Stoic Caretaker sentences for today

(W:) "It hurts" (C:) "That means it works. It will be over soon, I need you to stay patient for me"
(C:) "Did you do this on purpose?" (W:) "N-no, you know me! You know I would never-!" (C:) "Then why do you apologise so much for an accident? No one is upset with you, and certainly not me"
Whumpee slaps Caretaker's hand away during the treatment of the wound. (C:) "Listen, I know you are irritated and tired. I know it hurts, but I have to end to suture this, so it doesn't get infected. Do something for me and hold on the bedframe instead. I promise to make it quick."
Caretaker ends the argument of the Teammates by: "Let's stop arguing about who've done wrong and start to plan what we can do to make it right".
(T:) "But they said-" (C:) "They are in shock. What they want now is not good for their health."
(C:) "I know it's scary, but we have everything under control. Breathe deeply and trust me. Yes, like that. You are very brave, good job. It will be okay."

Scared Whumpee is begging his rescuers not to put him under.

He tries to push medic's hands away, but he's just too weak to fight. So helpless and desperate. The needle sticks in his neck. The sobs and pleas slowly quiet down as the sedative kicks in and he falls unconcious in Caretaker's arms.

And is sincerely surprised that the painkillers are an option.

Caretaker says to wait, he's going to grab some sedatives for them. Whumpee just starts laughing.
(C:)"I'm afraid this procedure will be-" (W:)"Let me guess: extremely painful?" (C:)"....- time-consuming. I need to ask you to sit still for a while"
"You don- you really don't have to do this! I can deal without it- Please, don't touch-"
"Can I ask you something before you start? W-would... Would you mind to... hit my head to... eh- to knock me out firts? I don't- I don't want to be awake for this" (C:)".....what?"
(W) "Shut up already! Just... Give me something to bite down on" (C:)"Why?" (W:)"...You know I could bite my tongue off without it, right? Are you sure you know what you're doing?" (C:)"...Whumpee for gods, I'm obviously going to put you under first".
"No. Don't waste your supplies of medicine on me. I can take it" (C:)"I know you can, but you don't have to"

"I know it hurts, but it's necessary. Now, bite it down. It will help"
"You've survived so much. You really want to give up now and die for such a stupid reason like dehydration? I know it's not pleasant but you have to force yourself to drink something"
"He's not coming for you, Whumpee. It's just not affordable for him to drop everything and hount you down. Finding new prey would be so much safer and easier in his position"
"Don't worry, you can tell me all that happened. It doesn't trigger me. It's hard to surprise me at this point"
"There's no need to apologise. I know people say a lot of hurtful things they don't mean when they are tired and in pain. I didn't take it to myself at the first place"
Caretaker seems so calm and distanced that Whumpee needs to be assured over and over that Caretaker still cares. The casual "Good night/good morning, by the way I love you"
"Still vomiting with blood, huh? It will be happening for a while until you clear your stomach. Your internal organs are fine now, it's just a postoperative effect"

And then Caretaker comes back alone to his room and lays down to relieve the stress in silence.
