🇷🇺 DAY OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER 🪖

Today, December 3 , is a memorable date in our history - Day of the Unknown Soldier . It was on this day in 1966, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the defeat of the German invaders near Moscow, that the ashes of an unknown soldier were solemnly buried near the wall of the Moscow Kremlin in the Alexander Garden.

The inscription on the memorial reads: “Your name is unknown, your feat is immortal.”

December 3 is the day of remembrance of the feat of all nameless soldiers who gave their lives for the Fatherland. This date is set so that their courage and dedication will not be forgotten, despite the fact that descendants will not be able to visit their graves.

HEROS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

Roza Georgiyevna Shanin

3 April 1924 – 28 January 1945

Roza Shanina was a graduate of the Central Women's Sniper Training School credited with 59 confirmed kills.

Shanina volunteered for the military after the death of her brother in 1941 and chose to be a sniper on the front line. Praised for her shooting accuracy, Shanina was capable of precisely hitting enemy personnel and making doublets (two target hits by two rounds fired in quick succession).

In 1944, a Canadian newspaper described Shanina as "the unseen terror of East Prussia". She became the first servicewoman of the 3rd Belorussian Front to receive the Order of Glory.

Shanina was killed in action during the East Prussian Offensive while shielding the severely wounded commander of an artillery unit. Shanina's actions received praise during her lifetime, but conflicted with the Soviet policy of sparing snipers from heavy battles. Her combat diary was first published in 1965.

Since people wanna celebrate the moon landing so bad, lemme remind you which country actually hit most milestones in the space race first (image source in alt)

A healthy reminder that Marxism Leninism produces better economic, scientific and developmental results than Capitalism every single time.

Socialist Democracy vs Bourgeois Democracy

"A Socialist Democracy would empower Workers through more meaningful forms of Democracy. It should not be permitted to bribe politicians and political leaders in any way, and every citizen, no matter how poor or marginalized, should have the same access to elections and other democratic structures as everyone else."

-

"Today, just as in Lenin's time, there are many misperceptions about 'democracy,' just as there are misperceptions about Socialism. A lot of people fall for Capitalist lies. They believe that Bourgeois Democracy is good for the people and they fall for the scam of Capitalist elections, thinking that their votes actually matter in a Bourgeois Democracy when, in reality, Capitalists actually control the agenda of society behind the scenes."

-

"Freedom of discussion, unity of action- this is what we must strive to achieve... Beyond the bounds of unity of action, there must be the broadest and freest discussion and condemnation of all steps, decisions, and tendencies that we regard as harmful"

"Only through such discussions, resolutions and protests can the real public opinion of our Party be formed. Only on this condition shall we be a real Party, always able to express its opinion, and finding the right way to convert a definitely formed opinion into the discussions of its next Congress."

-Vladimir Lenin

-

"And so far, no country on Earth, not the Soviet Union, not Vietnam, not Cuba, not any other country, has yet achieved full Socialism."

On this I just have one thought, I've come to believe it is impossible to achieve full Socialism without first uprooting Capitalist Imperialism globally. As long as any one Capitalist Nation State can still overpower and interfere with the basic function of a Socialist government in its own domestic arena, true Socialism will never be achieved.

We must first work towards the disempowerment of Neocolonial structures in International trade and the global economy.

In other words, we must first build a Multipolar global economic structure independent of the structures built for Capitalist Imperialism like the IMF and World Bank before we can truly build Socialism anywhere.

Every attempt at building Socialism under the current Neoliberal global economic model only results in a certain level of achievement before Capitalist Imperialist forces begin interfering with the proper functioning of the Socialist Nation State. They do this through either sanction and economic blockade, or denial of use of global infrastructure banks without dismantling Socialist policies, or outright Political and Military interference by Western Imperialist Powers and even outright economic sabotage as well as the funding, arming and training of separatist groups domestically.

By creating the Multipolar structures for a more democratic global economy, Nation States will finally be free to develop and modernize without the risk of attack, sabotage, blockade and sanctions, giving them the breathing room they need to find their own route for development, and giving Socialists the space they need to flourish and to advance the Socialist system beyond the limited achievements of the Soviet Union and other Socialist governments.

