Love your idea of using Tamra in this arc. She's come to Mindys defend a lot AND has put Danny in his place a few times. she could be used on both sides of the coin. Plus she's awesome and I'd selfishly like to see her more than, say, Jody. I also agree with the other anon and comments I've read elsewhere that Mindy needs a female friend to help her with this! I just find it unrealistic that a woman like Mindy doesn't have a girl group. I know that's how the casting/show turned out but still.

She’s a great foil for Danny, and she calls him out every time, but more than that she supports other women. She calls Mindy out when she’s being self centered and ridiculous too, but I’ll never, ever be over how quickly she and Sheena shut down the nonsense around Mindy and helped her build herself back up when she needed them. 

That’s exactly the kind of friend Mindy needs right now
