Canna-coconut oil, and canna coconut lattes
I have 3 favorite things, easily being witchcraft, food, and weed.
having all of these together, in coffee of all things, is kind of like a magical experience that I of course had to share with you 💛
So to make Coconut cannaoil, is super easy. Decarb your weed of course, whatever method works for you. I spread my ground up herb (about ½ a cup) on a glass baking dish and set in the oven at 230°F for 30-45 minutes. (you can do longer for more potency, just be careful!) You don’t HAVE to do this step, since itll decarb in the oil too, but it’s reccomended for a more effective edible.
(Warning, decarbing will make your house smell like weed. Take precautions if necessary. Buy a lot of sage and incense if you have nosy neighbors, cook bacon or a similarly strong smelling dish to mask the smell during decarb.)
After your weed is baked and ready, mix your ½ cup herb with 1 cup coconut oil(refined/unrefined is your choice. I personally prefer the coconut taste, so I use unrefined) in a sauce pan or pot. You can adjust the herb to oil ratio depending on your comfort level. ½ cup herb for every 1 cup oil is a solid way to go though.
If you’re using a Slow cooker: (highly recommended, its the easiest)
all you do is toss the oil, the herb, and a bit of water to keep the oil and herb from scorching, set that baby on low, and stir occassionally. This is where I also like to bless the infusion and focus on my intent while cooking it. In about 2-3 hours (or longer), youll have some amazing oil that you can totally bless or enchant before use.
Stove top:
This one is harder, as its easier to scorch in a sauce pan, but adding little touches of water should avoid scorching, which leaves a nasty burnt taste in your edibles.
Put oil and herb in pot with about ¼ cup water (add more if needed, its really a guessing game) stir every so often and heat for about 4 hours of low to medium heat. the liquid should never reach a full boil, only a slight simmer.
Straining!
after your oil is infused, strain the oil using a strainer or cheese cloth into a clean, sealable glass jar, and let cool in fridge over night. Youll have to break up the oil and strain the water after the oil resolidifies.
There you go! Easy Cannaoil!
Cannacoconut oil can be used to everything, from edibles, to pain relieving lotions, its amazing and so easy to make, but heres my absolute FAVORITE canna coconut tip.
Mixing about 1-2 tablespoons of cannaoil in my coffee with soy milk and sugar to taste, and blending it for about 10 seconds to create a rich foam 😍🤩😍 literally best ever, and its so simple, and good for you with healthy fats that boost the metabolism. 💕✌
Enjoy your cannaoil! if you want, feel free to share with me your cannaoil creations!
