🇺🇳🇺🇲 TOTAL GLOBAL DEBT WAS US$92 TRILLION AS OF 2022
TOTAL US PUBLIC DEBT IN 2022 WAS $31 TRILLION
MEANING THE UNITED STATES IS RESPONSIBLE FOR JUST A HAIR OVER ONE THIRD OF GLOBAL PUBLIC DEBT.
Understand that no other country on earth can print money and just spend it the way the United States does because the rest of the world doesn't have sovereignty over the World Reserve Currency.
If any other country attempted to print money and manipulate markets the way the United States does, first off we'd sanction them for having an independent policy, and secondly, it would rapidly result in runaway inflation.
But because the US has sovereignty over the World's Reserve Currency, the United States can and does manipulate markets and print money however it likes, and the rest of the world, especially in the Global South, are literally forced to subsidize this US debt by buying US dollars at horrible exchange rates that favor Western countries in order to do trade, oftentimes with countries that have NOTHING to do with the United States because that's just how the international system has been designed (by the US and UK) to force countries to trade in dollars using Western banks.
And this advantage is baked into the system itself.
This means foreign countries in the Global South are subsidizing the very Imperialism oppressing them, subsidizing the 900 or so US military bases around the world.
🇺🇲🇺🇦 US AMBASSADOR TO NATO PROMISES CONTINUED ENDLESS SUPPORT AND FUNDING FOR UKRAINE
In an interview with DW News agency, US Ambassador to NATO, Julianne Smith told DW US funding and support for NATO will continue at previous levels.
"We do have a situation right now where you have what's called a 'Continuing Resolution' in the United States and that resolution does not include any increased support for Ukraine," Ambassador Smith told DW.
"With that said, I think President Biden was right, with confidence, to say that the US will have additional support for Ukraine in the weeks and months ahead."
"We have to settle this budget issue, it is contentious, we've been through similar scenarios in the past," Smith continued. "But I think the President sent a very clear message to our partners and allies, and to the people of Ukraine, that the US leadership that we've been able to provide since the war started will continue."
"What you find is, so that where police killings are the most racist, is where poverty is most racialized, and where poverty is least racialized you even find sometimes disparities: in both South Carolina and Tennessee white people are killed at a slightly higher rate by police than their overall portion of the state's population and you see that like, and there's a lot of poor white people in both those states. Which means it's, that's what you're saying, that policing is primarily about class."
"Because yes there's racism, yes there's racist attitudes, you know you got the racial segregation all that this stuff places into, but it's like, if you pull out far enough, what you see is it is fundamentally about class. It's not that race doesn't matter, it's not that immigration status doesn't matter, those matter. But if you pull out the larger thing, the deeper animating thing is class rule and the management of a totally unequal, exploited class society."
"And part of this whole thing, is also you get the thing about the difference between exploitation and oppression right? People get very confused on those things and, you know, counterintuitively, frequently, you know I think history shows that the best ways of overcoming oppression and social pressure is by fighting economic exploitation."
- Christian Parenti on Midwestern Marx
We're literally living with Fascism right now. This very moment. We have 4.6% of the global population, 20% of the incarcerated world population. We don't make or export goods, we consume them and export guns, bombs and fighter jets. Corporations have melded completely with our government, which essentially acts as the military and paramilitary arms of Wall Street, the literal definition of Fascism as given by Mussolini.
Couple that with the so-called Liberal establishment now being infested by Nazi apologists, and it's pretty fucking clear Fascism is here, in America.
It's only a matter of time before brown shirts are dragging people through the streets while the blue shirts will ensure we can't fight back.
Glenn Greenwald really has an elegant way of destroying US Imperialist propaganda lies that makes him stand out.

