Damian Wayne when his Future child comes to the Present

A/N: This is Older!Damian. Let’s just pretend that Damian is still going to be Robin when he’s older

  • You hated Damian
  • With a burning passion
  • You thought he was annoying, arrogant and downright rude
  • He felt the same about you
  • Except he thought you were too sensitive and not dedicated
  • You were Jason’s adopted sister
  • He took you in when you were a little girl and he was still murdering people (not that he stopped but)

My Gift To You

Anon:  I was wondering if you could write an older Damian (maybe in his early twenties) celebrating his s/o’s birthday?…  Genre: Fluff. Words: 1,006

“Damian, please answer your phone,” you mutter into the receiver but it was his answering machine that replied.

It’s your birthday today and you’ve been getting calls and texts from your friends and family, but none from Damian. You kept your schedule free, hoping he got your message about dinner at your place. He’s been away since last week and you miss him.

You’re heading home from the store with a brown paper bag of ingredients. You’ve been calling him all day but he’s not picking up. You try to call him again just before you turn the last corner to go back to your place. You stop walking because he finally picks up.

Her power are make force fields. when she met Damian She tries everything to make him feel part of the team. After that, they try to get close to each other. Damian finally show his feelings towards her. they finally can tell they would’ve confessed sooner. It ends with a kiss…And the end.
Warning: Spoilers for Apokolips War if you haven’t seen it yet, fluff, a little angst if you look for it.
A/N: I couldn’t fit in all the details you wanted but I hope that you still enjoy! Thank you for the request :)
GIF not mine
Word Count: 1.7k

You were never great with expressing your feelings. Maybe it was from being shy your whole life or because being in this hero life meant that you had to put your feelings aside a lot. Even after joining the Teen Titans, you still found yourself blocking out your feelings. At least, until Damian became part of the Titans as well.

When he first arrived at the tower, it was obvious that he didn’t want to be there. Batman had sent him there to work on his people skills and by the looks of it, he was going to need to be there for a while. You didn’t mind - in fact you were glad that he was going to stick around the tower.

Keeping it Quiet - Bruce Wayne x Reader

Request:  Hi, do you think you can do a soulmate au with Bruce Wayne with an s/o that’s younger than he is? (About Dick or Jay’s age)

- I’m going to admit I wasn’t that sure about this request at first since I was trying to work my head around the age difference - adult life is a big difference in teen life. If the batfamily aged slightly normally (I made my own timeline ages ago) I have Bruce around 42-45 and Dick around 29. I had ideas though so *shrug* sorry if this is a bit of a mess.

Warning - 13 Year Age Gap (nothing illegal)

Soulmate AU - There’s a tattoo on everyone’s body somewhere that matches up to someone else’s.

Bruce was a little confused. He didn’t like being confused. He was Bruce Wayne, Batman, greatest detective alive (when Tim was sleeping). He was supposed to understand the universe. He decided to ignore his lack of a soulmate as the universe giving him one - he didn’t have to worry about someone else getting dragged into the fight. But he also had to live with the fact all of his friends had soulmates and were settling down to a degree. Hell, Clark had a ten-year-old kid.

He had hidden his soulmate tattoo from Tim, he didn’t trust him not to somehow locate the person. Bruce wasn’t sure if he wanted to find you or not, he could create some kind of finder just to keep tabs on you, but he also thought that would be incredibly creepy and he wasn’t fond of you finding out he’d known about you for years. He’d been watching. It was all too creepy for him.

He’d also hidden the tattoo from Damian. His poor angry son was bad enough at adapting to new crime-fighting members of the family. He viewed himself as Bruce’s only true family, and sadly Bruce didn’t trust Damian to react well to a new part of the family that would be permanent and completely connected to Bruce. He feared replacement. Bruce knew that. He didn’t want to make the same mistake with Damian that he had made with his other sons.

He didn’t expect to find his soulmate, but that was okay because he’d found a family anyway.

He didn’t expect to walk into the Batcave and find Dick sitting with a woman his age, that Bruce didn’t know. Especially since Dick was in costume but without his mask on.

“Oh hey, Bruce,” Dick said lifting his head slightly. He did a double take and started to panic. “Bruce! So, I know you have the no identities rules and everything, but I really needed some help with the case you gave me and I didn’t actually tell her.”

“Shhh!” you held her hand up to stop Dick talking, tapping at the keyboard for another minute before pushing it forward in annoyance. You groaned before turning the chair round to look at Bruce. “Too little too late, I already know, there’s no point being angry, he didn’t tell me actually, you were messy.” you had a gleam in your eye and seemed quite confident for someone facing his batglare.

“Messy?” he raised an eyebrow

“Messy.” you smiled and brushed your hair behind both of her ears. “Forensic’s Unit in Central City, you vigilantes are so lucky no one but myself seems to check all the blood at a crime scene. I mean, I knew Barry Allen couldn’t have been fighting Killer Frost, but his blood was where the Flash had been, same with Oliver Queen when I went to Starling - that man bleeds a lot, there is no way he’s okay. Same with your family. I was sent here to help Officer Grayson with a case that was similar to one in Central. Seriously, you guys need to stop leaving so many clues.” she looked pointedly at Dick

“Who are you?” Bruce felt himself smiling as he started to look at what you’d been doing on the Batcomputer.

“(Y/N), hi, nice to meet you Bruce Wayne, Batman,” she mimicked Dick’s awful Dark Knight voice when she said Batman and Dick started laughing. Bruce pulled his son aside as you returned to tapping on the keyboard.

“She’s obviously smart, but how long have you known her?”

