rest of the world” is verbatim “Jews will not replace us,” just dressed up in leftist language.

Idan made it catchy, but listen to what he’s recounting, and remember there are centuries’ worth of that history. it doesn’t matter where we are, where we go, it’s a matter of existing at all that becomes the problem.

I’m really frustrated with how this is becoming an omni-issue; I can’t go to my feminist bookclub because this month’s book is about Women’s Rights in Palestine — I read the first chapter and it completely disregards the imperialism that drove Jews into diaspora in the first place. I can’t go to my queer bookclub because this month’s book is about Queer Rights in Palestine, and it’s full of Holocaust inversion. My town doesn’t have enough Jews for a minyan, or enough Muslims for a Mosque, or any ties to Israel, but it had dozens of people show up to a protest for Palestine outside city hall. I think it would frustrate me less if there were some sort of actionable goal to it all, but it’s pure stupidity to think that the city hall of our rural Canadian town could negotiate a ceasefire; they’re choosing to be angry for the sake of righteous anger, instead of actually doing anything useful. These people didn’t care about women’s rights on October 7th, they don’t know the first thing about Jewish history, they don’t care at all about the hostages, and it’s really alienated me from progressive spaces; my values haven’t changed, but my friends aren’t who I thought they were, and I wish every day that I had a Jewish community to belong to.

This was created by an Israeli artist & activist whose family fled persecution in Tunisia & Iraq. Please ditch the "Israelis are all white colonizers, and Israel is Bad for everyone who isn't religious and white" nonsense.

wow that's so cool I bet there isn't any really famous violent and eugenicist Israeli state policy that targeted Ethiopian Jews specifically. I won't do any research on this!

me when I know what sarcasm is

I honestly can't make fun of the rest of this post they basically defend the racist forced sterilizations of refugees by going "well it's still better than what they were fleeing" actually evil

and if you're saying "omg og OP won't do research" chances are they have ^_^ and you're just self projecting at this point.

me when your fave knows how to read so it makes them actually evil

OH AND BY THE WAY, SWEETIE!

The narrative from many so-called American progressives is that Israel is a racist state. Many Israel-haters have jumped on this accusation of forced sterilization as proof of Israel’s racism. But what is the truth?

What Really Happened

From 1977 to 1991 Israel rescued thousands of black Ethiopian Jews and resettled them in Israel; more immigrated to Israel in the 2000s. Israel granted them citizenship and took steps to integrate them into Israeli society. Today the population of Ethiopian Jews in Israel is 135,000-strong, with many of them born in Israel. In the late 2000s, reports appeared in the Israeli media that claimed that injections of Depo-Provera, a long-acting contraceptive, had been forced on hundreds of female Ethiopian immigrants. The contraceptive effects of Depo-Provera last only for about three months. A small number of Ethiopian women received the Depo-Provera injections every three months for a while. An Israeli TV reporter asked a group of women who had received these injections if they were able to conceive after stopping the drug. All said they were.Israel-haters who say that Israel tricked black Ethiopian women into being sterilized are wildly wrong. At worst, these women received temporary birth control medication.

But were they appropriately informed about the nature of the injections they received?

Some of the Ethiopian women received these injections in transit camps in Ethiopia as they awaited transport to Israel. Many of the injections were administered by non-Israelis. Others received the injections in medical clinics after they arrived in Israel.

A small group of these Ethiopian women reported they had been tricked or coerced into accepting these injections. In 2016, Israel’s State Controller conducted an investigation into the matter. The investigation concluded that the women had not been coerced into taking the injections. But doubts remained. Critics of the investigation pointed out that the State Controller had not heard testimony from the alleged victims, and that questions remained about the role of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, the organization that had cared for these women in the Ethiopian transit camps.

Years after this incident we know that no Israeli government agency or private clinic sterilized patients against their will. For the Ethiopian women who received temporary birth control injections in Israeli clinics, it is hard to judge whether there was an element of coercion. The women who received the injections were uneducated and did not speak Hebrew—-so it is not surprising that miscommunication occurred in some cases. In the transit camps some women may have felt obliged to please their caregivers in order to smooth their journey through the immigration process. Once in Israel, medical personnel may have administered the shots based on the medical records from the transit camp.

What We Know

It is possible that some clinic personnel applied inappropriate pressure on the Ethiopian women or failed to take the time to inform them adequately about Depo-Provera. If so, this is a case of poor medical care, not a racist plan to sterilize black women.

