SacredTimeline!Ulfr Wonders…

Okay, so I know Ulfr’s Basic Bio doesn’t change at all, but after that - after his wife/mate dies - it’s sorta wide open. 

For the TVA piece I know his “Sacred Timeline crime” is that he kills Loki - either in a random run-in after Thor (before Thanos finds Loki) or during Avengers in his own escape from SHIELD.

The bigger question is: If Ulfr watches his own Sacred Timeline-based life, what’s it like? If he simply never meets Loki face-to-face, how does his life unfold? 

Does he return to Jotunheim? Settle down? Perhaps become king of Jotunheim and die either honorably or peacefully after a long reign?? Or does in continue his adventures and make trouble across the universe(s)? Does he die as prisoner, in a bar fight, at the hands of some jealous lover, or some other way? 

What do you think? What would you like to see in Ulfr’s SacredTimeline Reel??

I like the idea of something angsty!

Both you ( @ultrarebelheart ) and @lady-crowned-with-stars seem to want some angst...I admire this, lol! So here’s two thoughts I had that may satisfy...

Rather than killing Loki in a chance meet (like the “Variant” does) it is Ulfr who sort of directs Thanos Loki’s way in that time between Thor and Avengers. After that Ulfr returns to Jotunheim and manipulates his way to the throne. He’s a good king and finds he can use his new position as cause to travel if he wishes. However, he remains detached from the rest of his people on whole as he forever feels out-of-step with his people. When Thanos shows up to “balance” the realm he rallies armies, only to be utterly defeated...Ulfr remains defiant to the end, his life ending much like Loki’s - in the snap of his neck by the Mad Titan.

OR

Rather than killing Loki during his escape from SHIELD (like the “Variant” does) he leaves Midgard and goes on the run, continuing his adventures. Having missed the opportunity to end his enemies - Loki and Thor - he begins to spiral. Growing angrier and more reckless Ulfr finds himself wanted by many various worlds. He does find love again, a love that settle’s him enough to curb his worst behaviors, and brings them along on less dangerous travels. However, in Thanos’ “snap”, Ulfr’s love is dusted. Distraught at the loss, unable to achieve his driving goal of revenge against the Odin family, Ulfr turns himself in for execution on one of the many planets he’s wanted. ...He ends his own life before the sentence can be carried out, unwilling to let another decide his ultimate end.

Honestly, I can go either way on when Ulfr does/doesn’t kill Loki no matter the rest...I feel like the first is very Ulfr, but the second obviously fits into FrostBitten (of course, that’s it’s own AU so...yeah). I’m still open though, these are just two ideas, lol!

Does anyone know (from the comics or from understanding electrical things) what the collar is; is it a tracker? a shock collar?

If not forced to wear muzzles, then it’s chains, obedience disks and slave collars. 

I’m really hoping it somehow prevents him from using magic, whatever else it does. The lack of magic in the trailer has me a little worried, but I’ll go along with it if they give us a solid reason that he can’t (unlike Ragnarok and Infinity War 🙄).

And @miskiett , your comment has made me quite angry on Loki’s behalf. You’re right, and I hope we get to watch him gleefully putting his captors in their place!

To answer other posters, Deadpool 2 and other Marvel movies had collars that looked nearly just like this that would block mutants from their powers so my guess is that it’s meant to keep Loki from his...though whether it’ll work or not on Loki remains to be seen. (I’m guessing no, or not for long lol!!)