“She’s been working with Barry for ages, quiz him if you want her life story. Wally introduced her to me a few months back, and she arrived in Bludhaven two days ago to help me in real life. I dragged her to Gotham with me since I needed a fresh pair of eyes. She figured out my identity, and I needed help, I should have given you a head’s up, I’m sorry.”

“Yeah, yeah…” Bruce started to watch you type.

“Got it.” you yelled, jumping up and pumping your fist in the air to grab Dick’s attention, “Your criminal is here!” you pointed to the map on the batcomputer screen.

“You’re the best,” Dick said, placing his mask on and jumping into action, leaving her in the cave

“Don’t forget it,” you yelled after him.

After meeting Dick Grayson, you felt your life shift into a new era. Sure, you’d helped the Flash guys out when they needed you, and you had been working with the Police for a while now, but Batman and Gotham was a whole other thing. More hardcore, more frequent, and a lot darker. You didn’t like to think about how many dead children and ruined bodies you’d helped find. It was taking all your energy to just keep your positive vibes aesthetic. You were twenty-nine, that was still quite young in your mind, and you were determined to stay bubbly and smiling till the day you died - no adult responsibilities would crush your spirit.

You’d removed yourself from the Batcave pretty quickly after being recruited to help the entire family. It felt weird, like Bruce was always analysing you or looking for a reason to kick you out. Instead, you removed yourself from the equation and worked from your fire escape. Getting a job with the GCPD was easy enough when you’d spent your life making connections in Police Departments. A few of the boys would swing around each night and you’d give them a location or run some tests to help them save time. You and Tim had started exchanging technology to see who could give the biggest upgrade. You never saw Bruce, he’d speak to you over the network they had - exchanging a few things, but you didn’t expect him to land on your fire escape.

“I need your help,” he muttered, the Batman voice making you jump slightly.

“What can I do?”

“Quick analysis of this,” he handed over a bag of what appeared to be dirt.

That was precisely what it was. Plain old dirt you’d find in any park. It turned out he’d grabbed the wrong thing off the ground in his hurry, and now the Batman was freaking out in your apartment.

“Okay, relax!” you yelled. Instead of just going to get the correct sample he wanted you to analyse, he’d started pacing, rambling and shaking slightly. “You are not in the right mindset to be punching anyone right now so sit down!”

“Damian!” he protested.

“What about Damian? You haven’t said a complete sentence in the past fine minutes!”

“Damian was taken, I don’t know who by or where, I just know his comm is down and we can’t track him. The park was his last location.”

“Then let’s go!” you shouldered a bag filled with stuff you’d need and shoved your keys into your jacket pocket.

“What?”

“Come on, man, get your head on straight. Take me to the park so I can see if I can help.” you opened the door, took out your phone and used an app Tim had given you to start flicking through Gotham security.

“You can’t go.”

“Stop me then.” you rolled your eyes. “Or at least get on your own way and do something to save your kid instead of freaking out here.” He didn’t respond, just pulled you back into the apartment, grumbling, and took you out of the window with him.

Dick had talked to you about flying before. He’d said how exhilarating jumping out of a window or off a roof was. You’d called him crazy despite the fact you had been a parkour enthusiast in college. You knew what it was like to jump stupid heights and run on the edge of a roof. Travelling through Gotham via grappling hook was something else though. You were clapping, reaching out your hands, very tempted to whoop - the only reason that you didn’t, was because you didn’t want to draw too much attention to yourself.

Bruce didn’t want to admit how pretty you were. Landing in the park, looking at your face after he’d dropped you to the ground. Your hair had been tangled slightly by the wind, your ears were red, but you were smiling so perfectly. You didn’t care about being in the park in your pyjama’s, only a shirt for a jacket. You were smiling, laughing to yourself, youth radiating off you. He felt awful. You definitely weren’t a kid, but everything about you seemed new and refreshing, untouchable to someone as damaged as him. Admitting you were pretty, intelligent, into similar things as him, would make him want to get to know you and drag you further into danger. But he couldn’t stop himself from following you as you worked.

You quickly scanned security footage again, watching what he’d already seen, before moving to examine the spot Damian had been standing before the camera’s went out. You dropped to the floor, carefully picked things up with tweezers, examined an area of the tree where there were dents he hadn’t noticed before. You twirled round to wink at him, using a travel analysis kit you owned to run a substance from the dent and cross-check it against locations Damian had already been.

“Hey, you young ones!” you yelled to a group of high schoolers nearby. “How long have you been here?”

“Why?” one of the boys scrunched up his face

“This is Gotham, I’m looking for someone.”

Bruce didn’t like the sympathy on each kids face. Everyone knew how difficult Gotham could be, and even with everyone he saved, people still died - vanished - too often.

“A few hours?” one of the girls shrugged

“You see Robin pass through?”

“Nah,”

“You see anything strange going on?”

“That van’s been here for awhile,” a different girl said without hesitation, pointing to an unlicensed van parked outside the gates

“How’d you know?” one of her male friends asked.

“Girls notice those things,” you answered for her. “Stay safe guys, don’t want any of you to get hurt and it is late.”

They nodded and you turned back to face Batman. Bruce had stayed out of sight in a tree. You held up one finger to communicate wait and walked towards the van. He wanted to tell you off for being so risky. You weren’t trained, you could get hurt if this van was dangerous. But Damian was the one taken. And you were just trying to help. He was only metres away. He then became confused when you just walked past the van and reentered the park, doing something on your phone.

“Give me a second.” you pursed your lips.

