RG movies and tv speculations

So since we’ve been getting lil non-confirmation news that the Rick movie(s) will be starting soon (like Jan. maybe), I’ve been thinking about it. Everyone’s reaction is all bringing back the same comments and concerns they said before. The fandom is skeptical and doubtful. Everyone’s tired and want closure. I get that. Anyway, I think it’s gonna happen at least the first one. We waited for like a year and some months for actual news of it starting. lol This all reminds me that it’s all show business, $$$, and hoping for GREAT writing and luck. Eh I really need to somehow have low expectations and stuff. :\ I think we waited more because of new deals, like movies being in theaters/Universal.(and it was always trilogy movies right?) I just want a good ending to Rick’s story. sigh.

I’m excited about the Rick movies starting, but then I’m like idk ..what to expect and, even if we get some kind of an idea, will it be good? idc about Jadis at all (but she’s the one who brings him to somewhere he’s at) Will Heath be there? ...and I hope Michonne will be in those movie(s)!!! It all comes down to great writing, cast, etc. Ahh.

I think I need to write down what I want and hope for...and also think of what would be the most disappointing ways and just be ...expecting less. bleh

-Random thought.. Maggie speculations... and spoilers!

I saw a post about if I still miss Maggie during s10. I realized that I don’t care that much. I guess it’s partly because of the writing and AMC...Maggie didn’t have other friends, loose end arcs in s9. I wasn’t that interested in Maggie in s8 or s9 because it’s like she was not with the TF that much and she’s mostly angry. :\ Then also her friends are all dead in Hilltop. But mainly, I don’t feel like I miss her because, even though it was a shitty “ending/exit” for her, she took her son and went with Georgie in a different community, and they’re doing fine. I think all the comic Maggie moments had been shown already - Negan plots. So in a way I feel Maggie’s story is done and fine/happy ending. But Maggie is returning to the show in s11 (and lil bit in s10 in some way that Idk). I think Maggie will be like a new character. Kind of like how everyone’s changed a bit from the big time jump. I think Maggie will be ..like comic Gov. Pamela or someone like that. Maggie might be president (like in the final comic issue/endgame/future.) Both comic characters are kinda similar. Idk but I’m curious what the writers will do with Maggie in s11. Maggie might be the ..erm “antagonist” or so. Yeah....I hope, if the show does it, it would be interesting and complex. But ofc it’s gonna rile up remaining TWD fans. Idk. ahh I really hope Hershel Jr isn’t gonna be like Sebastian. :| Idk..I liked Hershel Jr’s story even tho it upsets people but I liked his reasons. He misses his dad. So..I think s11 will be like s10 but kinda like Carol and Daryl/TF as the mains and Maggie introducing Commonwealth/communities..as a guest star? supporting character?. Kinda like we say Atlanta group but Morgan isn’t part of it but he’s still part of the group. Anyway, there’s gonna be a lot of traveling ..bigger world..political. Maggie is a main from the other side of the show.

-Other remixes (plots) I recently noticed that could be shown in s11. I think Aaron will be like comic Rick. Yumiko will be like comic Michonne with the lawyer stuff. Magna will be like comic Dwight-maybe, with not so loyal to Daryl. The mains will be adapting a lot to either comic Rick, Michonne, Carl, Andrea, Eugene’s plots.  Lydia is like Sophia or Carl. ???

- So I’m kinda wondering why the first movie is starting their pre-productions now in December. Idk much about movies and just speculating. I’m wondering if it’s to wait till DG is done filming and maybe even NR and MMB/and others to be done with s10. (filming was done before Thanksgiving). Maybe it’s also Jan to March is when the writers and GN are have time to write and set things up to film the movies. They had FTWD and TWD:WB to think about too and scripts. Idk but Gimple thinks he can do it. heh.

Anyway, so if it’s not about the timing or something, it would be cool if NR and MMB are part of the movie(s). They already have the contract deal to work for three years. Which it’s like I guess the show will end in s12? And that deal said like they’re also part of the TWD universe prj. so maybe they also do the movie(s). Idk. For me, I would love to have Carol and Daryl in the movie(s)! I think for show business it would be even better for Gimple to have all the mains and from other shows (FTWD, TWD:WB) in the movie(s) to be part of it. Because the movie(s) is a big deal right? They gotta sell it big. But Idk how that would work. Ahh I would love it if the movie(s) is a big Rlchonne and CaryI movie. :P

-My theory..my wishes...

