Back to WolfQuest
I recently purchased the 2.7 version of WolfQuest. I was quite fond of the original game for a long time, but it eventually got more and more glitch for me and I stopped playing it. However, I received a new, faster PC laptop two years ago and I’ve been getting into playing PC games since I got it. A few weeks ago, I remembered playing WolfQuest on my old PC laptop and decided to revisit the website to see if it could be downloaded still. I was delighted to find that not only did the WQ website and game still exist, but there was a newer version out with new features such as expanded wolf customization options, a new map, a new multiplayer mode, different difficulty settings, and more. I initially thought that the original game was glitchy because my PC was getting old, but it turns out that it was buggy for many, many other WQ players because the game itself hadn’t been updated due to cut funding. The 2.7 version is $10 (the reason as to why they charge now it on the site), but to me it was worth it for all the new stuff. I still have ideas and suggestions as to how the game could be better, but overall I’m pleased with the game now and I’m glad that the game has been revived. I started watching “let’s plays” of 2.7 on YouTube, which inspired me to make this blog and log the progress of my own wolves here.
Feel free to follow if you like wolves and/or WolfQuest!
Oh awesome! I didn't know they updated WolfQuest. I used to play that all the time before it got too glitchy for me as well.
Well, followers, I'm going to try the new WolfQuest for myself!
