Clementine Comic Preview!
Hey walking dead fans, found some old stuff from TFS in a sketchbook I forgot about. The first 2 images are my thumbs for the scene in episode 3 where Clem and James talk before they sneak into the herd. It was actually the last scene I really got to shoot myself at telltale, as the way the whole James boyfriend thing was supposed to look was so specific in my mind I just had to do it myself. The thumbs are pretty accurate to how the scene went in the final! I’d been just directing for so long it was great to actually do a scene by hand again.
The third image is the first sketch I made of the episode 4 cave so environment could create a layout. As you can see I imagined a bit more cave than we were able to afford (that bit you squeeze through was intended to be much longer) and the river crossing puzzle uses a wooden pallet instead of a log, but the general flow remained the same. There was at one point a very loose idea that there would be like, walkers coming out of muddy pits but that clearly never happened.
Anywho, thought someone might find this interesting!
Some people might not like me saying this but i really liked the concept they had of Violet either leaving the group or staying depending on your choices.
It really would add some real gravity to your choices, especially if they really weaved all choices throughout all four episodes that led to her final choice. That way, if you fucked up and she left, you wouldn’t have any other choice but to go back to the first episode, which could be frustrating but also really ingrain that every choice matters.
I personally prefer Violet losing her eye -except instead of losing it in the explosion, the delta does it to her- rather than her leaving. Violet’s tough and she’s intelligent, but going alone would definitely get her killed. She’d had to constantly scavenge food for herself, she wouldn’t have a bed to sleep in, and alone, she’s no match for any group of assholes who jump her or a herd of walkers who corner her. I’m not suggesting that she doesn’t have any survival skills, because obviously she does, but her odds of surviving alone are incredibly low.
“You’ve lived in walls your whole life. You have no idea what it’s like out there.”
She doesn’t, and if we let Violet go, she’d as good as dead and I don’t like that at all. On top of that, imagine what that would do to your relationships with Louis and Tenn? And the others? Louis would be devastated about Violet leaving and that might cause some tension between him and Clementine. And since Violet was so close with Tenn, and assuming he lives, he’d be pretty upset, too.
But again, that’s the consequence of your choices, y’know?
Choices that could matter
- Fishing with Vi or Hunting with Louis. If you went fishing with Louis she doesn’t trust you as much considering in her eyes you didn’t even try and get to know her.
- If you went fishing with Vi could you convince her to forgive Broody? If you convinced her to convince Broody she trusts you a lot more and that’s a point to her staying.
- Appealed to Violet or appealed to Louis. If you appealed to her that’s a point to her staying. It makes her feel like Clem trusts her.
- Telling Vi to shoot to run from Abel. If you tell her to run that’s a point to her staying because she feels like Clem cares about her safety.
- Romancing or best friending Violet is a point to her leaving. She feels like Clem knows her feelings better then anyone and disregarded them.
Of course dialogue choices would matter greatly to!
Yes!
These ideas are great!
tbh i doubt many people are actually interested in this stuff like i am, but i recently downloaded the model files for the s4 characters and i just wanted to share all the kids’ eye colors bc i think it’s super cool!!!

Disney’s Pencil Test for Frozen (2013)
I don’t think Disney is aware that their movies look so much better in two dimensions
That comment reminds me of another comment for which I can’t recall the source; paraphrased, “The best CGI now will always look outdated ten years from now, but awesome drawings will always look like awesome drawings.”
Orchestra AU! Every accompanist pianist has once had to share the stage with that one beautiful cellist from the strings section, who makes it ten times more difficult to get the notes right.

Wordcount: 3865
A/N: I came up with this idea at 2am last night, and I just had to do it. I wanna give a huge shoutout to @the-walking-memelords and @xscullyx for helping with the details, and for being all around awesome!
As always, comments and reblogs and hugely appreciated. Enjoy!
“What do you mean you don’t like the Beatles?”
Louis stared dumbfounded at Clementine, leaning against a tree. His favorite weapon, ‘Chairles’, was propped up against the trunk. Clementine stood a few feet ahead of him, checking the rope of yet another trap.
“I was never a fan of them,” she admitted with a shrug. “They were overrated if you ask me.”
“I cannot believe I’m hearing this,” Louis exclaimed, crossing his arms. “Remind me again why we’re together?”
Clem turned around, grinning at her boyfriend. “Cause you love me to death and back?” she suggested, winking.
Huffing, Louis looked down and shook his head. “You’re lucky you’re beautiful,” he said, stepping to the side and inspecting another sprung trap. One of the nooses had caught a walker overnight, and he had had the pleasure to take it down. Sighing, he redid the knot like Aasim had taught him all those years ago. How did Aasim get out of hunting duty today? he thought ruefully.
we were like family once.
