To attract a job/ job opportunity

This is a spell bag, similar to a spell jar in concept but is to be carried with or placed on the target.

Components

  1. Rice (hard work)
  2. Basil (good fortune)
  3. Black tea ( fortune, protection)
  4. Salt ( protection, cleansing)
  5. Dill (amplification of magic, strength)
  6. Coconut ( desire, could be sugar instead)
  7. Cinnamon ( vitality, hard work, strength)
  8. Ginger (protecton from ill intent)
  9. A piece of paper

To construct

  • Write what you wish to happen on the paper. Be specific and give it a date to stick to. “My dad will get a job by Christmas that will meet or financial needs” is good “I want a job” is not.
  • Charge the paper with your intent and burn in
  • Mix the ashes with the other components and place in a bag or satchel
  • Place this somewhere the target often is, or in somthing that belongs to them. ( my dad works construction so I hid it in the frame of his truck)

*as always feel free to add or change ingredients and add or change steps as you see fit. Also this spell worked super fast for my dad, the day after I put this in his truck he was called with an offer.

CARROT & COCONUT MILK SOUP

This supremely simple blended soup, made with the sweetest (and most beautiful!) winter carrots, is richly creamy and gently spiced. It’s also amazingly nutritious - full of healthy fats and beneficial herbs.

Start with 3 lbs carrots - I used multi-colored ones, currently available at my farmers’ market in abundance, but any will suffice. Peel them, and chop into ½ inch pieces.

Peel and slice:

  • 2 onions
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 inches ginger root

Melt 1 T coconut oil in a heavy pot and add the onions. When they’re lightly cooked and translucent, add ginger and garlic. Sauté for several minutes, then add the carrots, stirring occasionally. In the meantime, heat 2 quarts of stock (your choice; my default is chicken, but this soup is easily vegan if you use a vegetable based stock). As the carrots begin to soften slightly, stir in:

  • 2 T turmeric
  • 2 t coriander
  • ½ t crushed red pepper (optional - avoid if you don’t like spice)

Pour the hot stock over everything and simmer until the carrots are truly tender. Add 2 cans coconut milk, turn off the heat, and, in batches, blend the soup until very smooth. Serve garnished with fresh parsley, pickled hot peppers, kefir, or all three.

Protection bath - Blue Bath #7

*purpose: keep you protected

Candles: Blue/White dress candle with shredded coconut, thyme, and basil. (Clockwise direction)

Incense: Peace, Coconut, Watermelon

Boil some water. Set out a bowl and place the lavender and rosemary in it, pour the hot water over the herbs, add 3 drops of blue food coloring and cover bowl. Let this sit for 15 minutes. Some people will pour the mixture over a strainer to separate the herbs and just use the water in their baths and some will pour the whole mixture into their bath (this will be a big mess). Pour some seashells into the bath. you must clean your bathtub afterwards.

Indulgent Smoothie Of The Week || Pineapple Coconut Vitamin C Smoothie

This week on Oh My Veggies, we’re all about smoothies, and this is one of those awesome smoothies that drinks like a dessert. Even though you know that only real, healthy foods went into it (and only four ingredients at that), you can’t help but feel a twinge of guilt when drinking it. It basically goes down like a milkshake.

But! This super-simple Pineapple Coconut Vitamin C Smoothie hides a powerful little secret inside all that creamy deliciousness: it’s got 140 mg of the cold-fighting vitamin. For women, that’s nearly double the recommended daily allowance (source: Mayo Clinic).

Win-win. A super-indulgent-tasting cold-fighter? I’m in. Especially with all of the gnarly bugs going around this time of year.

Want even more Vitamin C? Consider adding vitamin-rich papaya, guava, kiwi, more orange juice (or orange segments), a few fresh kale leaves, or even a few sprigs of parsley.