The charge of involuntary sterilization makes no sense. If Israel wanted to limit the Jewish Ethiopian population why did they spend millions of dollars to bring tens of thousands of Ethiopian Jews to Israel in the first place? And why did they then provide the new immigrants with housing, free health care, and schooling for their children? And if Israel’s aim was population control, why did they extend the state’s generous child welfare allowances to these Ethiopian immigrants, a practice that encourages large families? The final proof of the absurdity of the forced sterilization charge is that, since their immigration, the Ethiopian population of Israel has grown in leaps and bounds.

Israel’s operations to bring Ethiopian Jews to Israel had its intended success.

The irony in all this is that, while Israel has never practiced involuntary sterilization, many other countries have. The examples below are just a small sampling.1

A Disingenuous Magnifying Glass

There are many Israel-haters in the world today. These haters take a magnifying glass to Israel. They ferret out every hint of human rights abuse, they distort and exaggerate the evidence, ignore context essential to understanding Israel’s actions, and engage in out-and-out lies. At the same time, these Israel-haters turn a blind eye to the many countries in the world that are true human rights abusers.

False accusations of compulsory sterilization by Israeli clinics is but one manifestation of this phenomenon.

Israel is like the younger child who behaves well but is perpetually blamed by his parents for the misdeeds of his older brothers. Eventually Mom and Dad figure out what is going on.

Hopefully the human rights community and the wider world will figure out the true story about Israel and the slanders against it.

At the end of 2018, the population of Ethiopian origin in Israel was 151,800 residents. Approximately 86,900 were born in Ethiopia, and 64,900 were Israeli-born with fathers born in Ethiopia.

"if there's a bad policy towards ethiopians in Israel, like we have fought for progress on others policies in the past - would be happy for us to take it on as well to change it for the better" is LITERALLY in the tags. You must have been fun at libraries

Oh, and hey Hamasniks, you fucking RACISTS, instead of talking over Ethiopian Jews, why don't you listen listen to what Ethiopian Jews have to say. But we know you won't because you Leftists are racist, Orientalist bigots.

Oh and also you morons, it is COMMON PRACTICE in refugee camps to give women contraceptive measures. This is well established. So the whole thing about "Jews sterilizing Ethiopian women" is pure Jew-hate and anti-Israel conspiracy theory bullshit. The fact that you don't know that just shows how little you know about history.

If I see one more anti Zionist here try this bullshit. -stop patronising Jews of Color and believe them when they tell you what their reality is like.

They won't listen to Jews of Color, because that would mean actually acknowledging that they've been a bunch of racist, privileged asshats who've been talking over minorities and not actually doing a damn thing to help the people they supposedly champion.

Hezbollah only handed these pagers to members of their own terrorist organisation! Not a single civilian!

Source: ya boy Nasrallah himself

I want to point out that “every single Israeli soldier” is a code they like to use for “every Israeli” due to mandatory conscription, and is why they’ve justified everything from Hersh’s murder (he was a medic, and his service was over. he was not a combatant, and certainly not while being held in a tunnel underground for eleven months with his arm blown off, starved, tortured, and then shot in the head), to burning to death and kidnapping and raping the girls from Nahal Oz (they were unarmed observers), to murdering elderly people (because they served at one point in time. again, veterans are noncombatants), to killing children and demonizing Kfir Bibas when he was still only nine months old (because he’s a “colonizer” and guilty of being in the military even as a baby).

the wildfire spread of disinformation and utter refusal to read factual reporting regarding this operation (and countless other things that have happened) is extremely concerning. they’re repeating outright lies and absorbing them as reality, which then further fuels their paranoid hatred, their desire to enact violence, and to justify why slaughtering Israelis and Jews is leftist praxis and totally righteous. this IS our generation’s version of the Protocols, and every day it transmutes and shifts to add new blood libel and conspiracies.

A lot of young people on the Left really, really underestimate and don't understand just how intrinsically tied into the world of western politics that support of Israel and Zionism is. And good lord, it makes a lot of you come across as frighteningly naïve.

This is not something that your average politician can denounce on a whim just because they feel like it or they're personally opposed to it, I assure you that plenty of Democrats who formally support Israel are privately against its actions.

You guys don't understand how rooted Israel is into the establishments of the western world, and not just America.

This is not solely an American issue. Sure, America is by far the most tied into Israel, and I'll dive into why (in bare detail, because there are a lot of journalists far better at it than I am), but you guys have to understand just how fundamental an issue it's become to the webs of power.

Let's dive into this a bit further underneath the divide, because it's something really worth looking more into if you have a tough moral constitution (to hold back the disgust and outrage this will make you feel) and some spare time;

Boy, that really is long! Here, let me give you a helpful infographic that contains much of the same information!

Or, if you want it in a book format, there's a classic work out of Russia to recommend!

