#Repost @the360approach (with @report.for.insta) ... ‘Sugar free for at least 3!’ Is our next Heart Health Month Challenge. There’s so many reasons to remove added sugar from your diet. Did you know ‘added sugar is a main culprit in the obesity epidemic, but normal-weight people can suffer the same health problems associated with too much sugar. A 15-year study found that eating high amounts of added sugar doubles the risk of heart disease, even for people who aren’t overweight. Added sugar has also been implicated in an increased risk for Type 2 diabetes, cancer, stroke and even Alzheimer’s disease.’ There’s so many reasons to say no to added sugar and take this challenge for 3, 5, or 7 days. There’s a link in our profile from a NYTimes article giving you some tips on how to cite the sugar. .. .. .. #livewell #livebetter #live360 #healthyliving #healthyeating #lifestyle #fitness #hearthealth #health #wellness #goals #sugarfree #fitterdurham #durhamnc #downtowndurham #bullcity (at Durham, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8trXdWJA8Z/?igshid=rlpofzuhty2b
