A whumpee who ruins their Own life.

A whumpee who has everything in the world, but throws it away or wastes it.

A whumpee who lashes out at everyone, never letting anyone in.

A whumpee who knocks over glasses of water when offered.

A whumpee who is left alone because people don't want to deal with them.

A whumpee who hates themselves and believes that this is what they deserve.

and they almost get away but they get whacked across the head and kicked in the ribs and stars explode into their vision and everything hurts

An immortal whumpee, knowing that they can't die, so they throw themselves into peril over and over for their friends. Even though it hurts, they would rather let it happen to them then to lose their friends.

Two people who are enemies have to work together to achieve a common goal, but along the way they still don't trust each other and always sleep with one eye open or a gun under their pillow. They know that the other would could stab them in the back at any moment, but they can't leave either.

A whumpee gets trapped under a building after it collapses, and no one comes. They don't know where their phone is or even if anyone would come if they called, so they stay under the rubble as the walls cave in around them.

Wings, shielding someone else from an explosion. Shards of stone shatter the bone, but it doesn’t matter as long as they are safe.

But the protector can never fly again, and the crooked angle that one of their wings is held at is a constant reminder of what happened.

Winged Whumpee:

Whumpee and caretaker know each other well enough that they don’t need to verbally communicate. They’re so in tune with each other that it seems like they’re telepathically communicating to others.

They get separated, and don’t know how to communicate their needs to people anymore.

A whumpee turns immortal against their will. They never wanted to live forever. But now that they’re not going to die anyway, they throw themselves into dangerous situations without a second thought. They’re going to be fine, at least physically. 

A whumpee truly believes that they don’t deserve to be saved from the whumper. They don’t take the punishments to please the whumper or anything, they do it because in their eyes, it’s only fair payback for the things they’ve done.

A winged whumpee gets their wings mangled. Not fully cut off, so they can’t pretend to be human and get by like that. But mangled bad enough so they can never fly as well as they used to. Slowly, they start flying less and less. They’re stuck somewhere in between, not being able to be human, and not being able to take to the skies to escape them.

A whumpee has to be away from the caretaker for a little bit, so they have to communicate by phone. They call each other every night, until the calls stop without explanation.

A whumpee who used to love forests. They liked climbing the trees, playing in the river, befriending the animals.

They get captured by a forest spirit whumper. They poke them with sharp branches, dunk them in the rivers, and turn the animals against them.

The whumpee doesn’t like forests anymore.