🇺🇲🇺🇦 It is now being reported that the US will in fact be sending ATACMS missiles to Ukraine
NBC News is reporting that a "small number" of ATACMS long-range missiles for the M142 HIMARS. ATACMS has an operational range of up to 300km (190mi), significantly longer range than the standard HIMARS munitions which typically have a range of up to 80km (50mi).
Ukrainian Spy-chief Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) responded to the news that the US would be sending a small amount of ATACMS by saying:
"if it's 100 missiles, this won't change the situation"
The White House is still refusing to comment on the supposed weapons transfer, even as Zelensky was visiting Washington and the Biden Administration announced a new $325 million aid package to Ukraine.
"We are discussing all the different types of weapons and artillery, artillery shells with the caliber of 155mm, then air defense systems." Zelensky told an interpreter during his visit to Canada.
"We have a comprehensive discussion and work with the United States at different levels."
Have you seen this plane???
The US Air Force is missing an F-35 around the Charleston, South Carolina area after what the Marine Corps is calling a "mishap", and are now asking for help from the public finding the missing plane.
The F-35 costs $80 Million each to produce
In case you feel like being completely sickened by the deprivation of the US Empire in its quest to remain a Global Hegemon, learn how the CIA engineered the Coup against Allende in Chile on Sept. 11th 1973, or how the US recruited (surprise!) literal Nazis from Germany who escaped to South America after the War to coup and destabilize Socialist governments across the Global South.
Nothing really new. We know for instance that various Nazi Commanders, U-Boat Commanders, Panzer Corps. Staff Officers and even a Goebbels Assistant were all recruited by NATO and became Commanders-in-Chief of Allied Forces in Central Europe and AFNORTH such as Friedrich Guggenberger, Sturmfuhrer Dr. Eberhard Taubert, Johann Von Kielmansegg, Karl Schnell, Ernst Ferber, Franz Joseph Schulze, Ferdinand Von Senger und Etterline, and Hans Speidel.
All were prominent Nazi Commanders, all became prominent NATO Commanders.
NATO is an Offensive Fascist Alliance. The US is a Fascist Empire.
The US is and has been for a long long time, a Fascist Empire with a smile, with useless elections where Wall Street controls the ballot so the outcome doesn't have to be controlled.
Fascist Ukraine is cracking down on dissidents lately. The SBU thought it was a good time to remind the public who's in control by arresting former Communist Party of Ukraine leader Georgi Buiko, a native of Donetsk and one-time member of the CCCP.
Ukraine isn't just erasing the symbols of its Soviet History, as well as its History as a part of the Russian Empire, the propaganda campaign underway in Ukraine would make Goebbels blush. Ukrainian authorities have completely invented an imaginary new history of Ukraine that claims Ukraine has been an independent and sovereign nation for more than a thousand years. A complete and utter fiction.
From the very beginning after the Euromaiden Coup, the new Far-Right Ukrainian leadership moved to quickly stifle dissent and eradicate all Socialist/Communist influence or symbolism from Ukrainian culture, society, and history.
Even Leftists and anti-Imperialists feel the need to apologize for Russia's invasion of Ukraine and declare it illegal. And that instinct to reject war out of hand is a positive one overall. But in this case, it is unjustified.
No one, least of all the Russians, should have to apologize for Russia's response to US and NATO aggression. Putin went WAY out of his way to engage the West in negotiations prior to the start of the war, and I no longer believe any aspect of this war was avoidable for the Russians based on US and NATO actions since Euromaiden. The US and NATO wanted a war, and that's what they got. Only NATO expected to be able to control the results and narratives around the war, and clearly they are not succeeding.
Sickening words from Brookings Institution Political Elites who think wasting $113 Billion is a great deal for Americans, even as the govt offers only $700 a person to the handful of survivors of the Lahaina Wildfires, even after losing their homes, cars, jobs, pets, personal and sentimental items, and even their entire families. It was yet another easily preventable, predictable disaster our government did nothing to prevent, and is actively opening the door to giant corporations to rape the resources of Maui and use the disaster to gentrify the island and displace Working Class Natives.
Meanwhile, our fully corrupt Political Elite brag about the destruction of Ukraine, claiming it's the best deal in history to have tens of thousands of Ukrainians dying so America can weaken its adversary Russia.
However, anyone taking one look at the current Geopolitical situation can see the rise of a Multipolar world, with rising Powers aligning to undermine US imperialism.
As these BRICS countries and their allies integrate economically, and as that integration increasingly degrades US Dollar dominance, US debts will begin to result in stubbornly high inflation that cannot be stifled using Washington's traditional tools of raising interest rates and stifling Working and Middle Class demand.
The American people will take the hit as Political Elites in the US refuse to subsidize Workers, guarantee them jobs, or raise the minimum wage to keep up with inflation.
But in the long run, this is good even for US Workers. The degradation of US Dollar dominance will mean US legislators will eventually have to begin to live within their means. Profligate spending on Military bases all across the globe and maintaining Global Empire will become next to impossible, and money can begin to return to the US to be invested at home instead of for foreign wars that only help US Capitalist Elites at the expense of Working people.
Hundreds of people are still missing from the Lahaina fires and survivors have lost everything. And still our government is more worried about killing Russians, than saving and helping Americans.
According to the Russian media service Military Chronicle, who did a survey using publicly available satellite imagery to measure the expansion of Ukrainian cemeteries during the course of the SMO have determined that no less than 185'000 Ukrainians have been killed in the year between July 2022 and July 2023.

"But the Secretary [of War], upon giving me the news of the successful bomb test in New Mexico, and of the plan for using it, asked for my reaction, apparently expecting a vigorous assent."
"During his recitation of the relevant facts, I had been conscious of a feeling of depression and so I voiced to him my grave misgivings, first on the basis of my belief that Japan was already defeated and that dropping the bomb was completely unnecessary, and secondly because I thought that our country should avoid shocking world opinion by the use of a weapon whose employment was, I thought, no longer mandatory as a measure to save American lives. It was my belief that Japan was, at that very moment, seeking some way to surrender with a minimum loss of 'face'. The Secretary was deeply perturbed by my attitude, almost angrily refuting the reason I gave for my quick conclusion."

The point was never the unconditional surrender of the Fascist Japanese Empire, the point was to sufficiently scare Stalin and the Soviets from using the end of the war to spread Communism.