I think Gimple kinda also wanted the first movie to be made after s10/after Michonne left the show-to find Rick. Idk when the movie will come out in theater but some fans say winter of 2020. So with that theory, it’s like s10 finale, movie-1, s11, movie-2, s12, and this could be where everyone comes together and do movie-3 for the final ending of Rick’s story (and maybe TWD show’s series finale).

oh tv gods, so many promises and commitments. O_O

-My wish so far(or an idea I hope it goes that I have rn)is that I want Carol and Daryl to be part of the movies...like C plot of the movie. I want Michonne to be reunited in first movie or be like a B-plot star of the movie.  Idk I have these ideas of how the movie(s) will go and I keep thinking of Lord of Rings for some reason or a movie where characters travel and reunite in the end.

-So I have these ideas so far of the movies. Michonne leaves to find Rick (without the kids). There’s a lot missions and traveling Michonne had to do to get to him, make friends, and maybe once she does find him and is with him, they both fight their way back home. First movie could be about why Rick couldn’t get back to his family, his recovery from his injury, introduce these new characters that are friends and foes.(Maybe some father and son trope in it?) Since, I’m a biased Carol fan/Caryler, I think Carol and Daryl will go travel with the Grimes kids to get the kids to be with their parents. I call it the Carol’s mission. Her story’s endgame might be like being able to have the Grimes kids protected, live, and have them be with their parents.

I feel like the Carol’s mission idea might not happen because it seem like it won’t work out. Maybe Carol’s mission will work in the third movie. I just think it’s part in plan (or not and writers just want Grimes legacy in the show and ratings stuff) that plan to have Carol to look after the Grimes kids as Michonne leaves in s10. Idk why Michonne will leave without her kids..but there’s a reason...idk what. Or, I’m wrong with this kids thing. From the s10B trailer and spoilers.., it seems like it’s Uncle Daryl looking after the Grimes kids. But what about Lydia? It seems like Carol is actually gonna be the one to look after her and be a parent figure to her. Idk why it’s like the writers switched this. In s9 and s10..writers kept like mentioning that Daryl is Lydia’s parent figure. So ?? Unless it’s some kinda pre-set up to the Caryl family? Carol bonding with Lydia, and Daryl bonding with Grimes kids..= Carylydia and Grimes kids.  Dixons and Grimes kids. ??? Anyway, I feel like Caryl will be part of the movies and travel or follow Michonne’s path to get her kids to her (in third movie maybe). It would be kinda like Caryl’s New Mexico dream/endgame in a way for them.

So those are my ideas..it’s a mess but it’s on the post. :) Now I go think of those headcanons/fanfics whenever and hope the movies goes... well.

-Man the writers gotta know their themes, tropes,...I hope uh Gimple really planned this story out.

Idk what the heck is gonna happen or how or even to think it will happen. But if the movie(s) do happen, I do hope it’s way better than the SW’s sequel trilogy movies. I hope the movies have good writing and a happy ending where the Grimes family are all together.

I was just googling this Hollywood Reporter writer Josh Wigler to see whether he would be continuing his Mr. Robot podcast into S4, and happened to come across this recent TWD article in which he recounts the happy ending Kirkman gave to his comic series (adult Carl reading a book to his and Sophia’s daughter about Rick and all the trials he and the group endured while restoring civilization) and considers how it might be adapted for the television series.

“Oddly, as unsure as I feel about ending the story, I feel confident in how I ended it,” Kirkman writes. “I’ve been building to this for years, and it does feel good to end on such a happy note. To know that everything these characters lived through meant something.”

Then, later in the article, Wigler speculates:

If there’s anything from the Walking Dead comics’ ending that could prove useful for divining Daryl’s eventual fate, perhaps it’s Carl’s eventual marriage to Sophia. In the comics, the two are childhood sweethearts before becoming nothing more than great friends in their teenage years. The platonic relationship eventually evolved, clearly. Could a similar pairing occur by the end of the TV adaptation between Daryl and the late Sophia’s mother, Carol?

With both feet on the ground and knowing full well that there are other ways they could accomplish this (like with Judith in Carl’s place, for example), I can definitely see the logic behind this theory.

With TV Carl dead, Daryl is clearly Rick’s heir in that he has been with him from the beginning and (eventually) took over leadership after Rick’s apparent death/disappearance. Moreover, he and Carol are the last two surviving members of the original group, as I think Carl and Sophia must have been in the comic series (but please someone correct me on that if I’m wrong), so if even a small part of Robert Kirkman wants to end his story on a happy note, giving that happy ending to Daryl and Carol/the Atlanta Two would make good narrative sense.

