Tracey's response implies that she isn't playing the role, obviously, so could this actually be a real part of the script? Losig Jeremy would suck, but not too much. I never know what to expect with Mindy. Would she give something permanent away like that? Seems weird. It all seems weird, idk.

Oh I don’t doubt this is an actual excerpt from a script. Would Jeremy leaving the practice really be THAT big of a spoiler though? It’s not like MK has shied away from teasing some biggies (i.e. ESB, India, engagement ring) anyway but let’s face it, Jeremy hasn’t had much of a narrative. 

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Ed! He’s terrible underused on the show so if he really is leaving, I just hope it’s because he’s pursuing other projects and not that he was let go (a la Zoe and Amanda) to make way for Fortune. Again, if this is actually happening, I’d still like him to pop up once in a while like the Duplass brothers do and most recently, Pally. But make no mistake, this was put out there on purpose. MK is a master troll.

I really don’t feel strongly either way about Jeremy. However, I’m guessing that, since characters we’ve never heard of before are the ones saying goodbye to him, instead of, say, Beverly and Tamra, that means it’s not the practice he’s leaving. I think she was just commenting on the minor characters being named after the writers. Or trying to troll a little.