“Why do you do this, you could be doing almost anything, your bright, you learn quickly, why work for the police?” he couldn’t help himself from asking.

“My mum was an officer. She balanced being a single mother of two and trying to save Central City. She was my inspiration, my biggest fan, the best person I will ever meet. She decided the police wasn’t enough for her, as much as she loved it, joined the army, rose the ranks. Shot in action, paralyzed from the waist down.” You tapped away at your screen, “I went into police work to continue the work she loved the best I could. My brother was an adult when she went to fight so raised me from then on and went off to fight when she couldn’t. He saved a tonne of lives, came home for a visit and was killed by a meta who then escaped the police. I caught him and got hired instantly by Central CPD. It’s a way to be connected to both of them when I was always more of a science than a fighter.” you finally looked at him. You didn’t look heartbroken or distraught, you seemed at peace with the loss. Maybe that was what happened to people who dealt with their grief. He could learn from you.

“He’s there, no clue who those goons work for, but it’s the same person, same residue on the tires as the tree.” you transferred the map on your phone to his and smiled. “I’ll head to the cave to see if I can get you anything else, keep me updated.” you waved him off, and surprisingly enough, his crazy mindset from earlier was gone. He was going to rescue his son, and you were working from the cave to help him. Knowing you were there had made him relax, and he wasn’t quite sure what to make of that.

The rest of the night didn’t go smoothly. No one was relaxed, and everything was a bit of a panic. Bruce crashed into the Batcave with Damian in his arms, bleeding from four huge gashes across his chest and chocking on some black mush he didn’t seem able to cough out. His limbs were hanging off him like he was a doll, his eyes glassy and unmoving. You clicked that he must have been paralyzed then and summoned Alfred down. You didn’t wait for the butler to arrive before trying to help. You weren’t a doctor, but you’d been trained enough time through the years and you needed to work out what the black much was.

You shoved Bruce back from the body, tied your hair up and threw your overshirt off. You started working, analysing the goo on Damian’s cuts and the mush in his mouth as Alfred arrived, proceeding to help him stitch the boy up. You had full access to the Batcave’s supplies meaning you could easily make a cure up once Damian could breathe. First, you had to tip his head tot he floor so the mush could fall out, second, you needed to inject the cure, third, you needed to watch his vitals, fourth, you needed him to wake up from the paralysis and be okay. You broke the evening down into those four steps. Alfred had blood on hand if Damian needed it, but you were sure whatever was stopping him from waking up could be cured.

After three hours, thirteen minutes and twenty-six seconds, Damian gasped through his mouth (his nose had been working the entire time, but it still hadn’t been fun). His fingers were riggling slightly, feeling slowly returning to his body. He panted, muttering the words sorry father over and over before finally thanking you and Alfred. You felt honoured, you knew Damian didn’t thank many people, but maybe nearly dying had made him re-evaluate a few things.

Bruce took Damian to his bed before returning to you in the cave. It was about four in the morning, and you had to be working in two hours time.

“Is he okay, shaken up from a run in so close with death?” you asked, leaning against the table you had been cleaning before Bruce came back. With the cowl mask gone, and him just standing in human clothes, you finally put two and two together. Sure you’d known that Bruce was Batman, but you’d never properly seen the two as one person until then. He was tired, hunched slightly, scarred. Human. Bruce Wayne.

“Damian’s already died before. Running close to death is part of the job…”

“Do you want to talk about it?” you offered, not sure what else you were supposed to say to that. He started laughing and you regretted saying anything at all. “You don’t need to laugh at me!” part of you glowed inside. Even if you regretted speaking, seeing him smile made you go all warm and fuzzy. You had made the Dark Knight laugh!

“I’m not laughing at you, not at all.” he shook his head quickly, “But people have been telling me to talk to them for years while being hypocritical. The number of times Clark tries to tell me to talk to him when he refuses to talk about things just as much…hearing it from you is different.”

“Surely Alfred’s said it to you.”

“But Alfred’s my guardian, I can’t do what he wants me to do.”

“God! Playboy, billionaire, superhero, angsty rebellious teen.” you held up your hands like you were conducting an orchestra with the new title.

“Don’t you have somewhere else to be? How come you could just move to Gotham so easily?” He was still smiling, and now he was curious about you.

“I’ve never been much of a settler. All my school friends met their soulmate’s early on and it just feels odd to be the one single person in a room of couples. My mum finally died a few years back, wow, I should not have used the word finally then but like you know what I mean. She survived a lot and her time finally came. I’ve been looking for a place that felt right and Gotham did. But I should probably be heading home. Gordon’s expecting me at work in two hours and I need some sleep.”

You turned away from him and carried on packing up your stuff. The overshirt was gone, and the pyjama tank top meant your shoulders where bare. He almost jumped when he saw the soulmate mark just inside the right tank sleeve. His soulmate mark. You were his soulmate. But you were so much younger than him, so much happier than him.

He’d only tried to know you that night and felt such a strong connection, and you were his soulmate, so of course, he would have felt a connection. You settled in Gotham because it had felt right, because he was here. You had met Barry, Wally, and Dick, before finally meeting him - like the universe had been trying to get you two to connect through other people but never actually succeeded until now. He was screwed.

His soulmate would cause the press to have a field day. Especially since you were younger than him. He could only imagine all the awful things they’d say. She faked the mark and is a gold digger. Only using soulmark to get money off him. Secretly cheating on him with Dick. The press could get awful creative when they wanted people to read their articles. He couldn’t put you through that.

“Why don’t you just crash here tonight, there’s spare room, and we might as well get you one, who knows how often you’ll end up crashing here.” he felt himself saying anyway.

