Ok but what about a human whumpee in a fantasy/scifi setting, collapsing in the wilderness, unable to stand the pain of their injuries any longer. Exhausted, they pass out right there on the ground, looking completely helpless just laying there. Then some members of another species unfamiliar with humans are traveling through that area, when they stumble across said human. They’re not really sure what they are or how to help them, but they sort of adopt them and carry them back to their home. Hours later, Whumpee opens their eyes to find confused and concerned creatures standing over them, speaking in a language they can’t understand. It doesn’t matter who rescued them, though— they’re warm, dry, and safe for now, and they appreciate the kindness of these strange creatures that found them.

Merlin and Gwaine were tailing Agravaine after he left Camelot, but at a reasonable distance to avoid being seen. They arrive at Morgana's hovel some time after he had gone in, and find Agravaine dead, Morgana nowhere to be found, and Lancelot bleeding out on the floor. Merlin immediately puts pressure on the most obviously serious wound on his left side and tries to take stock of Lancelot's condition, Gwaine waiting and ready to help Merlin treat the wounds.
