Cutting energy cords

Energy cords are things that tie us to other people, spirits, and things in our life. They form for many reason and in different ways, but this post is about removing them so you can remove unwanted people from your life. Cords can be removed in a bunch of different ways. Just removing someone from your life weakens or removes some cords, but this post is about speeding up the removal process through energy work. (this is all from my experience with energy work and cord cutting, you might see or experience the process differently.) -Mod J

First thing you need to do is identify the person you are cutting ties with, and all the ties you might have to them. For example, I had a EX who left my life years ago and i did a cord cutting for our relationship, but i didn’t notice at the time that there were more cords connect me to them because they were more then just a person i dated. They meant a lot to me in different ways like how they were the only person i could talk to about certain things and we had built different aspects to our relationship outside of romantic ties that i ignored because on an unconscious level i didn’t want to give up that significance they had to me. This can take time to really figure out all the different roles a single person could have played in your life so don’t rush the process.
Once you know the different aspects to your relationship to this individual it’s time to go to work and start finding and removing them. I begin by doing the basic like grounding and centering myself and then start meditating until i reach a trance-like state.
Once in a deep meditative state you need to go out of body or visualize this person standing across from you. If you go out of body “find” the person you’re looking for and get a real feel for there energy at this moment. If you are visualizing them standing across from you pick an environment around you that makes you feel comfortable and in control and visualize that place. You need to really be able to create the feel of that person in your mind. This can be done by bringing up memories and/or by using things that belonged to them that you still have. It need’s to be an honest portrayal of that person, including the good and the bad.
Once you can feel and see that person in front of you start locating and/or visualizing these cords. You might notice there are more then one cord for each connection to this person you are cutting, this just means the bond between you and them was built up over time.
now the removal process begins. depending on the cord you are removing it might be better to cut them, or relocate them to other people in your life so you don’t leave an energy hole to be filled. When removing a cord you need to cut BOTH ENDS. This is very important. If you only cut your end or their end it will leave the cord just hanging there for someone or something else to latch onto to or it can just reattach to the person you just removed it from. You can remove these cord by pulling them out of your body and their body with your bare hands. This can be good when you have some pent up aggression for this person to really feel it being removed your you and their chest with your own (energy) hands. You can imagine/use anyway you want to remove or cut them, just make sure you do it from both sides of the cord and then obliterate it. I like to make them dissolve.
If you are relocating a cord from one person to another start the process again from the beginning with this new person, but you wont need to figure out all the aspect of your relationship to this person. take some time to really consider things before you implant one cord into another person. Just because you feel a certain way about someone doesn’t mean that want that same type of bond. It’s always a good thing to ask the other person before doing this. If you have a thought cord like this strong sense of love or trust that cutting will only cause a lot more pain reattach the cord to someone who you ALREADY have a similar connection to. Take the end out from the person you are removing this connection too and implant it into this other person. Watch it take root inside them and feel it change inside you to fit this new person.
The most important thing you need to do now to end this processes is to do some healing on yourself, and hopefully the other person too. Even tho you might not like them, leaving someone energy holes that didn’t occur on their own before you messed with things isn’t cool. So fill these tiny hole with healing energy of some kind. use any method you want. It might also be good to have someone you trust do some healing for you and them too, to really fill in some of the energy damages that might have occurred.
Come out of your meditation and return to normal activities. it might be good to take it slow and do some more grounding and centering because you might have just altered some important connections you relayed on more heavily then you through. take it slow for a day or too and practice some self care because cutting cords can be some heavy emotional stuff.

Be careful with figurines (animal or otherwise) you want to bring into your home. It doesn’t matter if you are a magician, wiccan, witch, cunning-man/woman or any magical practitioner worth their salt, there will always be a certain concentration of spirits in and around your house. They are drawn to you, your magic and anything in your home that can provide a house for them. An empty vessel does not exist in a magical household. A potential window for parasitical beings does. Especially figurines with eyes, claws and pointy teeth seem to be favorites. But also saint statues that aren’t cleaned and blessed properly can become the home of a nasty critter or hungry entity that really enjoys your prayers, candles and offerings. Sometimes when you buy antique- or vintage - statues from second hand shops you’ll find that a figurine or religious item (like a crucifix) feels like there is something in it. Be careful with this. In most cases, this is the accumulation of years and years of serving as a focus object for lay people. This can easily be cleaned up, or fine tuned. Depending on what you want. If you find that something is living in it, then it is when you have to be careful. Either the figurine/statue/religious object has been in a home of a magical practitioner in some way, shape or form. Or at one point, has been blessed by a priest (which is not unthinkable when it comes to, let’s say, a rosary/a holy water font/a crucifix) or it has had the misfortune of becoming a home to something. Now where it came from is actually not thát important. It is important that you find out what it is, and- perhaps more crucial -what it wants. Tarot gives a good handle for this. Usually I like to ask: ‘show me the energy in X object/’ and I just use a clean and simple layout (a three card spread). And I’ll go from there. If the being in there is parasitical, it will have to go. Small word on advice: do not be tempted into thinking that it can somehow be useful. It can’t, and won’t. Just cleanse the vessel, preferably with salt involved. Then bless it for whatever you need it to do, and tell it what you want it to do. A good example for this might be those popular evil eye amulets. Those won’t repel anything evil without being cleaned, blessed and told what to do.