I should also point out that this guy is not remotely shippy, and just about every prediction he’s made thus far about the evolution of Mr. Robot (albeit a much more carefully written show than TWD) turned out to be true.

So there.

All I know is that if TWD were to end with Daryl on the front porch of his and Carol’s home telling the tale of Rick Grimes and Team Family to perhaps Lydia’s future child and his and Carol’s de facto grandchild, I would die of happiness.

🤞🤞🤞🤞💕💕🐧🐧

Yeah comic Carl and Sophia were the last Atlanta two (once Rick died). Omg I noticed a few mentioned this theory recently about how Caryl could be like them. This article really gave a good point to his theory. It sounds really possible. I really like this theory and that it goes with the comic story. I didn’t think of it much but I could see it go that way because the writers are remixing a lot in s10 and on. Carol isn’t always gonna be following comic-Michonne’s storyline.

I was thinking Caryl are like comic Rick and Michonne sometimes..when her misery arc ended(?). But with tv-Rick missing and Michonne leaving, s10 and on, seems like the TV story and comics adapting seem to be so different and Idk what to expect then with the characters. With comic-Michonne breaking up Zeke, fishing, came back, and eventually finding her happiness with finding her missing daughter Elodie. Michonne’s misery was missing her daughters for years. But with Carol, her son Henry is already dead, broke up Zeke, and came back still in misery. What is Carol’s happiness, if we’re going by comic Michonne’s storyline? So, I don’t know what’s Carol’s happiness is in her story. I’m guessing Carol’s peace and happiness could be being part of the Dixon family. I guess that goes with the comic Carl and Sophia’s endgame too.

hmm Carl and Sophia were a couple/endgame in the final/future issue. (they were young bf and gf but they were kids.) Teen Carl was mostly coupled up with Lydia and still was friends with Sophia in the comic books. Reason why later on when Carl broke up with Lydia and be with Sophia, because Lydia represented death, walkers, past- life and Carl wanted new life and think of the future.

Caryl and comic R&M thoughts

*spoilers from the SDCC trailer and 10x01 sneak peek. And comic spoilers.

*theories and all. Carol and tv-Mlchonne doing the more than one spider man meme in s10.

Caryl in the sneak peek is like in the comics with Rick and Mlchonne (again). But it was clever and it’s always seems clever when the TV writers move comic moments around and make it work. Daryl asking if Carol is still searching for Alpha (oh kinda like tv mlchonne and Gov.), is like in the comics kinda with Mlchonne searching for her daughters, and during that time is before they met the whisperers and Oceanside community. Tv writers made it that Alpha and whisperers move to somewhere warm in the winter. Idk it’s just clever and interesting how they move these pieces around. But the main thing, ofc is I want good writing and characters be in-character when they do comic adaptions and remixes.

Some differences is that Carol “pirated” / fished for a couple months offscreen, and I think her scene with Daryl is just them and probably more romantic-like. In the comics, Mlchonne “pirated”/ fished for yearssss offscreen, searching for her daughters and dealing with guilt. R&M had a different tone to it. More like worried, upset about his bff and platonic, Zeke asked about her. Look at TWD comic issue 139 and 140.

Since, comic Mlchonne was away offscreen-there’s a Telltale game on what had happened during those pirating days. My theory or something, is that Carol is gonna do something similar to what pirate!Mlchonne went through in the game and be shown with Carol in s10. Well because of the spoiler of Carol seeing visions of dead!Henry. I think the game was about Mlchonne dealing with 7 stages of grief. Just guessing, Idk what’s the end point of it. Here’s a video about the game. Here.

Anyway, it just weird to see Caryl or TWD character by the beach. Is it LOST? lol  It’s really weird to see some Caryl scenes- one moment in trailer and the sneak peek be so similar to the comic R&M. I can see that adaption happening more with Caryl being like comic-R&M because those characters are leads in the story. They’re also BFF. But whatever writers will do ukno. I shipped comic-R&M but R&M didn’t go canon. It’s interesting what the tv writers are doing with with Caryl with comic R&M moments (at least in 10x01). Idk it’s like they’re making comic-R&M romantic. :) But the show can always remix and go original too for Caryl’s story.

So, learning that it’s very possible that Carol “pirated”/fished for months searching for Alpha, I laughed because I’m like what about tv Mlchonne and my theory of her searching for Rick (and finding daughter comic-Elodie. Alpha=Elodie=Rick lol)?

