Think it's usually a two piece. He pulls the top on over his head like a shirt.

"realistically", his shirt would ride up if it's not attached in some way to the pants. I chose to believe that his shirt is a onesie/bodysuit with clasp at the crotch. then the pants go on top 😌 or shirt guarters

It actually makes a lot of sense that Bruce was one of the few people left standing in the crowd at Haly’s Circus when Dick’s parents died.

Watching two innocent people plummet to their deaths is gruesome. It’s shocking. It can be horribly traumatic, depending on the blunt force trauma of hitting the ground. They might not have died right away. They might have bled and made awful noises that were heard even above the sounds of the crowd.

But Bruce is Batman. Bruce saw his parents get murdered right in front of him. And he knows the sounds and sights of someone dying. He’s hardened himself to stay calm in a situation like that, both through trauma and practice.

I think the image of a young Dick Grayson making eye contact with the one unshaken person in the crowd is chilling. A man standing resolute when everyone else is screaming, sadness etched across his face. But not panic. Not confusion. Resignation, maybe.

I wanna know about the zombie AU!

Avatar

Yes!!! Sorry for the late response but I am almost the most excited about this one hahaha

Basically Bruce is the leader of a survivor’s compound and is oppressively vigilant and distrustful of the outside, will barely let Dick out to help on supply runs unless he’s going too, but then Damian gets taken.

Bruce wants a full lockdown and information before putting together a team, dick says fuck that I’m heading after him immediately

Meets a stranger on the road… thinks he can help… Dick probably shouldn’t talk to strangers.

Snippet with zombie typical violence/gore under the cut!

Day 4 - Chronic Pain

Nope, I'm not going to be able to be normal about this.

Kon watches Tim slowly lose his mobility. He keeps being a hero, keeps acting like Red Robin, and throwing everything into it, but outside of the suit, some days Tim can barely move. He lays in their bed and cries into his pillow because it hurts so bad. Then he makes himself get up, has to let Kon help him get ready, and then pretends to be a young, healthy ceo.

Eventually, Tim can't hide it from the public. He makes up an excuse, something to cover the fact that some days he needs a wheelchair and he can't help it. As Red Robin, he doesn't stop. He and Bruce are both wearing tech braces and modified, supportive suits so they can keep moving. But Bruce is in his 50s, and Tim's barely in his thirties.

Kon can see what's going to happen like he can see the future. One day, Tim's not going to be able to get out of the wheelchair, and he's never, ever going to be okay with it. He's always going to try to go back out. There will be no graceful acceptance, possibly no acceptance at all. One day, Tim may wake up resenting Kon with a venom that neither of them can overcome. Because Kon will have his full mobility. Kon won't have chronic pain. Kon will be the one carrying Tim to the toilet when he can't even stand to pee on his own anymore.

If Tim would stop now, if he would even slow down, they could delay the inevitable, he still might be able to walk by the time he's Bruce's age. He says he will, he even means it, but Kon knows he won't. The second there's need, Tim's out the door, doing everything he can to help. In Tim's mind, his future is never, ever as important as the people who need help now.

It's hard to argue with.

So, Kon does everything he can to help. He's learning everything he can about physical therapy and pain management. He's going to be a one-man Tim healthcare network.

He just has to hope that one day Tim won't look at him with hate in his eyes, because Tim can't move and Kon can.

Kon's grieving, grieving Tim's life, grieving their relationship, grieving what is going to be lost. He can't fight the tide. Batboys don't lay down and die, but they also don't lay down and heal either.

Kon knew exactly what he was getting himself into when he said yes to that first date. He wouldn't take back that yes, not for anything.

This is AMAZING (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
