Charlie x Dorothy - online dating (femslash february) With their second anniversary coming up, Charlie and Dorothy decide to meet up for the first time. They’ve spent the past year and eleven months chatting and roleplaying on a fantasy RPG where Charlie showed off her badassery by means of her sword and Dorothy commanded thousands in her army. The meeting, unfortunately, is a little awkward. Despite bouncing off the walls the night before and despite the initial hug, silence lapses between them, hanging long and heavy. After so long of communicating online with a gulf between them… well, dating in real life is different. Dorothy stays with Charlie for the weekend and conversation is stilted. Then, Charlie dusts off the old Nintendo 64, orders a pizza and brings out some beer, and the two of them end up staying up past 4 in the morning, trying to beat each other in Pokemon Stadium, and hitting the side of the console every now and then to make it work. Sometime between laughing over the sudden fuzzy static and the high of adrenaline, they look at each other and know that they’ll be okay no matter the distance.

Charlie comes from the North, and has news for anyone willing to hear them: a supernatural force is gathering its strength. A woman named Abaddon is controlling it, whose soul is so dark she isn’t fully human. Dorothy understands that for the first time, the tribes will have to join forces in order to survive. Leaving her tribe in the hands of Linda, her counselor, she goes on a quest to rally the others kings and queen of the land. Charlie comes along.
