Planet Earth II (2016) Episode 01 “Islands” Directed by Elizabeth White
The Night Manager S1E03
Hey Loki, you still answering questions? If so, how do you feel about swimming?
I am, yes...I’ve taken over my writer’s ask box until August 1, if our accord is recalled correctly. I enjoy swimming greatly and prefer natural bodies of water when I can. (Chlorine does such damage to my hair.) And, unlike my writer, I’m quite a skilled swimmer having learned on Asgard as a child. The only thing I dislike is being splashed, especially by Thor who finds it hilarious when I’m struck in the face with one of his massive, “playful”, waves.
((I’m guessing Loki’s swam all over the realms, might even find it both relaxing and rejuvenating...especially when on his own, just listening to the waves or animals by the water. Good question, Anon!!))

Who do you like better, Lady Gilrin Loki or Ulfr?
❝I cannot possibly comment. I’d rather not choose, between them.❞
@wickednerdery Thought you’d appreciate this ask that I got from a curious anon. ☺😘
“Ah, come on, you know it’s me…I don’t see Loki stealing penguins for you.”
@lady-crowned-with-stars omg bless this anon…BLESS YOU ANON!!! 😘
“True, he may not steal penguins for me,” She agrees, grinning at him, before she continues in a playful tone. “But I think he may be inclined to buy them for me.” Gilrin lets out a laugh afterwards, unsure whether he would do such, but still.
“Well, I could buy them for you, if you wanted,” he smirks. “Just seems so much less fun. Also, who decided these penguins are property to be bought and sold? Perhaps I’m just…rightly freeing them. Animal rights and all that.” He’s less debating, taking a stand, as being playful…or playfully oppositional, depending on how one looked at it.
“Would you, now?” She quirks up one of her eyebrows, highly entertained by his answer. “Ah, so you became an animal right’s activist.” She giggles and her eyes lit up as she leans forward in her chair. “Well, I suppose buying them would be far less fun…” she nods, nibbling on her bottom lip. “Do you have anything else to add, as to why I should choose you, if I had to?” The elleth asks, head slightly tilted to the side, her tone is still light, as she doesn’t expect a serious answer.
He chuckles. “Sure, seems like a good thing to be and like animals more than some people so why not fight for them, right?” Ulfr nods in agreement, then smiles. “Beyond being more fun and the penguins thing? Um…no family drama? Tend not to try and take over every world I see?” He smirks. “Honest about who and what I am…” He stops there; he wants to win, but not upset her.
“Right, some animals do make better company than certain people.” She hums in agreement and smiles over at him as she looks up. “You make valid points, my dear.” Gilrin nods, though she is still unsure, her heart is torn into two. She appreciates his honesty and that he holds back his disdain towards his rival, she ponders whether Ulfr is choosing his words as carefully as he does because he wants to win. “You know, I half expected you to bring up that we went…if I use the midgardian term correctly then, skinny dipping together.” She playfully reminds him, her cheeks turning red at the thought of such.
Ulfr nods along, then chuckles at the mention of the skinny dipping. “Well, not to brag, but I’d have thought you’d remember that without my prompting.” He winks, laughs a bit more. He was kinda, totally, bragging.
