((Seriously, if I thought moving to another country was the vaguest of options, I’d so be gone by now.))
hey, it's probably a stupid question you answered like a million times already, but where are you from? and also, is English your native language? (if you're from English speaking country, just ignore the second question lol) love your writing btw!! ❤️
Not a stupid question and, in fact, I’ve never been asked, haha! I am from a city just outside Boston, Massachusetts, USA and (because it’s still a relevant question) English is my native language.
((Between some key Bostonians - including Chris “Captain America” Evans - and the very cliché Bostonian accent and speech I had to share it. I do not, in fact, have this signature accent, but, if asked, I can do it, haha!))
I believe that every american should at least watch this monologue from The Newsroom
First Aired June 24, 2012.
When you find out the Americans are watching Dark with English dubs instead of watching it in German and reading the subtitles
I’d like it known - because I’m American - I do NOT do this...Not with Netflix’s Dark, not with any foreign film. Beyond not liking the aesthetics - it sounds off, I want to hear the original actors voices - I find I actually learn the language it’s in far better/easier, which I love.
