Items needed for: Bath
- Handful dried or fresh rose petals
- Handful dried lavender
- Half cup sugar
- 3 drops orange essential oil
- 1 drop of red food colouring
- ¼ cup apple juice
- 1 red taper candle (to burn whilst bathing)

It may be wise to perform this bath in a portable tub, where you can throw the water out as per my post.
Create your bath at the temperature preferred. Let your flowers/herbs steep in warm water, before adding them into the tub. You can also melt a bit of your sugar in warm water before adding it in, also. Only add 1 drop of the food colouring. A small amount will not stain the skin.
Before bathing, take a small amount of the bath water (about a tablespoon), for later use. Carve hearts and whatever inspirational love symbols or quotes you like into your candle - a needle is helpful for this.
As you’re bathing, start from your feet and rub your body upwards. Whilst doing so, visualise bright red hearts floating up from your skin and popping like bubbles in the air.
When you’re done, you can either dispose of the water down the drain or thrown out toward the rising sun as explained in my post.
Bath can be taken once a week or as often as you wish.
Items needed: Potion
- 2 cups red wine (or water with red food dye)
- The tablespoon of the bath water you saved
- ¼ cup rose petals (dried or fresh)
- ¼ cup sugar
- tablespoon of honey
- ½ cup apple juice
And for later (for the label for your potion)
- 1 whole apple
- 2 different coloured paints
- Piece of paper
Add all of your ingredients (excluding the whole apple) into a large saucepan and heat gently for 15 minutes. Whilst you’re stirring, visualise hearts floating up from the mixture and popping like bubbles in the air - like your bath. Strain and set aside to cool. Pour into a bottle.
Take your whole apple and cut it in half. You are going to create heart apple “stamps” with your two pieces. You can do this easily by drawing a heart shape on the apple, and then carefully using a knife to cut around it.. essentially creating a stamp in the apple half.
Paint your two hearts the two different colours - one to represent you, and one to represent the lover. For instance, red for you and blue for them.
Press onto your paper or parchment, making the hearts interlocking. Tape or glue this as a label onto your potion bottle.
Potion is to be taken after your bath, every morning or as often as you wish. You must visualise finding love (and being happy!) whilst tasting the sweet potion.