Watch "History of the Hungarian People's Republic PLAYLIST" on YouTube

Fantastic work by our comrade The Finnish Bolshevik. It is a series on the History of Socialist Hungary.

If you'd prefer reading the series, you can find it here:

Western Historians would have you believe an "Imperialist" Soviet Russia just went around at the end of WWII invading Eastern and Central Europe and setting up Soviet "authoritarian dictatorships" under Russian control.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I will try to put together each part into seperate posts throughout the day or over the next few days, but I can't be sure I'll find the time to do that with all 10 or 11 parts.

Each part is not that long, roughly 30-40 minutes, and makes for easy viewing in chunks.

In the videos, The Finnish Bolshevik deep dives into the history of the Hungarian State, how Western Imperialist Powers installed a Fascist Dictatorship, the impact of World Wars 1 and 2 and their aftermath, Hungary's Socialist Revolution, and Hungary's transformation into a Socialist State becoming a satellite of the Soviet Union and much more.

Anonymous asked:

How can I explain to people who ask me how can I be a Leninist and still anti imperialist?

Lol, well Lenin literally wrote the book on Imperialism in his pamphlet; Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism. I would strongly suggest reading and rereading it, and rereading it again.

But in Chapter 10 of Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism, Lenin characterizes imperialism as a stage of monopoly capitalism marked by monopolies, cartels, the role of banks as monopolists of finance capital, and a new colonial policy centered around the struggle for raw materials and capital exports. He argues that imperialism has led to increases in the cost of living for working people and increased unevenness in the economic development of states. Lenin sees the monopolies' oligarchical powers as a symptom of a transitional era and a "moribund" capitalism.

Lenin thus argues that advanced capitalist nation-states and cartels exploit both their own citizens and the resources and people of other countries, creating a parasitic relationship that allows cartels to profit and expand. This ultimately relies on the use of force or threat of use of force to protect private interests. Exploited nations are unable to achieve meaningful development due to this exploitation. This affects their ability to engage with each other and defend themselves. Imperialism's all-encompassing power distorts social and economic processes in both imperialist and colonized nations. Therefore, the struggle between imperialism and decolonization is the most important conflict for the future of humanity.

Lucky for me, another Marxist Leninist has gone over this exact question and goes into detail why the Soviet Union was NOT Imperialist. In fact, by definition, the Soviet Union was an Anti-Imperialist State:

Watch "USSR TV End of Day Sign-off with Anthem on YouTube

It's incredible really when you consider the messages and propaganda we are bombarded with on a daily basis, in the West at least, endless barrages of ads and other media that celebrates the wealth and power of the few.

And then you look back at Soviet era propaganda that celebrated the diversity of the USSR, and most importantly celebrated the workers that formed its core, it's really quite astounding.

When you really think about it, the Capitalist world has worked tirelessly to tarnish the image of the Soviet Union for the very power that lies behind the Soviet idea. The idea that workers can unite, throw off the shackles of their capitalist class, and build a strong, diverse, and well developed country capable of standing toe-to-toe with the most powerful Capitalist Imperialist Superpower in history.

If workers ever understood their worth, their numbers, their POWER.

Well, that would be the end of Capitalism.

To the Capitalist Class of the West, who want to control not just US & European commerce, trade, resources and wealth, but also global wealth and resources, no idea could be more dangerous.

A few more photos of actual grocery stores in the Soviet Union during Socialism:

As one can quickly see, there were neither breadlines, nor mass rationing in normal times.

However, once Capitalism began to be re-introduced in 1985, the Soviet system quickly unraveled, leading to the breadlines famous in photos like this one from 1988:

For those people who seriously believe the Soviet Union was filled with nothing but breadlines and food rationing, these are photos of various grocery stores in different towns and cities across the Russian SSR.

As is clear from the photos, no there were no "breadlines", no rationing in normal times, just your typical, fully stocked, state-run grocery store.

Comrade Andrei Grechko

Born: October 4th, 1903

Died: April 26th, 1976

Born to Ukranian Peasant Family of true believers in Proletarian Liberation and Socialism.

Grechko fought for the Red Army during the Russian Civil War for Liberation and formation of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics at the Age of 16.

Joined the Communist Party in 1928.

