I always wondered if this was weird, but I’ve always loved that trope of a character being naked, or needing to be stripped, and another character covers them up (bonus if it’s with a piece of their own clothing) and holds them to warm them and/or comfort them. This is especially good if the unclothed character is usually very modest, or is sensitive about something on their body. Or if the clothed character is unused to showing delicacy, or sensitivity. It’s tender, vulnerable and respectful.
Sharing clothes or a blanket! Sharing warmth!! It's just so soft, I love it
Do you have any ideas for ways a Whumper could indirectly hurt a whumpee? Other than like,, starving or leaving them in the cold.
- Leaving them in the heat instead
- Sensory deprivation or overload
- Make them work to exhaustion
- Verbal abuse/threats
- Solitary confinement
- Oxygen deprivation
- Sleep deprivation
- Dehydration
- Prolonged stress positions
- Humiliation i.e. public nudity
- Exposing them to their phobias
- Fostering paranoia by cameras always watching them
- Forcing them to perform the torture on themself
Hope some of those help!
sure getting your favorite fictional characters naked for sexy times is fun and all but have you tried when one's naked and cold and hurt and the other one tenderly puts fluffy soft warm clothes ON them???
Bonus points if it’s the caretaker’s clothes that they’re sacrificing to make their friend warm and comfortable
Whumper’s fingers creeping over the whumpee’s bare skin, making them shudder at how disturbingly gentle they are, only to suddenly dig harsh and rough into their nearest half-healed wound to rip it open again
Whumpee struggling their way through a shower but by the end of it they’re so overheated and exhausted that they just curl up under their towel on the bathroom floor, too weak to stay standing and get dressed.
Hero’s face burns as they flinch and struggle, futilely trying to cover themself as Villain’s eyes trail down their bare frame.
“My, my, Hero. If I had known how fetching you are under all that body armor, maybe I would have pulled some of my punches.”
Whumper hosing the naked whumpee down with chilly water and then abandoning them outside, tied up and gagged, in the winter cold.
A sick whumpee is just getting out of a warm bath, with the caretaker’s help. They’re trying to take it slow because the whumpee is achy and weak, but before the whumpee has a chance to even stand they’re forced to scramble frantically out onto hands and knees and get their head over the toilet now.
As they start throwing up, the caretaker gets down with them on the wet floor. “Oh, honey, I’m sorry...I’m sorry, just get it all out,” they murmur sadly, toweling the whumpee’s drenched, shaking body down.
There’s really something about nudity in whump that introduces a whole new level of physical and emotional vulnerability, you know? Not even in a sexual way; it’s just the physical manifestation of a character being stripped down to nothing. It takes away their dignity, their sense of pride in themself, their humanity. There really is an emotional aspect to a character being stripped, and I think it needs to be talked about more often.
And the feeling of being exposed - they can’t hide, there’s nothing private left, no physical imperfection or past scar that remains hidden…
And the fear of judgment from whoever sees -- either the whumper, who sneers and mocks them for their imperfections, or the caretaker, who looks on with sadness but also so much tenderness and love.
