Bro idk what it is with pieces of film about characters seeing dead or past versions of themselves throughout their lives and said character along with the viewer not realizing it was their dead/past selves until the very end but they have my entire goddamn heart bonus points if it’s a spooky and still a really well developed narrative

I... just finished The Haunting of Hill House AGAIN for the THIRD TIME and when I tell you i uncontrollably cried for a solid twenty minutes after........................thank u mike Flanagan for making me Feel So Much and creating such a fucking beautiful show that literally breaks me every time I finish it even though I absolutely knew what was going to happen and what I was getting myself into