“Realy?” you raised an eyebrow at his tense body. He didn’t want you to think he was just saying it out of obligation so relaxed and nodded.

“I’ll also send Jim a message, he owes me a few, so I’ll tell him you’ll be off work for a day or two.”

“Thanks!” rubbed your eyes. “I need the break, to be honest, and a mansion is a very nice break. Lead the way,”

This dilemma was his to deal with, for now, his secret to keep quiet, but dipping you into the Wayne family life wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Assassin Departed - Damian Wayne x Reader

Ahhhhh! You guys are so wonderful! A couple of you asked for a part 2 for Damian’s soul mate AU so here it is! Thank you all so much for your love and support.

Damian Wayne x Reader: You are the soul mate of Damian Wayne who has found yourself caught in the clutches of the League of Assassin’s. With the help of your soul mate you concoct a plan that will free yourself from them for good.

Jason    Tim    Dick    Bruce   Damian p. 1

A year has passed since you first met your soul mate Damian Wayne. In that year of being with him the League has not stopped in their attempts to end you for your betrayal. Assassin’s try to take you both out at least once a week. Something clearly needs to be done to end this once and for all. You wanted to take out every enemy you came across but you are compelled to play by the bat rules out of respect for your mate. That means that you have to beat each and every Assassin that comes after you through nonlethal means. It’s utterly frustrating.

You and Damian are coming back from Jason’s wedding to his soul mate. It had been a long time coming for them. They held out on tying the knot even though they met before any of the other bat couples did. The wedding was sweet and you couldn’t help but to think of yourself and Damian being in that position one day.

Damian had been subtly taunting you all day with his secret glances, lingering touches, and soft kisses. It was driving you mad so when you got to your apartment naturally you were all over him. You were determined that he was going to fulfill his wordless promises.

When you get to the bedroom there is a mercenary waiting in the shadows. You spot him as you are tearing off Damian’s shirt and throwing it into a corner. Needless to say the mood was killed. You immediately got into a defensive position and pulled out a knife that was strapped to your thigh. The league must be desperate if they’ve resorted to sending mercs. Damian followed your lead and you and Damian fight side by side. Together you take down the merc and string him up down the street for the cops to find.

“Our dates can’t keep ending this way, Damian.” You say when you get back to your shared bedroom. He sits on the edge of the bed and sighs with his head in his hands.

“I know [Y/N].” He sighs. You sit by his side and place a hand on his thigh.

“I think I know how to end this once and for all. It’s a bit drastic though.” You say absently running your fingers over the scar you created on his shoulder all those months ago.

“What do you have in mind?”

Forbidden - Damian Wayne x Reader

Prompt: Can you write one where all of Gothams villians team up to raise the reader to destroy Batman, but she ends up falling in love with Damian and he helps her get out. (requested by anon)

“Robin! You have been a thorn in my side for far too long. It ends tonight.” You snarled drawing your blades.

“Ha! I’d like to see you try.” He taunted brandishing Batarangs in his hands. He threw them your direction. You managed to dodge one and knock another out of the air with your blade but you allowed one to graze your arm. You hissed at the sting of the blade and brought your hand up to press your hand against the stream of blood trickling down your arm.

“You’ll pay for that hero.” You spat.

“Bring it.” Robin challenged. With a loud cry you charged at him but just as you swung your blade towards him he threw down a smoke bomb and grappled away from you. You growled and coughed at the smoke.

“Well what are you waiting for, you stupid girl? Go after him!” Your guardian and trainer Deathstroke commanded as he fought with his own foe.

“Yes sir!” You called back and ran after the direction Damian disappeared in. You soon picked up on his trail and sprinted after his billowing cape. The two of you weaved in and out of alleyways until you came to a dead end. He stopped with his back turned towards you and you sheathed your sword in your belt.

“You followed.” Damian stated looking back towards you.

“I’d follow you anywhere.” You said softly. Damian turned around and you ran into his arms burying your head in his chest. Damian squeezed you to him and softly stroked your hair.

“I’ve missed you, Beloved.” He whispered kissing the top of your head.

“I’ve missed you too, my love.” You said looking up and resting your hand against his cheek. He leaned into your touch and you stood on the tips of your toes and gently connected your lips with his. You didn’t know how long you would have together so you wanted to make the most of every second.

“You’re hurt. You could have easily dodged that.” He whispered as you pulled away. You looked at the wound on your arm and shrugged.

“It looks better to my handlers if I come home injured. They seem to think I put in an effort when I come home needing stitches.” You explained. Your “family”, the majority of Gotham’s villains had lately been getting suspicious of where your true loyalties lie so you needed play up your battle with your secret lover to appease them. You hated fighting Damian but you didn’t really have much of a choice.

“Leave them, [Y/N]. Run away with me, Beloved. You don’t have to stay with them.” Damian pleaded gazing lovingly into your eyes. You shifted your gaze to the ground and pulled away from him wrapping your arms around your side.

“I can’t.” You insisted.

“I don’t see why not. You don’t belong with them, [Y/N]. You’re so much better than them.” He argued trying to take you back into his arms.

“As horrible as they are they’re the only family I’ve ever known. I don’t know if I can leave.” You said.

“[Y/N] what have they ever done for you other than force you to be something you don’t want to be?” Damian asked. You knew he was right but that didn’t make leaving any easier for you. Harley and Poison Ivy were like mothers to you and you would probably miss them the most. They were probably the only ones who showed even the slightest inkling of affection for you. The other rogues simply used you to meet their own ends in their plans to take over Gotham.

