Thinking about the designated driver being injured/ill but pushing through to make it to their destination and once they finally get there, swinging the door open and just falling out onto the ground in a heap

Gotta love when a character has a severe injury that just continues to get more and more severe as they continue to ignore it. At first it’s just occasional winces, then they start to move stiffly and hold the injured area, then they start to get pale and clammy, then the blood starts seeping through their clothes until eventually they’re drenched in it and they don’t even care to hide it any more, and eventually they basically just collapse, too tired to go any further. Just… yeah, that.
Self indulgent trope of the day: Whumpee A and Whumpee B get sick/injured at the same time but it’s obvious that Whumpee A is Caretaker’s favorite so B gets brushed aside even though they’re obviously in worse condition (Bonus points if Whumpee A cares more for B than they do and calls them out on it)