AHH So many Mlchonnes! Ok like really I think Carol is taking some parts of comic Michonne’s plot,  and tv-Mlchonne is taking the other parts hers at the same time. Carol is taking comic-Michonne’s parts AFTER breaking up Zeke,  and tv-Michonne is taking BEFORE she breakups Zeke. And, I think Carol is gonna take parts of the Mlchonne TTGame/during the time jump(tv’s “6 years later”). I think and theorize that Mlchonne is taking comic M’s parts that is after the Whisperer War, which is searching the radio people. But, I’m just guessing and Idk much about Mlchonne’s story in s10.

It’s all an interesting remix game going on to me.

Some thoughts and speculations (with comics) on Carol and Michonne in s10.

*I ship caryl and richonne and I think they’re endgame.

*kinda petty..anyways.., hate-watcher. When I talk about comics, it’s like specuations and a guide where the character might go.

So, i don’t like how some fans would say ‘why Michonne/Zeke kissed when Michonne is meant to be with Rick, and Zeke meant to be with Carol’. im like wait what? Uhh no thanks. I just want Richonne back and I think these fans meant Richonne to be back. ( why is it like being a richonne shipper in the fandom~ therefore must be a Carzekiel shipper? lol no. shipping’s not like that. ukno we got out own fave ships. And I don’t like the whole thing with my ship must be #1 even though there’s no prize on it and why not have multiple ships. whatever.) I also think it’s not Carol’s dream or something Carol would be upset about. I think she’s done with him. Carol was the one who broke up with him and it seems like in the trailer she’s focused on vengeance.  So, ok I just want Zeke to go away and I hope it was one episode he interacts in Michonne’s episodes. Omg Idk how that scene goes. We don’t know what kind of relationship it is. Ugh Kang and her ship-drama. blah. It’s why I don’t watch the show..and “try” to not get invested in the show and read spoilers.

Idek how many episodes Michonne is in s10. ahh. I think there’s five and they’re scattered in the season. I kinda wish it was all at once. But whatever make the story good. (..lol as much as they can.) (I hope there’s no dumb plots like Zeke going with Michonne on the boat or whatever..Idk what they’re gonna do with Zeke.)

I do agree that whole Michonne and Zeke pairing is so dumb and rushed (like they did with C/Z but worse). I feel it’s not needed unless it’s some angsty plot Kang wants to do, I guess.  M/E doesn’t make sense at all. The fandom hates it. There was no buildup and Michonne was not into being in a relationship during s9 (and those 6 years.)  But, she did start to open up to people in s9 finale ehhh which is like comic-Michonne with Rick...hmm,

Some fans and critics or whatever, think it’s right and make sense “cos da comics say so”. Which is crazy, wtf where’s the story and the good adaption on it? That’s lazy writing. Anyways, so I don’t think it’s actually a comic adaption...it doesn’t feel that way, imo. I think CarzekieI was the comic remix of comic-Michonne and Zeke being in a relationship overall. It’s what I think when comparing to the comics. So, I think tv-Zeke was like ..just there and Kang decided to have him with her in that scene.  But, I guess Kang is up to something. (Zeke gets broken up twice)

So, on the trailer it looked like Carol and Michonne are using the comic-Michonne story at the same time...with the same storyline it seems. It’s confusing. Ok I’ll dissect it further. I guess it’s like with Michonne, the writers are showing the part in the comics where it’s BEFORE comic-Michonne break up Zeke and leaves to *find* her daughter (on the boat). With Carol, it’s AFTER comic-Michonne broke up Zeke and went on the boat or during the “pirating” times/TWDG Telltale games. And help fight against the whisperers.

I think Michonne is going along more like comic-Michonne recently. I’m kinda amazed how quickly they made them similar, emotionally. I didn’t think tv writers could do it and on anyone because for a long time it didn’t seem like anyone was really like comic-Michonne. Ok when tv-Michonne is with Zeke and ‘she’s like IDK if I can be in a relationship...I still feel unsure and have guilt or some angsty feels for so long because Idk where is my dead/missing husband is at?’ So, that whole emotional part feels very like comic-Michonne, IMO, and I think it’s something Michonne will breakup Zeke and goes to find Rick...because she needs closure or ..ukno she needs to find her lover! (With Carol, she’s similar with comic-Michonne,emotionally, but not quite as like it,imo.) So that whole M/E moment in the trailer ..very small to be comparing from the comics than C/Z. Idk what else Michonne does in s10, like how her exit from the show goes. She better lives!