“I-I’ll think about it. Just give me some time alright?” You asked. He looked hesitant to agree but eventually nodded. “I need to leave now, my love. Deathstroke is going to get suspicious of my whereabouts soon and I need to get back before that happens.” You explained pulling Damian into a tight hug. He tilted your chin up and tenderly pressed his lips against yours. You closed your eyes and savored the feeling of his lips on yours, not sure when you would be able to feel him again.

“Come back to me, Beloved.” He whispered against your lips.

“My greatest foe, I look forward to the moment we meet again.” You responded pulling away from him. As you stepped away your hands remained connected until you reluctantly turned away to retreat back to where your handler was occupying himself.

Deathstroke berated you when you came back for not being able to capture and kill the Robin. If you couldn’t handle the simple side kick how could you be expected to destroy Batman when the time came, he argued. You took your reprimanding in silence mulling over the idea of finally running away with Damian. By the time you entered Poison Ivy and Harley’s apartment your mind was already made up. You had to leave, and you had to leave tonight. You couldn’t stand to be apart from Damian any longer. You didn’t want to hide anymore.

You texted Damian the address to meet you at and started to pack what little belongings you had into your backpack. You planned just to walk out the front door. Harley and Ivy usually didn’t ask where you disappear to anyway.

“Where ya goin’ suga?” Harley asked when she caught you with one hand on the door.

“School.” You lied readjusting your backpack on your shoulder.

“Okay! Have fun!” She said.

“Harley!” Ivy reprimanded. “It’s the middle of the night and she isn’t even enrolled in school.” Ivy reminded her and stepped between the door and you with her arms crossed.

“Oh yeah.” Harley said.

“Now tell us where you’re really going.” Ivy commanded.

“I’m leaving.” You said simply.

Where?” Ivy repeated.

“Away from here. I can’t be what you all want anymore! I don’t want to be a criminal anymore!” You yelled trying to push past Ivy.

“What? Why?” Harley asked.

“The girl’s in love, Harls.” Ivy stated as if it was obvious. You blinked in surprise and stuttered over your words.

“She is? Awww! Our little baby’s all grown up Ivy!” Harley cried excitedly

“Wait. You knew?” You asked incredulously. You had been so careful to hide any signs of your relationship with Damian. You were very thorough so you were surprised to find out that Ivy knew and never talked to you about it.

Of course I knew. It’s hard not to notice when you come home reeking of the same man’s testosterone every other night.” Ivy rolled her eyes,

“Who is he? Who is he?” Harley asked excitedly. “Oooh! Is it that nice pyro boy down the street or the Red Hoodie or whatever? He seems like a nice trouble maker to have fun with!”

“No. That’s why I have to go. He’s not like us, Harley. I’m sorry but I can’t do this anymore.” You said turning back towards the door. You had the door open and one foot out the door when Ivy’s final words froze you in your tracks.

“It’s Robin isn’t it?” She asked. You hung your head and hesitated walking out the door. That was all the answer Ivy needed to confirm what she had suspected for months.

“Eh, what can ya do? Love is love ain’t that right Ivy?” Harley piped up. “Have fun with the bird brain suga! Call us often! Oh and don’t get pregnant!” Harley shouted advice as you walked down the hall and out of the apartment building.

“They grow up so fast, Red.” Harley sighed resting her head on Poison Ivy’s shoulder.

“Indeed they do.” She agreed closing the door when you disappeared from sight. “The boys aren’t going to be happy that we let her go.” Ivy mentioned casually.

“Eh screw ‘em. What do they know anyways?” Harley shrugged tossing herself casually back onto the couch.

You quickly made your way across town to where you told Damian to meet you. When you got there he was waiting with his car running, ready for a quick getaway. As soon as you made eye contact you sprinted towards him and ran into his arms. You held him like you were never going to let go ever again.

“You’re late. I was so worried that something happened to you.” Damian whispered into your hair.

“Harley and Ivy caught me on my way out but they let me go. We’re free Damian!” You cried with happy tears brimming in your eyes.

“They caught you? But won’t they tell the others about us?” Damian asked with a worried frown.

“I don’t think so, not for a while anyway. They seemed happy for me but the others might not be so willing for me to move on.” You agreed. Damian pressed a kiss against your forehead and moved to rest his forehead against yours. His fingers dropped down to intertwine with yours.

“I will stop at nothing to protect you, Beloved.” He swore. You brought your hand up to rest against his jaw and you angled his face closer so you could bring your lips to his. The two of you kissed slowly brushing your lips together for some minutes before you pulled away.

“As long as you’re by my side, Damian, there is nothing we cannot do.” You swore with a free smiled gracing your lips.

The Princess and the Wedding

Prompt: Part 3 of Damian’s Soulmark series, because Damian is the definition of prince charming.

You find that it’s worse when you’re alone; when the room is dark and Damian isn’t around. You try to focus on anything else; a book, a movie, something. But nothing works. In the end, you end up in front of the large bay window of your hotel room, admiring the Gotham skyline.

In that moment, you allow yourself to close your eyes, and breath. You focus on the way the air fills your lungs, and the slight ache as it leaves. Then you focus on the pull. The little warm feeling that assures you that you’re not alone. You become so lost in it, that you never hear him approach, and by the time that needle finds a home in your neck, it’s too late to do anything. The last thing you see is Vertigo’s face.

In unconsciousness you find peace. Your mind drifts back to the cabin, to the explosion of emotion. You remember the way Damian’s lips feel on yours; slightly chapped but tender. You remember the way they had danced over your skin. And then you remember lying in front of the fireplace, wrapped in his arms.

