The encampment, which had been in place for over two weeks on campus without issue, was stormed by hundreds of police in riot gear, clearing out the area in what has become just the latest example of extreme force being used to break up peaceful Pro-Palestine protests (often organized by Jewish student groups) and encampments.
"We can not have a genocidal foreign policy in a democracy" a professor tells reporters while being arrested.
"These young people are going to be the ones who have to pay the price for these horrible decisions."

At approximately 430am, more than 100 New Orleans police officers stormed the scene of the protest, violently breaking up the encampment and arresting at least 14 students.

When we see protests being crushed by American police, we are reminded of this quote from the movie Boondock Saints:
"Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most. And that is the indifference of good men."
Nothing could be more dangerous to the personal freedoms, human rights, democratic rights, freedom from violence, freedom of speech and the freedom of the people to peaceably assemble than the indifference of good people to the injustices being committed by their government, in their name, with their tax dollars.
📹 As student protests are ongoing at Tulane University, in New Orleans, where a student draped in an Israeli flag repeatedly attempted to instigate Palestine solidarity protesters, approaching protesters multiple times while being completely ignored as cars of local residents honk in support.
The instigators also drove by protests while waving the Israeli flag out of the car window, which was also ignored by protesters as cars behind the counter-protesters continued honking.

📹 Scenes from the violent dispersal of Colombia University protests after police stormed "Hind Hall", named by students in memory of 6-year-old Hind Rajab who was killed by the Israeli occupation forces along with two paramedics in the Gaza Strip.
Protesters are violently assaulted and arrested by NYPD, among the most notoriously violent police in the country.
News reports meanwhile claim no tear gas was used in the raid, and say no one was injured in the assaults, video evidence to the contrary.

Police force the woman to leave the area, but do not arrest her.
Tents at the protest include a medical tent, live music, erected barriers and even a student-to-police liaison.
Police have made no aggressive moves on protesters as of this time

Local police erected a large electronic sign threatening anyone on school property with arrest for trespassing.
Protests remain overwhelmingly peaceful, while police continue to use and threaten violence to suppress protesters.

📹 Student protesters in the Palestine solidarity movement are assaulted with tear gas by police officers at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa on Tuesday, while five students were arrested by police at Florida State University.
According to some reports, police also used rubber bullets to assault protesters and forcibly remove their encampments.
Protests continue at USF, University of Florida, while protesters at the University of North Florida started an encampment.
The administration of Colombia University has issued a statement in which they demand the student protesters dismantle their occupation encampments under threat of suspension.
According to the statement, students must dismantle their encampments and identify themselves to faculty or face suspension and presumed further arrests.
📹 The heavily militarized American police continue to violently suppress student protests against the Israeli occupation's ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Police have assaulted and arrested over 900 demonstrators since April 18th, in service of the Israeli occupation and US defense contractors profiting off the genocide of Palestinians.