In some ways, it seems like Carol and Michonne’s plots could be what was missing from the comics and the games with comic-Michonne’s storyline. In the game, it went straight to depressed-Michonne “pirating” and so we didn’t really see that Ezekiel breakup and comic-Michonne wanting to leave. It was during the timejump and what other characters had said on what had happened. Uh ok comic-Michonne just went up and left everyone and “pirated”/Oceanside’s fishing crew, without telling anyone. So I guess on the show we see more explanation and depth on it, I guess.

With Carol, it seems like she’s taking some comic-Michonne from the games, which they are canon to the comics, and I also think she’s taking parts of the post time-jump/whisperer war (and comic-Andrea storyline...or like a second leading character on TWD). Or it’s both. Idk most of s10 is so different in the comics then. I think the mains are gonna bounce back and forth with comic-Rick, Michonne, and Andrea’s storylines. I think Aaron is taking Dwight’s plot. Anyway, there’s moments in the trailer where Carol mentions of the boat and sees flashes of dead-Henry. She’s also dealing with anger and all that stuff. It reminds me of the Michonne games. Except, I don’t think Carol is or was on the boat...and Henry is dead, whereas comic/game Michonne was looking for her *missing* daughters and dealing with regret. So, there’s parallels but Idk much and I think it stops there. There’s this plot on Carol wanting to kill Alpha and she’s part of the main storyline by interacting with Daryl (and Negan I think). It’s like from after the timejump/pirating storyline and comic-Michonne was mostly being there to fight whisperers and support Rick and gang, which I think is like being there for Daryl.  It’s all main characters doing their thing and fighting in the whisperer war. I also don’t know what’s Carol’s endgame..or I mean comic-Michonne found happiness by finding Elodie, but what is Carol’s? So I think Carol’s story is gonna be different and not be adapted from comic-Michonne’s story anymore (it’s tv-Michonne’s then.)

-Oh that BFF scene with Caryl. lol It threw me off. Because I thought that remix/adaption moment already happened so it’s like they did it again but by the book. It’s weird and confusing with tv-Michonne’s story going on. Ok so that moment in the comics is right after comic-Michonne comes back from the pirating/timejump. So? Maybe Carol did “pirated” Idk.  I know people would argue Caryl is like comic R/M which they didn’t go canon. But like who’s comic-Andrea then for Daryl? (usually tv-Michonne but she’s not gonna be in the show that long) and like tv-Michonne is (im assuming) gonna search for Rick, who is always like comic-Rick.

Ok whatever. Carol and Michonne are both going along comic-Michonne’s storyline and it’s bit remixed. They’re at different times based on the comics. I hope for the best for them.

TWD comic remix theory... with Michonne and Carol after the Time Jump.

Really though these two are so hard to speculate. And I’m like worried and confused.. But also, I don’t think this show will last as long as the comics so my speculating could be pointless.  Confusing post! Just overthinking. vvv

so apparently writers wanted to go by the comics and kill Carl like comic-Andrea (but different war.) It wasn’t Chandler’s choice to quit..omg. so it just tells me that writers wanted to go by the comics ..and have Rick suffer like the comics atm.

it’s like gimple wanted to go by the comics and so..it’s like he didn’t want to kill off Michonne (comic-Andrea/Rick’s wife) so he killed off Carl. Killing off Carl still affects Rick like in the comics(comicAndrea’s death). Idk what her death and um..paralleling with Negan means yet. There’s some arc endgame that Kirkman haven’t shown yet in the comics.

idk what the writers are thinking exactly but i think we know more clearly on ep 9 -mid season premiere, on why they did it and stuff. It could be explained in all s8B. Like why they kill Carl and not..uh Michonne or someone close to Rick(based on comics)?

It’s also totally changing the show’s premise. Father and son. Seeing Carl grow and lead one day. I hope the writers know that. I also hope they keep making good risks and do their own thing. Be their own gritty TWD show and not so much like copying the comics or so. idk

I’m really hoping they explain the show’s premise again. Explain what the show is about again or what it is now since Carl died. S1-8 was all about the father and son like from the show. Except the show isn’t quite like the comics and now it’s more telling that it’s Rick’s show. Carl was already a good man. It’s like Rick is still learning and living to what Carl’s dreams.

It’s like TWD ended tonight. When TWD comes back it’s a different show and ..in s9 it’s truly gonna be “The New Beginning.” So far I want to see how it will be with TWD, imo. Tonight’s episode was so intense, gritty, moving, and bittersweet. I really like the last shot of the episode.
