First, season 8 was probably the worst season of the entire series. It was the pits. One I will never rewatch. But my favorite caryl moment was them hugging on his bike before they split up for their jobs.

Any embrace between these two hopelessly in love idiots is right up there on my “Things That Give Me Endorphins List.”

Most underrated scenes would be two that I can think of: when Carol hears Daryl’s bike roar by and knows he chasing the guns and the guns won’t make it to Sanctuary. In that same vein, Daryl interrogating the dude they catch and him saying gray haired psycho Bitch (or whatever he called her) and Daryl automatically knew she was alive. They know about and care each other but they know that they can rely on each other to accomplish what they set out to do. I love that.

Caryl Timeline

Some Caryl moments before s10. = s6, s7(2 pics), s8(2pics), s9 (5pics)-first time jump, six year time jump, Henry’s death reaction, winter. 

We didn’t get a lot of Caryl scenes…as usual but the later seasons were really bare. Going through the pictures, ahh this show is so frustrating. It has so much potential and be interesting but lack on some stuff and plots/characters be so spread out. (The AOW coulda been cool arc. They kept spreading out TF and Carol. Carol at Kingdom because of plot. Time jumps omg so many changes.) 

Anyway, it seems the writers  were more focused on Caryl (always had been even though Carol was “flirting”/married with Zeke)since Henry’s death or Caryl became closer because Carol’s fairytale ended in s9. 

 s10 (couple months after the winter-time jump).

A short Caryl scene, to me it tells a lot.

Daryl comforting Carol, not others;

Daryl hold her to his side, walking together into the house.

May be there’s some conversation between them, may be there’s a moment Carol hugs him back, before back to her watch job.
