What does getting hit with a cattle prod feel like?
Someone once compared it to getting a Charley horse cramp throughout your body, followed by intense soreness, muscle weakness/numbness and a welt where it made contact.
What are results of being hung from ones arms for a very long period of time?(like, a month.)
If in theory they could hold the position that long, their shoulders would dislocate and their muscles would atrophy at the least. In the case of a human whumpee, they would probably suffocate in only five to twenty hours.
As all of their body weight is being put on their arms and shoulders, their chest and lungs stretch in a struggle to breathe. The only way they can is to use leverage from their legs to lift themself up and take the weight off their arms to open their chest. That can be incredibly painful, though, and the more they do it, the weaker they’ll become and the longer they’ll have to take between breaths.
Whoever hung them there will need to let them down and give them breaks many, many times throughout that month if they want to keep them alive. But if it’s a non-human whumpee who can handle the strain, let them stay there!
Whumpee who is literally too tired or in too much pain to do anything but sob as they're beaten.
