it actually hurts to look at these pictures. rob is talking and singing about his friend who passed away the week before jibcon. the song is on his and jason’s EP (”Dead End Street”), so it’s not a louden swain song.

it was very emotional for rob to sing it so close to his friend’s passing, and the entire crowd felt the grief with him. he got a standing ovation after this song - the closest we could get to a group hug. it was very special and I feel privileged to have been there.

This so accurately explains Cas’ comment at the end of 9.23 where he said, “I just want to be an angel” after being told Dean was dead. It’s much easier not to feel when the alternative is the profound pain of loss, hope, and love.

I just don’t know how Misha does this. I’ve seen him cry in other shows and movies and I feel like he conveys more emotions here in just his body language than any other role or scene I’ve ever watched. He doesn’t even have to shed a tear to make your heart break.
