Laurel - Is there a major victory you’ve achieved in your life? if so, what is it?

Ummm...I got outta the H.Y.D.R.A. labs all by myself, that was pretty big. Also I once brought back Cyclops from the dead and he says he’s “forever” in my debt, which is nice, I think. Oh oh! And I ate a whole tub of cookie dough faster than anyone else in the mansion.

Emerald - If you could be immortal, would you want to be?

Haha, I am immortal! I never thought much about it though because I just come back. But I like it, I like bringing other people back too. It’s nice to able to save and fix them. I just don’t like the seizures or headaches that come with it though, they make me sleepy and cranky for days after. 

Army - Do you have a fighting style? If so, what is it?

Yup, I sure do! Mostly I just spar, which is play-fighting. I don’t like fighting much, I try not to, but I can. I call it dance-fighting because that’s what everyone else calls it. See...

I have an idea of how Gabe got out of the lab and, it’s actually pretty gruesome for the H.Y.D.R.A. folks, hahahaha!! I think, in general, Gabe doesn’t think about his powers, he doesn’t see how extraordinary they are (or he is), he just thinks “I can fix/stop this” and does it, lol! And I can’t promise you’ll ever actually see him fight hand-to-hand if only because, once he gets to the level where fighting is necessary, he usually just uses his powers to do what he needs to and then takes off, haha! Ehehehehe, awww, so do I...In fact....

Ash’s chuckle grows to laugh as he watches Gabe stuff another significant portion of dough into his mouth. By his account they’ll only have enough for one tray of cookies by the time it’s properly portioned.

“Stop that,” Lynk orders without any real firmness. Gabe eats anything sugary he can get, she knows this. Yet, she never refuses to make sweets with the other when she drops by the mansion. She never gets mad when he ends up eating everything before it’s completed. It’s like getting mad at a kid; only dicks are mean to kids.

Gabe’s eyes flick to Ash, who wags playfully scorning finger at him, before relenting and dropping his spoon in the sink with a pout. “They take too long.”

“To make?”

“To cook.”

Lynk smiles a touch, which is a lot for her.

Another laugh escapes Ash before he finally speaks. “I know it’s frustrating, Gabe, but if you eat it all right away, there will be no cookies for later.”

“Also eating the dough can make you sick,” Lynk adds. At least they managed to cover one tray...last time it was only half a tray, if that.

The child-like mutant laughs. “Yeah, but I can fix that.”

Lynk gives Ash a pleading look - help him understand, help me to get him to stop - but Ash only shrugs. “Well, he’s not wrong.” 

“Yeah, see, I’m not wrong,” Gabe says, already having taken a spare lollipop to keep the sugar rush going.

And nothing bad happens to them ever, hahaha!! 😁Honestly, this was a delight and a relief to write after all the darkness I’ve been writing - with and without them - so bless you for that, @ultrarebelheart!!

Mint - Does Ice cream exist in your world? If so, what is your favorite Ice cream flavor?

Yes, it sure does! There’s all kinds too, which is great. I like most, but my favorite is probably cotton candy. It’s super sugary, for one, and for another it’s really pretty and colorful.

Peacock - Are you a more flashy person, or do you like to blend in?

Ummm...I don’t know. Some say I’m weird, but I wanna fit in. I don’t think that’s the same as blend in though, is it? I like helping and making friends, but I don’t, you know, brag. ...This question is hard.

Arctic - Do you prefer warm or cool weather?

Warm! In H.Y.D.R.A.’s lab it was always chilly like when the AC is on, they called it “climate controlled”, and I didn’t like it there so I like it when it’s warm now. I like snow though, but that’s not cool weather, that’s cold weather and, really, I just like the snow part, not the cold part.

Denim - What is your fashion style?

Most say I don’t have any style. I like to be comfortable, but don’t like sweats. I won’t even sleep in sweats. Sometimes I wear suits because people take me more seriously when I do that. Professor X says I’ve got plenty of time to find my style still, so I’m not worried about it.

Eggplant - What’s the weirdest thing you’ve eaten?

I ate a bug once, but that was an accident. It wasn’t very good, but not as bad as most think it’d be either. On purpose I ate paper, but it was hide something so don’t tell! Also, I had pigeon once, but it wasn’t called pigeon, it was called squab. It was actually really good.

OMG Gabe is a precious bean that should be protected at all costs and now I feel even more terrible about what’s happened to him on Sakaar!!! Thank you for sending these all though, @ultrarebelheart, they’re so much fun to write and so helpful to me with character development!!