“We have to find a way.” His voice was a whisper.

You had placed a kiss on his chest before looking into his eyes. You had found them filled with desperation and love. Love for you and desperate need to be loved. Snuggling closer you had simply said, “We will.”

Two days later the call from Vertigo had come, along with his ultimatum. Return to Gotham and marry him, or watch your mother die. The fear that had gripped you with that phone call had nearly made you sick. But Damian had wrapped his arms around you, and made you a promise, “We’ll get her back. We will get her back, and then we’ll figure out us.”

The plan had been simple, pretend to go along with Vertigo’s plan, from there Damian’s family would search for your mother. The galas and state dinners that had been lined up had bought you some time. You weren’t scheduled to go back to Kaznia for several weeks. That along with the pretense of disdain for the Wayne heir provided you with a cover that couldn’t be bought anywhere else.

But Vertigo had always been a sneaky bastard. So when you wake up, strapped into a chair on the royal family’s private jet, you know that the man had moved up his timeline. The smirk he gives you makes you want to claw his eyes out. Instead you dig your nails into the armrest.

Hours later you’re led off the plane under an armed escort. You find yourself thrown into your room at the castle, and what you see there makes you sick. The wedding dress resting over the chair is extravagant, gaudy, and something you’d never wear. And as you’re forced into it, your hatred for Vertigo grows even more.

You’re acutely aware of your surroundings as you are walked from your room to the throne room. The grip the soldier has on your arm is hard enough to bruise as he drags you down the aisle. Your eyes meet those of several of your mother’s cabinet. They’re covered in bruises, and Vertigo’s soldiers stand nearby, ready to shoot.

You scowl as you’re deposited in front of you husband to be. His smile is evil, as he simply asks, “Are you ready darling?”

“Ready to kill you? Why yes, yes I am.”

You listen as Vertigo takes his vows, and when your turn comes you’re certain that you’re going to be sick. You’re just forcing your mouth open when the doors to the room burst open.

Smoke fills the air, and there’s several grunts. You use the diversion to back away from Vertigo. You’re nearly out of the room when an arm snakes around your waist, and a hand clamps over your mouth. Before you struggle, a familiar voice says, “It’s me.”

You look into Damian’s eyes and you finally relax. Until you see the sadness in them. His voice is soft as he asks, “Where’s your room?”

Your heart sinks as you lead him through the corridors. Once you’re safely in, and the door is locked he explains. He explains how his family had been looking for your mother while you two kept an eye on him at the party. It was them tripping the silent alarm that made the Count move up his plans.

Your voice is soft, “What about my mother?”

Damian meets your eyes, his voice as gentle as can be when he says, “We were too late. Her injuries were too extreme. They were able to get her to the hospital where she was able to identify the Count as her captor and abuser. She died before we were able to get here.”

His words weigh you down, and you find that you have trouble breathing. You start pulling at the dress, and Damian quickly helps you out of it. You slide to the floor in your underwear, and Damian drapes a blanket around your shoulders.

You feel the tears slip down your cheeks, and you force yourself to take a deep breath, “I don’t have time to mourn. With my mother gone, I am the Queen.”

Damian nods, “What do you need from me?”

You stare at him, before taking his hand, “Will you marry me? I know it’s soon. But I’m young. I don’t know who I can trust and who I can’t. Marriage will bring stability, and I know it’s a lot to ask …”

He smiles, before pushing a lock of hair behind your ear, “Let’s go get married.”

You pull on jeans and a tee-shirt before walking with him back to the throne room. The smoke had cleared, and Vertigo and his followers had been tied up. Your mother’s cabinet, now freed, stood debating what to do.

You keep your voice calm, as you simply say, “My mother is dead. She lived long enough to give us the evidence needed to convict Vertigo. But as of now, I am the Queen of Kaznia.” You take a deep breath, “And my first act will be to marry my soulmate. Damian Wayne.”

You ignore the shock in their eyes as you step forward. Damian’s hand on the small of your back gives you the strength to stand tall. In perhaps the most unglamorous royal wedding ever, you and Damian Wayne are married. And as you promise your life to him, you can’t help but think that it fits the two of you perfectly.

The Princess and the Robin: Part 1

AN: Here we go again! This Easter I am bringing some updates to all your favorite stories! And some new starts, starting with part one of Damian’s soul-mark series. I hope you enjoy it!

Prompt that inspired this: Older!Damian imagine!(Like 18-20) Reader is a princess from a made up country and her dad is close w Bruce so WE hosts a huge celebration for her bday. But the party gets attacked or something and she’s forced to go into hiding w the Waynes and her parents are sent somewhere else. During her stay she & Dami really connect.W fluff and a beautiful bday gown the whole 9 yards! Im sorry this is so long but I’ve been thinking about it for a while(Maybe even a series or even the parents as ex-heroes?

    “Enjoying the party, princess?”

Your eyes slide to the man next to you. He’s taller than you, and a carbon copy of his father. He’s all dark hair, blue eyes, and olive skin. Three women had already swooned in his presence, but not you. You know better, you know exactly how dangerous it is to fall for the man in front of you. To do so would cost you everything; your kingdom, your people, and your family.

As you stare at him, you can’t help but wonder how different things would have been, had you been normal. If you’d had a say over your own life. You do your best to not entertain the thought.

    “Want to dance?”

You eyes narrow, “Not with you Damian Wayne. Not now, not ever.”

The smirk never leaves his face, even as he watches you walk away. You slip away from the party and into the bathroom. You struggle for breath, as you lock the door and pull at the strings on the back of the dress. You want it off!