@primalinfinity Grading you on the curve of sophistication and coherence, your reskinning of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is actually pretty damn good. I'd give you props, if it weren't such a transparently bigoted and hateful little project you've embarked on. For instance: "Like any weed, like any cancer, removing Israel and Zionism is going to require sustained, surgical effort and scrutiny." My, that certainly sounds familiar. "I want so fucking many of those zionist pigs guillotined." They're pigs you want dead, huh? Weird. That, too, sounds familiar. "The more we understand every face of these monsters..." Monsters! Man, I'll bet they've got, like, monstrous noses, too, amirite? Now, I know that if you reply with anything other than a block, it's likely to be more of your bullshit whining about 'weaponized hate speech/antisemitism accusations', and that'll play well with your bigoted Palestinian 'ally' fellow-travelers. But no matter how effectively you lie-and compared to most of those fellow travelers, you're doing a pretty good job of lying-nothing will change the fact that you're straight-up echoing the worst, most virulent hatred of the 19th and 20th centuries here, and fuck you for that. If you actually adhered to the principles you claim motivate you, you'd cop to this now that it's been brought to your attention. It wouldn't even mean that you would have to back off of your opposition to Israel, it would just mean an admission of 'hey, using outright dehumanizing language about a whole group of people is bad, and leads to bad outcomes, and I shouldn't do it!' That would be a remarkable expression of integrity amidst this parroting of some of history's worst, blood-soaked bigotry. That's why I think it's pretty fucking unlikely. But I'm always ready to be wrong.

You're doing my job for me here

we struck 1 (ONE!) military target overnight, which resulted in 4 total casualties, ALL SOLDIERS, after two drones were launched from syrian airspace towards Eilat.

anyways do these people think that the israeli military sees big news breaking in america and then frantically presses the "kill babies" button? at least with the superbowl and the met gala, those events were known in advance so you could argue (however stupidly) that israel planned their attacks to coincide with them, but the only person who knew about the assassination attempt in advance was the assassin himself.

I hate to break it to you, but this is exactly what’s happening (from both far right and far left).

(that wasn’t a Kabbalah bracelet btw, it was US Army related).

among other highlighted conspiracies:

  • Jews or Israel are Responsible

In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Goyim Defense League founder and leader Jon Minadeo hosted a Spaces on X titled “JEWS TRY TO ASSASSINATE TRUMP!”

Unsurprisingly, users throughout white supremacist spaces blamed Jews for the shooting. One user wrote, “Jews have a very long history of political assassination,” and another wrote, “I can't believe it, jews were mad becouse they couldn't beat him with cheats this time lol, Amercia is screwed” [sic].

Antisemitic conspiracy theorist Stew Peters baselessly asserted that Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, is among the “early suspects” in the attack. Anti-Zionist activist Sulaiman Ahmed wrote on X, “Opinion: Israel shot Trump to install Nikki Haley.”

White supremacist Nick Fuentes posited two possible theories for the shooting, one claiming that Israeli intelligence carried out the operation to replace Trump with a candidate who would “support Gaza/West Bank Annexation and expansion of the war into Lebanon and Iran.” In a Spaces session on X, Fuentes further expressed his suspicions that Israel was responsible for the shooting because they want a “more favorable advocate in the White House.”

On July 16, CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad tweeted a link to a CNN story about the Secret Service being on high alert in the weeks before the attempted assassination due to a potential threat on Trump's life from Iran. Awad commented on the story, which does not mention Israel: "Are you sure this is not an Israeli plot to ignite another war between the US and other countries in the Middle East at its behest?"

When the “activists” who have made Palestine their entire personality for months - happily engaging in vicious and virulent antisemitic and violent rhetoric for the “cause” - inevitably move on to the next cause when they get bored, just like they did with Ukraine, they’re not going to give one tiny shit about the damage they’ve done, about the betrayed and traumatised people they leave in their wake - the friendships they’ve destroyed, the trust they’ve broken, the beatings and the rapes and the targeting of places of worship and memorials caused by the absolute bollocks they’ve been spouting. They’ll forget that they turned on people who were grieving and shell shocked and spat in their faces. They won’t care that instead of offering support and comfort to a people coming to terms with the worst attack against them since a genocide decimated their population less than a century ago, they instead unironically parroted literal Nazi and terrorist propaganda blaming a people who make up 0.2% of the planet’s population for all the evils of the world.

They’ll move on. They’ll believe they had moral justification for everything they did and then, they’ll move on, believing themselves to be good people who “care.”

I won’t ever forget the naked hatred I’ve seen. Not ever.

