charlie/hannah + met at comic con for sapphirestiel
( a continuation of sorts to this)
charlie bradbury has always loved comic con—and now that she’s going for work, she loves it even more. as a matter of fact, everything in her life seemed to have improved since she scored her job as director of the new syfy series, infinity.
after her panel ended, she and her personal assistant, hannah, headed back up to their room in the hotel to get their things before heading out to find something to eat.
"what were you feeling like for lunch? i’m starving, I could eat anything," charlie said as she rifled through her bag.
"i was actually wondering if you’d want…well, i made a lunch, and i thought that maybe you’d want to eat outside. like a picnic."
charlie turned and saw, to her amazement, that her usually stoic assistant was blushing. actually blushing. in her hands were a basket and a plaid blanket, and she seemed nervous to meet charlie’s eyes.
charlie’s lips sprang into an enormous grin. “you know, i would absolutely love that.”

charlie/hannah + winter (for haelstorm)
hannah milton was charlie’s next door neighbor: her very cute, very reserved next door neighbor. aside from the occasional greeting in the hallway, the two scarcely ever saw each other.
until, that is, hannah went out of town for a week and asked charlie to dogsit her husky, hugo. charlie fell utterly in love with the animal: taking him for walks through the snow, sitting with him curled up at her feet in the evenings. after the week was over, she was sorry to say goodbye, and she told hannah as much.
"well, you know. you could still come over if you’d like. to play with hugo, and stuff." hannah told her, shifting awkwardly from one foot to the other.
"and stuff." charlie replied, grinning mischievously at the telltale nervousness in her neighbor’s voice.

charlie x hannah hospital au
Hannah is a nurse and Charlie is the hospital’s new IT woman. Somehow all of the non-medical electronics Hannah uses go haywire, and somehow Charlie is always the one to come fix it.
"It’s a wonder you’re still alive in this century," Charlie remarks with a smirk thrown Hannah’s way. "You have, like, the black thumb of electronics."
Hannah chuckles, cheeks going pink. She’s been working up the courage to ask this for weeks, she should just ask already. She swallows down her anxiety and licks her lips. “You know, my home computer has been crashing a lot lately. Do you think -“
"Yes!"
Startled by Charlie’s sudden interruption, Hannah stops and blinks and stares at Charlie, whose expression is surprised by her own enthusiasm. Her mouth opens and closes several times before she finds her words.
"I mean," Charlie coughs lightly. "Yeah, sure. I can check it out for you. If you’d like."
Hannah nods. A warm, tingling feeling radiates from her chest all the way out to the tips of her fingers. She smiles. “I could repay you with dinner?”
"It’s a date!"

Yellow for the sand, ocher and red for the sunsets, when the ocean seems to swallow the sun. Blue for the sea, blue for the sky.

charlie x hannah autumn cafe au
contrary to popular belief, the reason hannah frequents the cafe so much isn’t because of the handsome blue-eyed man behind the counter. no, instead she has eyes for his keen, intelligent friend with bright red hair and the most infectious smile hannah’s ever encountered.
one autumn day, while she’s responding to some work emails, hannah’s laptop crashes, and charlie is there to diagnose the problem and fix it. she and hannah talk all afternoon, even after hannah’s laptop’s been restored. hannah leaves the cafe much later with a warm heart and a smile on her face.
when she opens her laptop at home to get the rest of her work done without distraction, she discovers her wallpaper’s been changed. instead of a goofy picture of her dog bella, a white paint canvas stares back at her with the poorly drawn words will you have dinner with me? (:
hannah goes back to the cafe the next day to give her response.
"yes."