Simple Full Moon Ritual!

✉️🌟🕯✨🌖🌕🌔✨🕯🌟✉️

This is a very simple, yet effective, little ritual that any witch can partake in! It may serve especially well for those who may not have many tools/the privacy needed to perform a more “elaborate” practice during the full moon, or witches who don’t have a lot of time.

1). Take a moment to write a list of things that no longer serve you in your life. (This could be bad habits, relationships, jobs, additions, etc… Anything that you feel is no longer beneficial to the well-being of your mind, body, and soul).

2). Fold up your list and take it outside. Look up at the moon. (Isn’t she beautiful?) Now is the time to read your list to her!

3). Once you have finished reading your list, burn it (safely, of course). Let the ashes of your paper drift away; as you do, visualize your problems flowing out of your life, no longer existing. (Other options: bury the paper ashes, or just throw the remains away).

4). Thank the moon for her time (and the universe, as well. ♡)

Egg Personal Cleansing Spell (2)

One person performs this cleansing for another:

Pass an egg entirely over the body.
Let the person who is being cleansed exhale onto the egg.
Break the egg in a dish and examine it. If there is blood or any abnormality present, this indicates that further, stronger action needs to be taken. If the yolk appears normal and is free from blood, the cleansing is considered complete.

In theory, one should use fertilized eggs so that the possibility of blood exists. If blood appears in regular unfertilized eggs, however, this is an extremely powerful indication that further cleansing is required.

Begin by cleansing yourself:

I’d first start by making the fiery wall of protection powder and the black salt and mixing them together. Sprinkle this mix around your house to create a perimeter of protection. The crab alarm spell should be cast then. After that I’d start the briar rose enchantment and while that’s brewing I’d cast the apple spell. Then, I’d light the juniper candle for as long as you think you’re in danger. If you feel like your wards are weakening I’d start chanting the personal protection chant.

After all that shit, empower yourself:

This should give you the little boost of power you need to not be completely dead inside at this point. Also, coffee.

If after all that the curse still goes through (which it honestly shouldn’t be able to), here are ways to get rid of a curse:

Simple curse destruction spell by @witchcraftings

I’d start by casting the calcifer spell first, and then sip the coffee involved while you make the body scrub, and then cast the simple curse destruction spell. Then take a shower and scrub yourself with the curse removal scrub.

And if you’re a little evil, turn the curse back onto the idiots who dare mess with your pristine self:

Cleansing Powders

Powders are sprinkled through an area to radiate a cleansing effect as well as to absorb malignancies in the air. Sprinkle lightly: typically the powders will disperse into the atmosphere quickly. If any powder is still visible after seven days, vacuum it up and replace. If this occurs consistently, you are either applying too much or stronger cleansing methods are needed.

FUNK OFF! Aura Cleansing Spray

As a highly sensitive empath, I’m constantly feeling the need to cleanse my energy and aura. Smoke cleansing is lovely, but not always practical. I crafted a spray that I can use several times daily that is just as effective as smoke cleansing.

You will need:

2 oz glass spray bottle
10 drops sage essential oil
10 drops rosemary essential oil
30 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops palo santo essential oil
5 drops eucalyptus essential oil
2/3 distilled moon water (base)
1/3 vodka or grain alcohol (base)
20 drops black tourmaline gem elixir

Shake well before each use and discard unused portion after 6 months. Please use caution when handling essential oils and be mindful of allergies and drug interactions. Essential oils are very potent and can cause severe and adverse reactions in some people.

This formula is a bit lavender heavy because it’s one of my favorite herbs. You are free to tweak the amount of essential oils to suit your preferences. Enjoy!

Basic Stationary Cleansing

Sprinkling directs the cleansing, however liquids may also be used as stationary cleansers:

Place any of the cleansing formulas recommended in Asperging Spells […] (but especially Florida Water and Notre Dame Water), in shallow uncovered pans.
Situate them strategically through an area, to absorb negative energy and provide a cleansing effect.

An orange, lemon, and lime spell to break a hex or curse

What you need 1 orange 1 lime 1 lemon 1 sharp knife 1 paper bag 1 jug

Do this on a Saturday morning

- cut each piece of fruit into quarters, first the orange then the lime then lemon. -rub the 12 segments of fruit in turn, first over your right palm and then over your left Palm. Say for each, so I remove all nastiness and I’ll intent from me. -now take each segment as before and squeeze it hard in the jug. Say the same spell words for each. -drop the drained segments into the paper bag and close it. Say: Your power to reach me with your bad intent is dried up, spent. You trouble me no more. -pour the jug of juice down the sink with the faucet running and the plug out say: your power to reach me with your bad intent is washed away, spent you trouble me no more. -when the jug is empty, turn off the tap and let the jug dry upside down. -throw the paper bag in the garbage bin outside your home.

This formula is attributed to Marie Laveau, the renowned Queen of New Orleans Voodoo. Born in 1792, Marie Laveau transformed Voodoo from a surreptitious and persecuted cult into an organized, respected (or feared), established tradition. Following her death, she has achieved unofficial saint status and continues to perform miracles from her grave at New Orleans’s St. Louis Cemetery Number One.