You know, if you come out with an ass backward sentiment like "I support Jews, they are welcome in my space, I'm totally against antisemitism - I hate those Zionists though," (when a good 80-90% of Jews identify themselves as Zionist in its most basic terms of believing a Jewish state has a right to exist on their indigenous homeland), then no, you do not support and welcome Jews. At all.

You only care about the ones you can tokenise and hold up as evidence of your supposed support. You don't actually care about them as human beings, about their complex emotions and feelings about Israel, or how important the history of that land is to their people hood, their culture, their traditions, and their faith.

If you only support Jews who will totally disavow that importance and expect them not to care about the suffering of their own people, then sorry not sorry, you're antisemitic as all fuck, I don't care what you tell yourself.

I’ve run across several goyim lately who were genuinely shocked to learn that 1) not only have they been fed a pack of lies about what Zionism is, 2) there’s more than one kind of Zionism.

So I thought I’d lay them out. I’m going to attempt to be as neutral as possible, so if you’re going “wow, that kind of Zionism is awful! Why isn’t Nina acting totally disgusted by it?”, it’s because this is an attempt to inform, not evangelize.

BASIC ZIONISM: all other forms of Zionism build off this one. Basic Zionism means you agree that the folklore, literature, calendar, and lifeways of Jews (not to mention a whole slew of archaeological evidence) meet the burden of proof that Jews are indigenous to the Levant, and that as an indigenous people we should have the right to self-determination in our indigenous homeland.

KAHANIST/EXPANSIONIST ZIONISM: this form of Zionism, pioneered by Meir Kahan, says modern-day Israel should encompass every piece of land that ancient Israel and Judea encompassed at any given time in antiquity, even if it was a temporary holding. (These were the ancient Jewish states.) This would entail all of modern-day Israel, the West Bank, most of Jordan, and tiny slices of Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. (Weirdly, although the Kahanists consider Gaza to be part of Israel, a chunk of land in roughly the same place was actually Philistia. It’s off by something like 50 miles, but after 3000 years I don’t feel like 50 miles is so much.) It also states that Jews are the only people who should be living there, and that expansion beyond these borders is a desirable goal. This form of Zionism explicitly allows for and sometimes even encourages violence. It is the closest thing on this list to the goyische definition of “Zionism” you’ve heard floating around Tumblr and college campuses.

TWO-STATE NO-RETURN ZIONISM: Two-state no-return Zionists recognize that the people who now call themselves Palestinians deserve the basic dignity and humanity due to all people, but consider a right of return to Israel for Palestinians dangerous. Two-state no-return means the West Bank and Gaza would become Palestine, and the land that’s currently Israel would remain Israel. Most two-state no-return Zionists draw their lines for these land parcels along the 1967 borders. If you’re wondering “why 1967? Wasn’t Israel founded in 1948?”, yes, and the day it was founded eight other countries invaded to try and take it over as an Arab-colonized ethnostate. This did not go well for those eight countries, but Egypt made off with Gaza and Jordan took the West Bank, so going back further than 1967 means "still no Palestine, it's Egypt and Jordan now."

TWO-STATE WITH RETURN ZIONISM: like the above, but with Palestinians having the option to seek citizenship in Israel on the basis of non-Arab Palestinians also being indigenous to the region.

TWO-STATE VARIATIONS: in the interest of full disclosure, this is where I fall—I think there should be a three-state confederation (think like the EU, but smaller). Why three states? Because historically we’ve seen that when a single country is split in pieces like Palestine is, it has a hard time defending itself and the single country will end up becoming two countries anyway. Iran would be a very real threat to a fledgling Palestine, so each part having a separate military would be in their favor. As for other variations, there are many; if someone says they support a two-state solution, they may or may not mean one of the two options above, because there are many ways, good and bad, to make two-state work. The only constant is that two-state means there’s both an Israel and a Palestine. And yes, if you support the idea that both should exist, you’re a Zionist.

ONE-STATE WITH RETURN ZIONISM: the West Bank and Gaza get absorbed into Israel. Palestinians are now considered Israeli citizens.

ONE-STATE NO-RETURN ZIONISM: the West Bank and Gaza get absorbed into Israel. The Palestinians are expelled in spite of non-Arab Palestinians also being indigenous to the region. I feel like this one is more of a pipe dream for a few bigots than it is any kind of serious position—there are seven million people living in Palestinian lands, and about two million Israelis who are from non-Jewish ethnic groups. Like, you’re not just gonna kick them all to the curb, it’s not going to work.

EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN ZIONISM: all the Jews need to go back to Israel and destroy Al-Aqsa mosque to rebuild the Temple, because fundamentalist doctrine teaches that when they do the Rapture will begin. 144,000 of them will realize the error of their ways and convert to Christianity on the spot, and the rest will be thrown into hell. Fundamentalists neither know nor care where Palestinians come into this. For that matter, they don’t even really care about the Jews, except as a convenient theological prop.

