Bold of you to presume I don’t already have children. Hahaha!! I don’t though, not to my knowledge anyway...hmmm... Anyway, I wanted children with my mate, a son, certainly, and as many as others as she would bare. Since she died I haven’t given it much thought outside times it’s beyond my control though.
This is a little peek into Jotun culture as well...wanting a son, having a LOT of children, would be considered normal for their people. Ulfr’s no different in that, except maybe he’s only thought of children when in reference to his mate and not just, haha, any being who might be able to bear them. The “when it’s beyond my control” statement is referring to when he goes into Jotun heat, at which point he’s generally only thinking about breeding regardless of anything/anyone else lol!

I’m calling bullshit on my own character here...he’s fucking lying or, at least, holding back, lol! Let me explain:
I was rereading old headcanons for Ulfr here and did a whole thing on him and children and this guy right here? He WANTS kids. Yes, some of it is still simple Jotun culture of wanting an heir, someone to carry on his bloodline and the Jotun species in general, but not all of it. He wants someone to teach Seiðr to, someone to show the love his mother showed him. Maybe he isn’t actively seeking the creation of child at the moment, maybe he doesn’t dare to dream at the moment, but he absolutely wants them and, I imagine, whenever he’s around children he’s thinking about having his own.
I confess, while I just write what the characters tell me at the time, this answer felt off to start and, haha, not in the least because I know children (with The Bold One) briefly entered his mind during FrostBitten. Naughty Ulfr, making me look bad, lol! ...Sorry about that @lady-crowned-with-stars I don’t know what got into him with this one, lol!

Haha, yeah, I’m certain he’d be into knocking you up…and, while I didn’t think of it, the vulnerability it creates for you, the way it may cause you to want/need to stick around, is SO up his alley if he’s obsessed with you, lol!! And we know he’s got no issues having sex with pregnant women so, again, pro-preggo, lol!!
The actual kid I’m not so sure about. I don’t see him harming it (if it’s his) - unless he’s really hungry, heh (I’m sorry!!) - but I also see him disinterested/really frustrated by a baby/child.

I think it’d be lowkey at the start of the film, but as things progress - and certainly at the end when he feels “more in charge of himself” and talks of leading the second building into the new world (or however he puts it) - he’d be increasingly into it.
What do you all think out there? Would Laing have a breeding/pregnancy kink??
((And, as a side curiosity, would he just be into knocking you up, or would he be into being a dad?? Cause, haha, him with Toby man…I don’t know, lol!!))

Like goddamn I really made myself upset thinking about how the entire trajectory of Loki’s arc could have been altered if Odin and Frigga had been slightly more comfortable expressing verbal and physical affection? As in, expressing it at all?

God just. Look at how blank his face is. How he’s hiding all the fear and turmoil and anger he unleashed on Odin. He doesn’t trust her anymore, after such a huge betrayal. How can he? But he’s also probably afraid of pushing her away by being angry at her, so he just shoves it all down. What the fuck kind of damage does it do to be betrayed by someone so close to you, but they’re still basically the entirety of your emotional support system? Ugh still crying about Thor 2k18.
As a parent, I just… I see things I would handle so differently in this whole mess.
I’m not a parent (and not interested in becoming one) but even I’m like “I could do better than this.”
