do you look like me?
do you feel like me?
Do y'all have that one story?
That one story that was your first BIG project as a creator, your first passion?
And as you’ve grown in your art maybe you’ve realized it was cliche or a little ridiculous or just generally not as good as you thought it was back then, but you still hold it near and dear to you because it was your first thing and it consumed you and it showed you what it was like to really create?
Those stories are important to our history as writers and they should be treasured and loved forever even if you’re no longer actively working on it
Never forget that one story

I dream of a tree sometimes. A weirwood, like the one in the godswood. It calls to me. The wolf dreams are better. I smell things, and sometimes I can taste the blood.

Here’s your daily reminder that everyone in the books loves and admires Bran and remembers him best by his laugh and his smile:
- her sweet, loving Bran
- the sweetest of her children, the gentlest, Bran who loved to laugh and climb and dreamt of knighthood
- “He is a sweet boy, quick to laugh, easy to love”
- “And Bran … when I left the north, he had not opened his eyes since his fall. I had to go before he woke. Now I can never return to him, or hear him laugh again.“
- They do not know. And if they did, why should they care? They never knew my sons. Never watched Bran climb with their hearts in their throats, pride and terror so mingled they seemed as one, never heard him laugh,
- “I dreamed of Bran,” Sansa had whispered to him. “I saw him smiling.”
- “Bran was a sweet boy. Everyone loved him.”
- Why should Bran want to haunt him? He had been fond of the boy, had never done him any harm.
- Part of him wanted nothing so much as to hear Bran laugh again
- Bran used to love to climb. I wish I had a tenth part of his courage.
But I remember so much else now.