When you can’t get it after several minutes, you slide to the floor, and try to catch your breath. Your life had been so different three months ago, you’d been set in your determination. You had known exactly what you were doing with your life, and exactly what was needed.

You had been in the states for a royal tour, and you’d been in Gotham for a Wayne Enterprises Gala. Things had been going swimmingly, right up until it had been attacked, and you had been kidnapped.

You were the heir to the Kaznia throne, your mother was Queen Audrey. You were an only child, and if someone were to remove you, then the throne would be open to the next in line, Count Vertigo.

The man was a snake, of that you were sure. He was slimy and manipulative, and he was determined to get his hands on the throne, and your people. Your mother was still young and healthy, but a series of accidents over the last several months had put you on alert.

There was little you could do to remove him from court, at the moment, but you were working on a more permanent solution. Then you had been kidnapped. It had happened in a storm of men dressed in black, with guns. You’d been whisked out of the theatre, before anyone could do anything.

You’d been held in a dark, dank cell for several days. You’d refused any food offered, and only drank a necessary amount of water. On the fourth day, things had taken a turn, for the better or worse you still weren’t sure, but your life had changed forever that day.

He’d appeared dressed in red and black, like a demon out of hell. He’d taken down the men guarding your cell, and picked the lock before you could understand what was happening. And then he’d said the twelve words you knew by heart, the words tattooed across your right hip, “If you’d follow me your highness, I’ll get you out of here.”

You’d spent hours staring at those words, from the moment they’d first appeared on your skin. You’d fantasized about the man who would say them, and more than once you’d gotten caught up in the daydream.

You’d dreamed about a young handsome man who’d whisk you away from a party. You’d stroll through a garden, he’d smile, and you’d blush. It would be like a story from a fairy tale. Instead, you’d gone four days without a shower, were dressed in a ripped ball gown, and you were being held against your will.

So, you say the only thing you can think of, “Why does it have to be a Robin?”

Jason Todd x Reader - “In The Pale Moonlight”

After a one night stand, Jason doesn’t seem to be able to get his mind off you. Desperate to get you out of his head, he hesitantly agrees to go to Wayne Enterprise with his brothers for work, as a response to scrutiny from the general public. What happens when the person he was trying to erase from his memory pops right back into his life?

Day One: Christmas Buns [Jason Todd x Reader]

Requested by anon: “The reader tries to tell Jason she’s pregnant during Christmas dinner (oh the buns? They are in the oven) in front of the batfam (ps I really really love your blog)”

A/n: Day One of the batfam christmas special has begun!! I hope you all love this fic! This request was adorable and I absolutely loved writing it. Also anon I don’t know if I said this before but it made my day for you to say you love my blog! Happy Holidays!! 💚❤️💚❤️ ____

You and Jason had discussed kids before and were planning on a family soon. You had been married for a little over a year and your mother was already badgering you about when she’d get to be a grandmother. She even began to prod Jason about it, which he would simply look at you and make some sort of comment to make you blush and hit his arms because it wasn’t appropriate to say in front of you mother of all people. However your mother found his comments quite entertaining.

Though, her prodding did begin to push you and Jason to begin trying. For the time being, condoms had become a thing of the past. However, attempts were futile for a while, but there was one morning where you woke up and had to rush to the bathroom after feeling nauseous. That led you to getting an at home pregnancy test and learning that you were in fact pregnant!

It was hard to contain your excitement and giddiness around Jason, along with the signs that you were pregnant. Deciding that you’d surprise Jason on Christmas when you went to the Manor for Christmas.

And damn could that day not come fast enough. You were unusually giddy that morning but Jason just chalked it up to it being Christmas Eve and this was one of your favorite times of the year. So he brushed off the excitement as nothing more than that.

Little did he know that you were planning to make your big announcement to him tonight at dinner.

When the time came for you to head to the Manor you were basically dragging Jason out of your apartment. Barely giving him time to put on his scarf and gloves to protect him from the brisk Gotham air. “Geeze doll give me a sec” He chuckled as he grabbed his keys and wrapped his scarf around his neck.

“Come on Jason! You take so long!” You whined from the front door, dramatically draping yourself against it. He chuckled and rolled his eyes when he caught up to you. “You’ve been spending too much time with Dick.”

You rolled your eyes before grabbing his hand and pulling him out of the apartment. He shut the door and locked it behind you both before intertwining his fingers with yours and heading toward the elevator. On the ride down to the first floor you hugged his arm, “I’m so excited for Alfred’s Christmas ham and cookies. And I know Dick will have hung up mistletoe everywhere so I have even more reason to kiss you.” You grinned up at your husband.

Jason chuckled and wrapped his arm around your waist. “You don’t need a mistletoe to kiss me.” A smirk grew on his lips. You chuckled and pushed up to kiss him quickly, but instead kissed his nose rather than his lips. He frowned down at you and causing a laugh to bubble from your throat. “You’ll have to get me under that mistletoe to get one on the lips.”

“Or I could just steal one.” He smirked again.

You poked him in the stomach, “You’re no fun.” He laughed before pulling you closer, “I’m plenty fun, what do you say tonight we have some extra fun and maybe finally get that other present we wanted.” You bit your lip to keep the smile from spreading on your lips. “Maybe” Kissing his cheek quickly before the elevator doors opened and you pulled him out and toward the front doors.

After the drive to the Manor you were quick to get inside and get warm. Spending plenty of time talking with the family and catching up since you last saw them. Which was only a few days prior. None of them seemed to realize you were a month along making you very proud of your ability to keep a secret from a family of late night detectives.

