Which House(s) has Saturn in Sagittarius Transited in Your Chart? How has Saturn been affecting your Life?

Saturn will enter Capricorn on December 20th, 2017 and will stay there until March 24th, 2020. Saturn has been in Sagittarius since December 24th, 2014, went retrograde back into Scorpio throughout the middle of 2015, then back thru Sagittarius until the end of 2017.

When Saturn goes retrograde, we feel like we want to be productive, but situations just aren’t manifesting. We are being held back. April 2017-August 2017, Saturn will be retrograde in Sagittarius, from 27 degrees down to 21 degrees. So if you have planets in your natal chart at those degrees, transiting Saturn will make an aspect and you can predict what you will be going thru during that time. Saturn was retrograde in the teen degrees from mid April the middle of August 2016. For example, my natal Jupiter is 14 degrees Virgo, so at the beginning of 2016, Saturn was moving direct in Sagittarius, squaring my Jupiter, then went retrograde to continually hurt my Jupiter. If you want me to show you an example of how Saturn has been treating YOUR planets, you can ask me to give you a lesson.

Depending on what degrees your house cusps are, Saturn in Sagittarius might have entered two of your houses, even three of your houses if you have Sagittarius on two house cusps in your chart. Bear in mind that whether you use Koch, Campanus, or Placidus, you will get different double signs and different intercepted signs. If you live at a very northern latitude it is possible to have the same sign on three house cusps, therefore, Saturn might transit four of your houses in one sign.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 1st house: Your jubilant attitude has been dampened by the harsh realities that make you feel restricted. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 2nd house: Now is the time to learn money discipline, prioritize needs over wants, and develop your skills of ration.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 2nd house: You are expanding your skills that will earn you more money. Remind yourself to balance indulgence with ration. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 3rd house: You are refining your communication abilities, becoming a wiser speaker.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 3rd house: Feisty speaker you! You’re combining speed with accuracy in academic pursuits. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 4th house: You aren’t feeling nurtured by your family, they’re pointing out your faults.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 4th house: Your family is being pushy and you feel wanderlust yet not able to explore as much as you want. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 5th house: You’re not able to play and do creative pursuits as much as you wish. Perhaps having problems with fertility.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 5th house: Your children are acting wild and you’ve been learning to put restrictions on them. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 6th house: You’re getting important work done. You’re possibly having health difficulties, likely involving bones, teeth, hair, or skin.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 6th house: You’re enjoying your work more while honing effective productivity skills. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 7th house: Feeling cynical towards relationships.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 7th house: The balance between your desire for a wild love life and being committed. Perhaps an open relationship would be good for you. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 8th house: Feeling a block from being able to experience intimacy. Facing your fears and inadequacies regarding sex.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 8th house: Feeling held back from experimenting sexually. Or perhaps you’re becoming more sexually indulgent, depending on how you handle Saturn personally. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 9th house: This is a good time to go back to college, you’ll be able to focus on studying very well and become competent in your chosen subject.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 9th house: Expanding your horizons by learning and exploring while staying sensible about it all. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 10th house: Now’s the time to manifest your career goals! You like being in charge of others.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 10th house: You can be an inspiring supervisor who motivates other people! AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 11th house: You’re realizing who your true friends are, or perhaps you’re being the lone goat on the mountain top because others have disappointed you. You’re cynical about how other people are idiots.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 11th house: You’re expanding your circle of friends with people who matter, and cutting those who were previously toxic to you. AND

Sagittarius in Capricorn transiting your 12thhouse: You’re facing your subconscious fears, finding stability as you navigate your psyche.

Saturn in Sagittarius transiting your 12th house: You’re soul searching, perhaps having an existential crisis. You can gain great wisdom during this time if you’re open to what the universe wants to teach you. You’re working thru your inner demons. AND

Saturn in Capricorn transiting your 1st house: You are becoming more competent at mundane tasks. Others perceive you as more mature now.

Bear in mind that when Saturn was in Scorpio, he would have had a hurtful effect on whichever house(s) in your chart that contain Scorpio. As you can see, the sign a planet is in when it enters a house of yours makes a radical difference on how you feel it. Saturn isn’t happy in Scorpio, but Capricorn is Saturn’s domicile.

You know what seems prevalent in the tumblr witch community? Resource blogs that don’t want to help. Personal blogs that claim they’ll help any newbie, and then giving no help at all.

“It’s in my FAQS.” “Check my tags.” “Our followers can give you information. *post has 4 notes and not a single follower has given aid*”

Come O N guys :(

As someone who has had to give those sorts of answers before, I’ll give you some reasons as to why a resource blog might say those things (and this isn’t going to be meant as rude or anything, just a “hey, I see your complaint, this is my response” sorta deal) :

- A lot of very “popular” witchcraft blogs get a lot of asks daily. Like a lot. I recall so many occasions where I had to delete all the asks in my ask box and start over because I was just too overloaded - like 100+ questions, I’d answer ten and get fifteen more the next time I checked. This happens to a few of us that I know of, probably more. Because of the amount of asks and traffic our blogs get, we can’t afford to spend like 15 minutes answering each question completely, especially if we’ve already answered similar questions before. We have energy limits, and time frames - we have lives outside the blogs.

