There is no way in the nine realms anyone is sending Loki away at such a time. They can try, of course, but they’d have to contend with the powers, determination, and (possibly) wrath of a god. It’s not simply a matter of you and your child needing him, it’s a matter of him being unwilling to give up the power and control of such matters to others. Even if he seemed willing to leave, he’s not leaving. He’ll be there no matter what anyone says.

Why I No Longer RP & Am Breaking From FanFic
(To be fair, both helped my writing immensely in the beginning - they allowed me to practice character development and try different writing styles amongst other things - but eventually they were detrimental in that they pulled me from original pieces. They became a crutch and way not to face the real world...I'm getting older, I can't afford to continue as if I'm in my teens or even 20s and expect to get published.)
