Oh! Not to mention the one time the devs for the gacha game he was making demanded a character in a swim suit to boost sales… so Yoko Taro designed a super attractive female character… and then put her in a full body diving suit so you could only see her face lmao

The first nier game(not the first game in the timeline, but whatever) features an intersex woman and a gay man. Being Kainé and Emil respectively.

The game itself then actually handles alienation and discrimination faced by said characters.

To my knowledge neither were treated as jokes in the game, and Kainé is even treated as a genuine love interest for the cis male lead character with it being stated directly that he loves her back.

Keep in mind that this game originally released in 2010

as a reward for doing a month of ink studies, i bought an ink i've had my eye on for years!! looking forward to using it more!!

this is Emerald of Chivor; a pretty teal color with a red sheen and gold shimmer. its the first time I'm using an ink with shimmer! since its a blue shade, it's a lot darker than my gold ink. i can probably get a wide range of values if i dilute it smartly. love the red sheen!

for my month of studies, the inks i used were Colorverse's Ginkgo Tree and Golden Leaves! i mostly used Ginkgo Tree. it created beautifully rich brown lines, and when diluted with water it became a lovely gold. i used Golden leaves for little accents in other pieces; it's a bright and clear yellow hue!

not my usual art style but here is oddish as a turnip variant