- We might redirect you to other posts or a FAQ page because we get that sort of question a lot, and instead of retyping it all, it’s easier to send you straight to the source / original post. Sometimes someone else has said it better than we could, and instead of seeming like we’re just copying what they said, we’ll send you straight to their post so they can get credit. It’s either that, or copy-paste stuff (which can be hard when on mobile, particularly in regards to asks), because a lot of us just do not have that time or energy to keep re-answering the same questions every day. It gets tiring, and honestly a bit boring, and frustrating. It seems like no one cares to scroll down a bit to see what we said a day or so earlier; I’ve had people ask questions that I had just answered literally 5 minutes ago, it was at the top of my blog and everything. It’s disheartening.

- Another thing I’d like to note, it’s really sad to see one line asks in the ask box saying “uses for [crystal]” or “spells for [topic],” without any “hey how are you?” or “please and thank you!” We are people running these blogs, with feelings, and it really sucks when we’re treated like Google. Especially since half the time the answers can be found on Google. We still take the time to answer it, or, in my case, spend three hours compiling lists of spells to be as thorough as possible. But it’s still really sad, and hurtful. Sometimes, it would be easier just to Google it and research that way, because it can take some of us a long time to get through the asks that have piled up and get to your question at all.

- It is really hard to answer and link posts properly on mobile. It takes a very long time. Sometimes I just don’t have the time to spend hours putting spell lists together - I don’t even have internet at home, I do it at the library and such, and thus my time online is limited, I don’t really wanna spend all of it copying and pasting links - so the best I can do is direct someone to the tags. It would be the same amount of time for a person to look themselves, as it would be for us and them waiting for the answer going, “are they even going to respond to me?”

- Sometimes I literally cannot give you the information. Either I don’t know, or I don’t have any formal experience to give an opinion. Regardless, we all have limits to our knowledge, so we do what we can and hope that a follower may have some info. If they don’t, though, there’s not much we can do. We didn’t have the answer, we tried to pass it off, but nothing happened. Can we really be blamed for our followers not knowing either? We’re only human - we don’t know everything, and there seems to be a lot of pressure on blogs like this to know everything. It’s getting harder and harder to say “I don’t know” on here.

I’m sorry that you have had those experiences, and it comes off so negatively to you. I really am sorry you haven’t gotten the help you need on here.

We are trying, really, that’s all I can say. We try our hardest within our limits to do what we can. Please remember, we’re not obligated to be here - we’re giving up our time and energy to try and help you guys out. Sometimes it’s a bit lacking, because other things may have gone on, and we’re tired, or we’re just not feeling it. But we are human, we do have limits, but we still try all we can for you guys.

It’s no like we don’t want to help - if we didn’t, we wouldn’t be here at all, we would have the asks box and messaging function closed, we wouldn’t respond at all. We do want to help, just sometimes it gets hard for various reasons.

I also apologize if this came off as rude, it wasn’t meant to be - I am just trying to answer your questions. I hope that does shed some light on it for you, answer your inquiries.

I’m going to address this in possibly a little less than nice way, I’m not going to sugar coat it (though I doubt you meant anything seriously negative, op). I understand the frustration, especially when you first start out. When you don’t know where to start, things can seem a bit overwhelming. But what you need to understand, what everybody needs to understand, is that those of us who run advice/resource blogs, we’re still people. I work full time, I go to school full time, I’m trying to start my own cosmetic line, the only free time I really have is my weekends (which are spent sleeping and cleaning), and between classes/breaks at work. Understand that all of us have been there, we know what it’s like to start out and not know where to begin. But you have to learn to do stuff on your own. I can’t hold your hand the entire journey, you have to learn to search for your own information. Directing you to faqs and resources/tags is the farthest thing from not helping. I have both a FAQ and resources page set up, they took me hours each to set up, and I try to update them when I have the time. When I get 50+ messages a day, generally about the exact same thing, do you really thing I want to answer each one with the exact same answer? I physically cannot, I don’t have the time. So instead I put it in my FAQ and send people to them. You need to do some of the work on your own, that isn’t us not helping you. It’s actually the complete opposite. The skill to be able to research topics and seek out information on your own is something you’re going to need in your life. The way a lot of these resource and advice blogs are set up (with faqs and such) are a nice middle ground to help you do that. It helps narrow down the information so that it doesn’t feel like you’re having to search from scratch, but it’s still helping you learn how to seek knowledge on your own. As for the response to asking followers, we’re not jesus. I don’t know everything there is to know. Nobody on here knows literally everything. That’s why we see if someone who’s following us does. We all have our strong skills and ones we have no idea about. Be grateful that we’re at least trying to see if someone else would know, instead of just saying I don’t know, sorry! We’re human beings, with feelings, I cannot stress that enough. You’re not obligated to our time an energy, even if we are running an explicit resource blog only. We are people and you are not entitled to my time, energy, and mental wellbeing. You have to do work yourself, I will not baby you and hold your hand every step of the way.

straight men repress their feelings so severely with their friends and family, and then they come across a girl (whos been socialized to be Empathetic and Nurturing) and they find that they can tell this girl about their Feelings ! everythings great she’s The One ! in reality they just have a normal human bond but actually connecting with anyone is so foreign to men and their emotionally barren male relationships that it seems like something great and wonderful. so now girl is put on a pedestal that she’ll eventually fall from bc she’s human and not just a Male Feelings Receptacle and everyone loses all bc fathers refuse to cry in front of their sons
