okay but if lycanthropy is blood-transmissable, as the traditional biting suggests it may be, would not the *rest* of the recipient's body *also* turn into a wolf body? Imagine going to the hospital with kidney failure and coming out with werewolfism, instead.

maybe it’s only transmissible via saliva while in Wolf Mode, so you can technically have a lycanthropic organ just... alive in your body and transforming, but unable to spread the infection to other tissues or people

ha ha wouldn’t you feel like an asshole if you were like, a wealthy and corrupt mob boss in need of an organ donor so you invite your estranged elder brother who lives off the grid in Wyoming to come visit you and help you “sort out your affairs” and then once you’ve confirmed he’s a match you have your private surgeons anesthetize him and steal his liver or something

and then it’s great, it’s not like anyone noticed he went missing, you totally just got away with fratricide... and then one day you wake up naked in the woods covered in goat entrails

if that wasn’t bad enough, apparently your brother was part of some kind of weird rural gay subculture and all these lumberjack-lookin’ ranchers keep leaving you voicemails asking his whereabouts and whether or not he passed on his “gift” to you

Pirate Loki for my Pirate!AU :3 I will try to make a comic out if it or a storyboard kind of thingy.                                                                                     

here is a little backstory :

He is the son of an infamous pirate Laufey and an unknown prostitute.After his mother died while giving birth to him Laufey tried to get rid of his son. Odin (a former pirate hunter) found him on the open sea in a small barrel/box.  He took him home and adopted him with his wife Frigga. He was a very clever kid, Frigga taught him how to read and write before he started  going to school, he even learned how to speak spanish and french when he was only 13. He liked to read with his mother and to play with his  big brother Thor :3 But his favorite thing to do was visit the docks with Odin and listen to tales and sea shanties from the sailors while his dad was working with other captains.One day while they were heading home they witnessed a hanging , turned out the soldiers hanged a very dangerous pirate named Laufey. Loki looked him in the eyes and he somehow remembered a little of his real father. After they got home Loki confronted Odin about this, Odin told him the truth and they had a big fight. That night Loki packed his belongings and ran away from home , he went to the docks and sneaked up to a pirate ship. Turned out it was Blackbeards ship the Queen Anne’s Revenge.  (I’m sorry , but I just had to put him in this AU he is just too cool :P ) Loki talked to him and asked for work. Blackbeard hired him. After a while he took a liking to the young boy seeing how smart and cunning he was. He started to teach him about sailing, and even taught him how to fight. When he turned 19 Blackbeard made him his deckmaster.As time passed Blackbeard told Loki that it was time for him to “ move out “ and he gave him a ship and some man to work with.So Loki became a captain and from there on he became the most feared pirate of the seven seas >:D  

Aaaand for now I think thats it :”D I’m pretty proud of myself I’m usually terrible at thinking out backstory for characters , Oh and also I even found the perfect theme song for Pirate Loki:

You should defintely check out this band if you are into pirate/sailor tunes :D or if you want to write/draw some pirate themed stuff but don’t have enough inspiration :3 they are fuckin’ awesome
