-The amount of time you have to spend telling people not to Bite one another is quite frankly insane.
-Really you think this is the kind of lesson you should only have to say once. But here you are, pulling Elendira off a poor lab assistant telling her that she cannot just bite people to get her way.
-Honestly, with that one, you’re lucky that it wasn’t worse. At least it wasn’t the nails…again. But you know you can’t praise her for “not being as violent as you could have been”
-Zazi is a different beast altogether. He also needs to be told not to bite.
-But while Elendira is at least a little bit more prim and proper- Zazi loves to cause chaos and start trouble, just to get a rise out of people.
-Zazi will bite worms in half and spit the back end at Elendira just to make her scream.
-She runs to hide behind your legs and Zazi yells at her for not playing fair and using you like a human shield.
-It occurs to you, that either of these children could, if they wanted to, kill you in an instant, and in a weird way it kind of warms your heart.
-Such violent, brutal little kids- and here they were, playing like normal children, and calling you mom. It’s kind of sweet if you don’t think to much about it.
-And they do respect your authority as their only “mother” figure. They might whine or pout, but they’ll obey when you tell them to please be careful when playing around with experimental chemicals. And not to bother the scientists.
-Elendira is a spoiled little girl, no one’s ever told her “no” before, she’s lived her entire life being told she's better than humans, and being treated that way. She was a little stunned the first time you told her that she wasn’t allowed to do something.
-Zazi is much the same. He runs so much off instinct that he isn’t used to restraining himself at all.
-Both of them are weird little kids- but they do at least try to be more well-behaved for you.
-A sticker chart would work WONDERS for these two. Both of them are starved for warmth and affection.
-And you’re just the perfect person to provide it for them

genuinely it will never stop baffling me how people will wear twilight shirts and talk about team Edward vs team Jacob and then the same people will be like "I'm not basing my personality off of a piece of media (harry potter) made by a transphobe 😌" like good that's great! so you can excuse racism but you draw the line at transphobia? good to know
I just think it's really funny how posts about how if you still own a Harry Potter coloring page you made at age 9 you're a transphobe get 60k notes and are reposted to Instagram Facebook and tik tok but posts about how Stephanie Meyer used real native american people as props in her unbelievably bad stories die out after maybe a few hundred. anyway why don't you guys go look at the Quileute tribes actual history and culture as presented on their website
