Now, this is a lie because this picture was taken on the 5th. Today I sat and binge watched Friends literally all day. But this picture was edited today, if that counts for anything? Lol. Disneyland, my second home.

For Aesthetic Purposes Only by Jackie Nell Via Flickr: Website | Facebook | Tumblr | Twitter | Instagram | YouTube 118/366 I’m kind of lactose intolerant - ice cream is, unfortunately, one of the few things I can’t eat. This sucks for lots of reasons, but even more so when I go to Disneyland. Mickey Bars are wildly cute to photograph… but I can’t eat them! I’ve been working on a photo project for school for a little bit of time, and one of the photos I was going to have to take was a Mickey Bar + Castle shot. I tried to do this when I was with my friends… but shooting conditions never lined up. On Sunday, I had to take the photo, but it was a solo park day. I am sad to report that after I took my Mickey Bar on a little photo shoot, it wound up in the garbage. RIP. But hey, I got my photo?! Thanks for your views, comments, and favorites!
Imagineer Herb Ryman designed Sleeping Beauty’s Castle inspired by King Ludwig II’’s Neuschwanstein in Bavaria. The team created a model of the castle and Ryman was experimenting with the look of the building, he took the top of the castle (the pink part with the spires) and turned it around. Walt Disney walked into the room soon after and decided that that was the way to build it. So that part of the castle is actually backwards!
