With everything going on, Ralph is super needy and wants you with him, but of course, he won’t tell you this, so he just sits in his chair like this, watching you as you go out for your girls night…
“No, no, it’s fine. Go out, have fun. I’ll just, you know, be here. Working on stuff.” …And then he follows you around from the moment you get home into the next day.
And it’s a week later, and now you’re going on that business trip outta town. The one you’ve been dying to go on…and the one he’s been dreading, praying and hoping it’s canceled. But it’s not canceled, and now it’s time to head to the airport, and poor Ralph, he’s even more clingy, and you’re getting annoyed with him because you’ve got a million and one things to do, but you don’t want to hurt his feelings by telling him that he’s driving you insane!
Finally, you’re all packed and ready, and you’re sitting at your desk, trying to make sure your flight and room are taken care of, and you look up to see Ralph trying to make you smile as he shows you a pic he’s just scribbled on a notepad.
“Who does this look like?”

“It looks like you, whenever I leave.” You smile, then laugh a bit.
“Well...” He cracks his own smile, setting the sketch down. “I can’t say you’re wrong.” Then he grows serious again. “You really have to go?”
“I really have to go. And I really have to go, right now.”
He groans as he gets up, not wanting to even think about it. About being alone, without you. “I’ll drive you.”
“As long as you don’t put some kind of police tracker on my luggage or something.”
“That would be illegal without a warrant.”
“And?”
His smile flickers back. “And there wasn’t enough probable cause to get one.”

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise)you consider an influence?
When I was younger, I was heavily influenced by Anne Rice, Bret Easton Ellis, Jerzy Kosinski, and Anthony Burgess (specifically A Clockwork Orange)…no wonder I got such unsure looks from my English/Writing teachers, right? Haha!! Later in life I’d consider Gillian Flynn and Stephen King (I was too much of a wimp to read him when younger) pretty big influences.
Fanfic wise I’d say @sleepless-nights-with-your-king (who got me into writing Loki to begin with AND inspired my FrostBitten and We Could Be So Good Together, among other pieces), @endlessstairway (who inspired my foray into slavery/thrall collars in Enthralled and HoarFrost Hel), @crazytxgradstudent (who got me to write both The Purge and Kingdom fics), @wadeyouwitch (who inspired my mixing lyrics into fic for tone), @lukeevansandjdmobession and @flames-bring-a-ton-of-ash for all their Negan stuff, and especially an ex/still friend of mine who was also a fanfic writer and taught me a TON of things, including how to write smut, lol!
((There are more I could mention because, in truth, everyone I read influences me in some way whether in concept, style, or merely in a general, indescribable way, haha!))
