The Rosiers are one of the “Sacred Twenty-Eight” families, related to the Malfoys, Blacks, and Lestranges. Several of its members were Death Eaters
Theseus is Newt’s older brother, and Head of the Auror Office at the Ministry of Magic. The Ministry is at Hogwarts to find out Newt’s whereabouts from Dumbledore, who at the time is Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts
The Travers family is one of the “Sacred Twenty-Eight” families. At least one of its members was one of Voldemort’s most important Death Eaters. He later escaped from Azkaban and fought in many battles, including the Battle of Hogwarts
The WIZARDING WORLD™ of J.K. Rowling gets an official logo, indicating the franchise consisting of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts is only set to keep growing!
The new logo is an open book (for obvious reasons) and the W in Wizarding contains a lighting bolt.
The book’s pages are actually 9 wands, belonging to the main HP & FB characters. From left to right: Voldemort’s, Ron’s, Hermione’s, Harry’s, Dumbledore’s (the Elder Wand), Newt’s, Tina’s, Queenie’s, & Grindelwald’s (the wand he possessed before claiming the Elder Wand).
THOUGHTS?! Does this mean the Wizarding World will be growing even faster and bigger? How do we feel about Voldemort’s and Grindelwald’s wands being included in the logo?
Harry: Scorpius.
Draco: We were capable of having children, but Astoria was frail. A blood malediction, a serious one. An ancestor was cursed ... it showed up in her. You know how these thing can resurface after generations ...

Reasons why my money’s on yes for now:
"Well in this one, maybe not so [prominent a role], but Seraphina is the President of the American Wizard Association so whenever we return to the US, I would imagine we get more of Seraphina. But this film mostly takes place in Paris, so we get to see a Parisian version of her perhaps.
I'm actually going over next week [to shoot]. It's always a long shoot on these films so it's been a fair bit of back and forth but I'm so happy to be a part of the ongoing sequels. It's a great franchise."
So there was news that you’ll be in the Fantastic Beasts sequel. What was your reaction to joining the project and what was the audition process like?
My journey to joining the sequel was wild. It was fast. I had met up with JK Rowling months and months ago, and she ended up reaching out to me, being like, "I'm working on this really awesome character that I think you'd be great for." Then, once it got around to the studio and the producers and the director, then they were onboard. Finally, when I got the confirmation, I was just crying and screaming. A lot of crying because I started reading those books when I was in the fourth grade, and I was introverted, and I really, really loved those books. I never would've thought when I was a kid reading those books that I would one day, at 28, grow up to play this awesome, awesome part for this awesome character that exists in this universe.
What can you tell me about your character? Will she have magic?
I cannot reveal anything at all. I cannot reveal anything at all.
I really love Gellert's outfit. The German/Swiss alpine touch is great! The Lederhosen pattern and the chain on his vest for example. All in all he looks a lot better than in the first one. (But the bar was low). But I'm not happy with Jude Law's Dumbledore look. I didn't recognise him at all at first.
ooooh talk costume design to me 🤤🤤🤤 dang I love hearing about all the little details from someone who actually knows what they’re saying! and agreed for dumble
I only know the chains from the annually “Look at Bavarian Tradition” stuff during Oktoberfest time 😅
But I did a quick research on the chain.
It’s called Charivari (from Latin caribaria = “mess”/“madness”. Pronounced „Schariwari“) and made of silver jewellery chains a day decorated with precious stones, coins, antlers or horns, animal paws, claws, teeth and similar stuff.
It is traditionally worn with Lederhose or Dirndl. And it was passed down in the family (you could not buy the Charivari) and considered a talisman for a good hunt.
The mess/madness meaning is pretty fitting for Grindelwald! I wonder it it’s just a nice nod to his heritage or has some deeper meaning. Also the Lederhose got trendy after WW1 so that’s also fitting in the time. (Although that doesn’t look like a traditional one, but the embroidery seems right.)
