1978 - The Amazing Energized Spider-Man by Remco
I had the "climbing" Spider-Man when I was a kid way back then. It was hard plastic, about a foot tall. It had a string hook thing that came out of his arm and you could attach it to something and then the string would pull Spidey up. Simple, but I had tons of fun with the thing. I remember being amazed when I saw there was also a Green Goblin version. Never got it, but thought it was cool.