I’m pretty sure I’ve covered all the basic forms of modern* Zionism here, although certainly there are further variations. If you’ve been confused how over 80% of Jews could support Zionism: now you know. For the vast majority of us, it’s not about making Palestinians suffer—it’s about trying to live peacefully in a land where we have existed for 3500 years, and where, before we were Jews, we were Canaanites. Our roots there predate written language. We just want to keep them there.

*historically, Zionism was built around what kind of country Israel should be, not what its borders should be.

Well its happened, the face eating leopards have eaten the face of an antizionist jew, for talking out about holocaust denial and minimization

So this all stems from a black content creator talking about how little genocides affecting black folk get talked about (which is true, they do deserve to be spoken about) however in the video, she questioned the amount of jews killed in the holocaust, and minimized the holocaust."The Holocaust wasn't that bad it's used a tool of indoctrination, we need to look at things in perspective" quote from the creator.

Yuval, a Jewish content creator called her out for holocaust denying and minimization. Yuval is also staunchly antizionist. Like made a whole video throwing other jews under the bus by saying no antizionism is ever antisemitism.

Now, simply because he spoke out about holocaust denial, he is getting labeled a zionist, having words he did not say shoved in his mouth, and is now considered a "bad jew".

And honestly? It's fucking terrifying. Even as a zionist jew, it is terrifying. Calling out what most antizionists would consider to be antisemitism, now makes you a bad jew and a zionist. Jews have already been silenced when talking about antisemitism, but now it's full scale. You can't even talk about blatent antisemitism without being silenced.

I would not be surprised if we see a full scale pogrom happen in the nest future.

Zionist has officially lost is meaning of thinking a Jewish state should exist, it's now a word for any jew who thinks antisemitism is bad. It is so close to becoming a proper slur.

so much of the harassment and abuse i’ve faced on social media since october has been from people who said that if i wasn’t a zionist (which i’m not) then they wouldn’t have to harass me. it was only because of my alleged zionism that they just HAD to send me messages saying they were glad my nonna was dead, doxxing me and calling my old job, telling me to kill myself. if only i had chosen to be antizionist, then they wouldn’t need to do all these things. because telling a random disabled trans jew in america living below the poverty line all the different ways you want them to be raped is antizionism, NOT antisemitism!

this situation is really validating for me the fact that it doesn’t matter how vocal we are about our opposition to the israeli government. it doesn’t matter what we do in support of palestinians. yuval has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for a palestinian family by using his large platform and speaking out. and yet the second he calls out misinformation and blatant antisemitism, he is a zionist.

so the question is, what do jews have to do to be good enough for you? how far do we have to go? because the things people are citing — his nationality, where he has family — are things he has no control over. so it sounds like there really is nothing we can do except entirely denounce all other jews and use the happenstance of our identity to spend the rest of our days defending the most virulently antisemitic rhetoric thrown around by antisemitic antizionists. and even then i don’t think it would be enough.

Herzl: hey check out this novel I wrote about how cool it would be to have a society where Jews and Arabs and Greeks and Armenians all came together in the Levant to live as equals in a thriving multicultural society and revitalize the land after the ravages of the Ottoman Empire!

anti-Zionist: ZIONISM IS A RACIST IDEOLOGY THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT REPLACING INDIGENOUS ARABS WITH JEWS EVEN HERZL ADMITTED IT WAS ABOUT COLONIALISM

Just saw someone say that Hitler was a Zionist.

No he was not. He did not send us to have sovereignty in our ancestral homeland he sent us to die in gas chambers. What is wrong with you.

"The Jews domination in the state seems so assured that now not only can he call himself a Jew again, but he ruthlessly admits his ultimate national and political designs. A section of his race openly owns itself to be a foreign people, yet even here they lie. For while the Zionists try to make the rest of the world believe that the national consciousness of the Jew finds its satisfaction in the creation of a Palestinian state, the Jews again slyly dupe the dumb Goyim. It doesn’t even enter their heads to build up a Jewish state in Palestine for the purpose of living there; all they want is a central organization for their international world swindle, endowed with its own sovereign rights and removed from the intervention of other states: a haven for convicted scoundrels and a university for budding crooks."

— Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf

Hitler made his stance on Zionism very clear. It's insulting to have Hitler's motivations rewritten so he can be used against Jews. And even moreso, it's frightening how often I hear the points in Mein Kampf repeated point for point by activists claiming to fight for equality or to be against genocide.
