So what are these visits?  I’m a queer Certified Nurse Midwife living and working in NYC.  Don’t worry if you’re not in NYC though - everything is online!  No matter where you live I can provide counseling, information, support, and education.  Depending on which state you live in, I can also write prescriptions, make diagnoses, order lab tests for you.  

So what does that mean?  That means that depending on what you’re looking for, I can help you with:

Who can enter the drawing?  Basically anyone who is not cisgender.  That includes trans men, trans women, non binary people, gender queer, gender fluid, gender questioning, and all other gender identities.

I use Project Queer as an outlet to inspire, motivate, and help educate fellow activists - and even those who oppose our movement(s). My goal is to help others who are struggling in whatever way that I can. However, over the past couple months, my family and I have been hit with a lot of bad news and a series of horrible events that now has us struggling quite a bit to get by. 

And although it is very difficult for me to  ask for help, I must do so now. My girlfriend Tara and I have two teenaged kids and three cats. I have made a few posts online about my family’s past and current situation, which are outlined in the link above.

Folks who have donated to us this past month have been able to help us cover the following expenditures: - water bill $102 - vet bill and food $290 - internet bill $105 (2 months) - garbage bill $90 (3 months) - living expenses $150 (food and personal hygiene)

We are doing this fundraiser to take care of the following expenditures: - 2 months rent $948 - etsy bill $140 ✓ - electric bill $109 (1 month) ✓ - phone bill $371 (2 months past due) ✓ - car $60 (car parts and labour) ✓ - gas bill $230 (2 months past due) ✓ - debt we owe $1,200 (clients and family) - testosterone prescription $40

We are trying to raise these funds as soon as possible to not only take care of all of our bills and debt, but also food and other living expenses until we can figure out our LINK card and tax return situation. UPDATE: My tax return came and went quickly since we have not received LINK card help. It took care of most of our bills (outlined and checked off above), but not all of our debts and expenditures. Our landlords are working with us right now, but we fear that this will not be the case for much longer. All of the help that we have received thus far and are continuing to receive means the world to us. My family and I are eternally grateful knowing that folks are there for us in our time of need. And we cannot express that enough. Thanks to all who are spreading the word about this, giving us words of encouragement, and/or donating to us.
