French/Dutch animated series, BARBAPAPA (1974). Loved it as a kid. So 1970s. It had everything: weirdness, a positive message about harmony and diversity, style, innocence, wisdom, a sweet title tune. My favorite character was Barbabeau, the black and furry one, who had artistic aspirations. He was sensitive and often withdrew to paint, draw, or sculpt—he didn’t fit in, when the Barbapapas were freaks anyway among all the hip 1970s humans.
Loved this as a kid. Had a book or something that had their home with each family member having a different space with their interests. Loved it.