As dinner drew closer, your excitement began to boil over a little. You’d hug Jason’s waist or arm tighter. A large smile was always on your face. He began to become suspicious of your strange behavior.

When you noticed this you retreated to the kitchen to give Alfred a hand and before Jason could draw any hints at to what you were excited for. Alfred happily accepted your company and you helped him cut the ham and get things ready. With your help the food was finished a bit faster and you helped him set the table as well.

With everything set Alfred called the family to dinner and you happily sat in the chair next to Jason. He smiled at you before pressing a soft kiss to your lips. Earning a groan of disgust from Damian. “Must you do that over the food.” You simply chuckled, “You’ll understand when you have a girlfriend Damian.” The young man simply scoffed “I have no intention to have a relationship.”

You chuckled again, “We’ll see how you feel when you’re a teenager and that sex drive is out of control.” Countering and earning a snort out of Jason and laughter from the others. Even getting a chuckle from Bruce. The comment made a small tinge of pink paint the young assassins’ face.

Alfred came out of the kitchen holding the basket that was filled to the top with rolls. “I had forgotten to get the buns from the oven.” Alfred set them down before going to take his seat.

This was your chance. Smirking you slipped your hand in Jason’s before whispering as he took a sip of his water, “Those aren’t the only buns in the oven.” The comment caught him off guard, causing it to go down the wrong pipe, resulting in a coughing fit. Drawing the attention of his family. They all asked if he was ‘okay’ but he just stared at you wide eyed. “YOU’RE?!”

With a beaming smile you nodded, “Yes! You’re gonna be a dad!”

The entire family’s jaw dropped as Jason quickly stood and pulled you up with him. Hugging you tightly and kissing you before pulling away and resting his hands on your stomach. “How long?”

“A month” You chuckled and put your hands on top of his. “I’m surprised nobody figured it out. You are all detectives.”

Jason laughed before kissing you again. Soon the entire family had stood up and came to give you a hug and wish you congratulations. Everyone was ecstatic about the news. Steph squeezed you so hard Jason freaked out a bit because he didn’t want anything to hurt the baby. Making you roll your eyes and laugh, better get used to that now.

“This is the best Christmas ever!” Dick cheered before hugging you and wishing you congratulations. “If it’s a boy you’re naming it after me right?” He chuckled and you nodded before sarcastically answering “Wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Jason chuckled before he did something that seemed to shock everyone. He accepted a hug from Bruce. A wider smile made it’s way on your face at the sight, hearing Bruce whisper to Jason. “I’m so proud of you, you’ll make a great father.”

You swore you were going to cry hearing Bruce say that to Jason and the look on Jason’s face was priceless before he returned Bruce’s hug.

Chuckling you walked over and gave Bruce a hug as he congratulated you. You wiped away a couple happy tears on your sleeve before wrapping your arms back around Jason. His reaction and the families’ reaction was more than you could ever ask for. And from the rest of the baby talk that happened at dinner, you knew this kid was going to be spoiled!

What A Destiny Ch. 2

Jason Todd x Reader soulmate au

Series Summary: You’re not from this universe, yet you somehow ended up here… in a universe you’d always wanted to escape to, yet feared the consequences of. You’re not here by mistake but who’s to say?

Chapter Summary: You find out soulmates exist in this universe, and despite not being from this one, you’ve got a soulmate here… bad news is he’s banned from finding out about you.

Warnings: Shower in front of people, being forced to undress, feeling self-conscious.

Catch Up Here: Chapter One ,

A/N: It’s still Thanksgiving week but I found some time to crank out something I hope you guys will like! Thank you so much for the support on the first chapter, I honestly thought no one would even like this idea.

“Now, about Jason Todd…”

Telling anyone about everything I’d seen, witnessed, read and heard… well, it was too much. If they wanted a passionate answer, if they wanted all the gory details from me- they couldn’t expect it without some tears. I didn’t want to tell them about Jason, nor did I want to tell them about any of them- the ones I really knew about, the ones I could give the most detail on. Of course they’ve yet to tell me whether or not everything they’re forcing me to spew out is true here, but so far there haven’t been any objections, which can only mean I’m on the right track.

“Step into the room, please. We haven’t got all day… please.” She seemed to force a small smile with some hint to sympathy, however I couldn’t be sure. I didn’t really have enough time back home to learn much about the woman, but if one thing was for sure I knew that Diana was far more beautiful in person than  could ever be portrayed anywhere of the likes. I stepped into the room cautiously, as if trying to feel for some trap or if this was all a trickery they’d come up with to test me. “Thank you,” her words are barely audible, but still loud enough in the silent room for me to hear.

“Okay, now I already know you’re not gonna like this part because honestly, who would? But we need you to undress… completely.” I didn’t know if I could trust her. I also didn’t know her very well other than the flow of anger and strictness about her that was not only portrayed but seemed to flow from her. Dinah gestured up and down at my body, not making a move to take off my clothes which could only mean I was supposed to do this myself.

I bit my lip and looked up at Dinah, ‘are you sure?’ my expression told her, to which hers stayed the same, if not firming to show how serious she is. I glanced back at Diana, yet to see her eyes cast down in what appeared to me as guilt or embarrassment… or maybe both? I couldn’t be sure. I began by taking off my socks, which I was allowed but only because I couldn’t have shoes, which would make any attempts at escape more manageable… but honestly, who’s gonna try to frickin’ escape from the JUSTICE LEAGUE?! Like are you kidding me?
