“Show ‘em. Come on. Do it!”
When he heard they finally recovered the asset after the monumental failure of their last attempt, he was ecstatic. It was almost like a giddiness overcame him. That was it, that was the endgame, and he had won.
Before they even unload it off their vehicles he's already waiting, ready to congratulate them. And as they drag their captive into his view, he can't help but feel pride at what they were able to finally accomplish.
"Impeccable work, boys."
The asset stares him down with indignant eyes, but its tail pinned tightly between its legs betrays that show of strength completely: it is terrified. All signs pointed to a fierce fight before they managed to subdue and restrain it, the reminders of the scuffle painted in reds and purples across the asset's pale skin.
He pulls out the analog picture to confirm its identity but at this point it's a mere formality. He knows this is the real deal. Alive. Beaten and humiliated, but alive. He pushes the collar down slightly and can feel its muscles struggling against the automated restraints, pulling tighter on its limbs at the earliest signs of resistance. It still has the factory serials on its neck, just as expected. He pets its dark hair, condescendingly sweet.
"Hello, Horus. Welcome home."
Gun whumppppp
Pistol whipping, shoved into the soft vulnerable flesh of whumpee’s throat, forced into their mouth, the small of their back. Pulling the trigger right next to their head, missing by a couple inches on purpose. Pulling the trigger and it’s empty, but the anticipation and fear whumpee feels, not knowing that. Or just shooting them point blank.
Gun whump.
