Oh god, and slowly, just like the whole class knows, Lila starts noticing “oh shit, my first friend here really likes the Adrien kid I’ve been fawning over.” So she males a choice and decides she’s going to help Marinette with this.

And then, the outcome of Volpina’s involvement depends entirely on Marinette’s presence. That new Akuma attacks the school and Marinette is nowhere to be found? HOLY CRAP I HAVE TO SAVE MY SMALL BESTIE. CHAT NOIR AND LADYBOOGER. I’M ON YOUR SIDE FOR TODAY, ONLY BECAUSE MY FRIEND AND THE FUTURE-FATHER-OF-MY-GOD-CHILDREN ARe PROBABLY TRAPPED UNDER SOME JELLO AND I NEED TO SAVE HER.