After Soviet Liberation, Grechko attended and graduated the 6th Cavalry College. He the attended Fronze Military Academy, graduating in 1936.

Finally, after next attending the Soviet General Staff Academy, he graduated just in time for the German invasion of the Soviet Union on Sunday June 22nd, 1941.

As the Leader of the 34th Cavalry Division, Andrei Grechko quickly gained prestige after leading his Division in a heroic battle defending Kiev in his Native Ukraine.

Upon immediately gaining recognition as a brave warrior and natural Leader, Grechko began a succession of Military Leadership Positions that found him Commanding General of 1st Guards Army by the end of the War.

After the War ended, Grechko's star continued to rise, becoming the Commander-in-Chief of Soviet Forces in East Germany, an immensely powerful and prestigious command, and was promoted to the rank of Marshall of the Soviet Union in 1955.

Grechko went on to become the Commander-in-Chief if the Warsaw Pact Forces. One if the most important Leaderships to hold during the height of the Cold War. He held this command from 1960-1967, years most of the World was certain would see Nuclear War between the Bourgeois US and the Socialist CCCP.

Then, on April 12th, 1967, Andrei Grechko became the Minister of Defense for the Soviet Union, a position which Grechko would go on to hold until his death in 1976.

Throughout the height of his Military Career, Grechko was an active member of the Communist Party and member of the Soviet Politburo.

Grechko used his Political heft to lead the Modernization of the Soviet Forces during his command.

Of course the Capitalists only remember this Soviet Military Hero of World War II and Red Army Liberator as the Soviet Minister of Defense responsible for the Nuclear First Strike Policy the Soviets adopted as a deterrent against a United States Regime Change War, something we all know would have happened eventually had the US remained the only Nation with Nuclear Weapons in the years after WWII.

Thankfully that never happened due to the dangerous work undertaken by Marxist Leninist true believers who put their Lives on the line defending the Soviet Union from certain Imperialist Destruction by spying on US Military Intelligence and slipping Nuclear Weapons secrets back to the Soviets at HUGE risk to themselves and their families.

So that's just a short biography of the Soviet Hero and Veteran of WWII who helped lead the Soviet Forces to Victory against Fascism and Liberating Holocaust Victims from Concentration Camps all along the way on their great March on Germany and the Axis Forces.

RIP Comrade Andrei Grechko

A Proletarian Hero

No Marxist should shy away from defending the Right of Socialist Countries to exist.

No matter how hard the Corporate Media and Western Governments try to undermine the DPRK, the fact remains that this little Socialist Nation has managed to defend itself against US invasion, exclusion from Global Trade, Sanctions and Military provocations, and yet is still there, building Socialism independently.

Traditional Korean culture is obviously very different from anything we might easily understand in the West. And certainly Socialism in the DPRK has taken its own peculiar path and form.

But if we are to ever have a successful International Socialist Movement, and have Unity, part of that has to be a nuanced view of the DPRK, along with support for their Right to Exist and their Right to develop Socialism in their own way as determined by the Korean people.

That doesn't mean never allowing the DPRK to be critiqued, we all must be willing to accept criticism and give criticism in good faith. But denying the contributions to Socialism by the DPRK only plays into the hands of the Imperialists and justifies their Military aggression towards the DPRK, their unprovoked Sanctions going back decades before their development of a Nuclear weapons capability, and it ignores the entire history of non-stop interference and aggression towards the affairs of the DRPK and the Korean people.

Colonialism is alive and well. One only needs look at the History of the Korean peninsula to begin to understand why the DPRK has taken the route it has, and many other peculiarities are simply cultural differences that do not excuse people for supporting Imperialist aggression against their Right to Exist and build Socialism based on the Juche idea.

Solidarity to the DPRK and the peoples of the Korean Peninsula 🇰🇵✊

People like you killed my family in Poland for the high crime of attending Mass too much. Rot. In. Hell.

You really love worshipping dictators, don’t you?

If by dictator you mean millions of people who supported a vast Bolshevik Revolution and elected the Communist Party leadership, with over 100,000,000 people participating in the political system as happened in the Soviet Union, of which Stalin still enjoys 60% approval, despite more than half a century of anti-Stalin lies and Propaganda????

Then Yeah Bud. I do.

Know what the hell you're talking about.
