Hey there dear anon... THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I am really so glad you like this AU of mine, as an artist i fell in love with the masterpiece that is Arcane so when I thought at something for a redesign (and after months and months of failed attempts)... this came to my mind and, ghawd, it suits TMM so well.

Science that meets magic, the corruption of science to empower human beings, the fight between the marginalized and the wealthy for a better world and to reclaim a land... not to mention the aesthetic.

So glad you enjoy it, so, in order to thank you and to keep this AU alive, here's some preview-study of Masaya's character, he is coming veeeeery soon

👽 Tart - Tokyo Mew Mew | Arcane redesign AU

(BIO) A kid thrown into a battlefield. Tart is the result of what a young and pure soul could become when got face to face with a war: broken and corrupted, toys becomes weapons and the games of hide and seek turn into real fights. 

Besides poverty, Tart hasn’t felt sad or lonely one day in his life: Quiche and Pie found him, in the muddy streets of Zaun, a foundling, and raised him as he was their own brother, filling his life with the affection of a family. And outside home, there was Bu-Ling, an orphan like him, that soon became his best and closest friend, his ray of sunshine, even in the darkest days. 

But even if you run from it, reality still arrives: the day Deep Blue and his anarchic army knocked at the door of Quiche and Pie, with promised of freedom and vengeance against the rich Piltover, Tart has no choice but to join his adoptive brothers, role models to him, saying goodbye to his childhood, the toys left abandoned on the floor, and his playground friend… now an enemy to defeat.

(BIO) The perfect and best soldier of the anarchic and violent army of Deep Blue and his most loyal servant, it seems that to understand who Pie really is it takes just a quick look at him: his facial features hardened by pain and his eyes almost as cold as his heart. 

Behind his unbreakable armor, he hides a soft spot for his almost-brother  Quiche and Tart and and for his childhood friend, Retasu: the afternoon in the sunset spent with her, under a bridge, reading and daydreaming of helping their people thanks to the progress, were the only stolen moments when the future seemed brighter and made he believe to have “something to protect”.

But the long distance from his friend, top student and apprentice scientist in Piltover, along with the deterioration of the living condition in the City of Iron and Glass, broke Pie to the point that he fully embraced his leader beliefs, whatever it takes, even if this will mean to become slave of the shimmer, that has poisoned for years the streets and the hearts of the poor people of Zaun.

(BIO) There’s no living soul in whole Piltover that does not know the model and face of the campaign of the City of Progress, Zakuro Fujiwara. That is why the public opinion was shocked at the news of her double life as a full time member of the Mew team, as a bio weapon empowered by the hextech technology.

As beautiful as it icy, Zakuro hides behind her being a loner, a strong sense of justice that makes her feel disgusted by the opulence she used to grew up and lived, using everything she has to oppose and fight the corrupted and rotten system in Piltover, that too often forgets about those in need. She’ll follow the example of Minto, an old fan and acquaintance of her, joining the Mew project, fusing her dna with the one of the gray wolf.

She’ll gain a perfect nocturne eyesight, supernatural strength and agility: when she uses the hextech energy to activate her whip, she is lethal, a shadow in the night.

🐵 (BIO) The streets of Zaun have no secrets for Bu-Ling: both her parents found dead when she was just a child, she had to learn how to survive on her own, so the little lanes of the City of Iron and Glass have been her own personal playground and her training field. Growing up, the little girl developed an uncommon agility that she uses to performs in her own little show - to gain some money to take care of her little brothers and sisters - or to steal from the wealthy citizens of Piltover. An attempted robbery that went wrong, made the girl face the Piltoverian justice… and the Project Mew: to avoid jail - and with the hope to become even stronger to help her family - Bu-Ling will accept with enthusiasm to fuse her dna with the one of Golden lion Tamarin. This match will increase her acrobatic skills and will grant her a superhuman agility, as well as the ability to capture every little vibration of the ground and to cause quakes with the power of her hextech rattles.

Colorful countdown

I was so hyped by the Hawkeye set photos that I made a quick overpaint of an old Kate Bishop fanart of mine, this time adding Clint himself - Jeremy Renner -  and updating her suit.

I can’t wait to see the amazing Hailee in action!

I grew up with Tokyo Mew Mew and since I am so hyped about the anime remake I had some fun painting the five colorful animal-girls with their new outfits.  Who was your fav? Mine was Retasu, I’ve always loved her design (I mean, come on.. MERMAID) and how amazing she grows from insecure and bullied girl to a strong and determined warrior when friends are in danger. (Plus, she and Ryou were one of my first ship ever).

And Zakuro! Smart, cool and with wolf-like appearance? PERFECTION!
